My one week stay was very unpleasant. The studio room was very basic and very dirty! The floor had hairs all over it and a lot of sand everywhere including the beds. It seemed like they hadn't cleaned the room for months! There is no kettle, toaster and we only had one glass. We weren't given any toilet paper or any soap so we had to buy that ourselves. There is no air con and it gets VERY hot and it was really uncomfortable. The beds are rock hard and you only get one measly pillow which is as flat as a pancake! Rhodes itself I felt was not as i expected. Yes, it is true the beach is only 10 minutes away but beware because it is a dirty pebble beach!!! The beach is very dirty with rubbish flying about everywhere! The only nice part of the holiday was visiting the old town.

Everything was o.k room wise, but watch out for the men who work their, they like the ladies all of them, very off putting- would not go back there again for this reason.

Just back from a holiday in the Parasun Studios. The studios were very basic, and not very clean, We arrived and I dont think the floor had been swept for about a month, there was crisps, hair and sweet papers still under the bed, eventhough the maid had been in to clean, the patio was just as bad.....Didnt like to keep the door open during the night as we had nightly cockroches visits us, we had to place papers and shoes over the drains to stop their visit.... The studios are not air conditioned aswell and the studio is very hot... You can hire fans from the Family for 5 euros per day, but in the town fans only cost 18 euros to buy...( apparently the fans were left by last years guests who purchased them on the Island) On a good note the pool area and complex its self is nice and the weather was fantastic, the island was also fantastic and the family, Paris, George and Alex were very friendly and entertaining.... (george and alex do like the woman and this can be a little overpowering) and the cleaner needs glasses....

My husband and i took our honeymoon at Parasun, and boy were we glad we did! I have found the whole experience to be the best ever holiday abroud. We were met by Paras [I would say that she is one of the hardest working ladies i have ever met], who gave us a most required cuppa and was then shown our apartment. Yes there is no air conditioning, no kettle, toaster - if you are that bothered about these things, then bring them from the UK after reading the comments here. Paras and her two sons George and Alex made up for the no air con. [Are you really in your apartments that long anyway?] We had a right laugh and were made most welcome, even if we were both tone deaf on the karoke night.
Rhodes town isnt far, a short taxi ride or nip on the bus, 2 euros each. Quite cheap in town. Lots of shops, bars restuarants. One place to go would have to be the water park. So much fun - even though a little scary.
If you go on any excursions - ask lots - as we found there was hidden costs that we were not told.
Excellent place to stay - bringing the kids next year. Roll on 2009.

Thanks to Paris and family and Chris and Diane for making this a great holiday. Apartments were very basic but spotless. Everyone here had a fantastic weeks holiday. Great pool and bar service. Looking to come back in the future!

A wonderful time again spent at Para Sun. We were made to feel very welcome by Paris, Alex and George. The apartments are basic but are more than adequate. You come and go as you please which is what self catering is all about. We met some lovely people and will be visiting Para Sun in the future. A fantastic time in a lovely resort. Local food was excellent and there are restaurants in abundance, weather fantastic, the swimming pool was very inviting and you could also help yourself at any time to drinks/food. We would recommend Para Sun to all our friends.

It was my honeymoon the hotel itself very basic but was my 1st time abroad so easily pleased to start with.I found Paris VERY selective at being friendly and who with she didnt treat all her guests the same which found rude!!DO NOT have a bar or food tab with these people unless you have a good memory as we got RIPPED off another thing that was a disappointment was the food not the quality but the quantity!!!This was again selective to her guests I paid the same but got half the amount that other guests were receiving!!!BEWARE when you get here aswell of her son George he seems a nice man but very lechorous!!!Paris at times seemed quite pleasant and just as you thought this holiday is'nt so bad she became rude,impatient and bias with her guests when in that sort of business you should treat your guests EQUALLY!!!!!!!!Apart from this Greece itself was a beautiful country.

Had a fantastic time on our first stay at parasun.
Paris Alex and George made us feel very welcome.
HOME FROM HOME.
Apartments just what you need for a two wk holiday,
clean and very spacious, pool a lovely size for all ages and sunbathing areas are avaliable freely all around the pool. Beach and restaurants 10 min walk away.
A definate day trip 2 Simi is a must, AMAZING.
Rodes town only a 10 min drive in a taxi for 9 euros, where you will find lots of markets and nice jewellers. We will almost definately be back again this year.
Paris Alex and George made us feel very welcome.

What can i say.....yes Para Sun looked ok...but if you are one of the unlucky people who turns up to be told that they have over booked and you are subsequently taken to another place, in the middle of nowhere with greek students as neighbours and an empty pool (ie a pool with NO water) you may well have a different opinion. Spent the 1st night scared to go out of the room as people were urinating and partying on the balcony. Went on all night! It was totally ridiculous. After trying to rectify the problem with the woman who proports to run para sun) she became aggitated and rude. Basically told us to 'get on with it'. No apology or remedy. Never again. We later found out we are not the 1st people this has happended to! Beware!!!!!!!

We stayed at the Parasun Apartments for two weeks sept/Oct 07. We were greeted by a very friendly and helpful family. The apartments are basic but clean. Yes linen is changed once a week - but how many times do you change your linen at home? You are in Greece and this isn't a 3* or 4* hotel. If you want 4* accommodation then pay 4* prices.
It is an ideal place to stay if you want to explore the island. 9 Euro's by taxi into Rhodes or about 90 Euro's for 3 day car hire. Very cheap bus service that runs every 15 mins. I would recommend Parasun as a place to stay, a lovely pool for all ages, pool table, internet and a gaming machine all on site.
There are many restaurants to eat in. Chinese, Greek, English, Italian etc. All reasonably priced.
Many of the people who were staying at Parasun when we were there have stayed before. We plan to book for next year and meet with our new found friends once again. Roll on 2008

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay at Parasun Studios. It is basic but they have a pool, it's a family run place and you are made to feel very welcome. If we needed extra bits like glasses to drink out of for the apartment we just asked and they were very pleasant and helpful. They serve food and drinks through out the day and are open late at night.
The location is ideal, your a ten minute walk away from the beach, you can get a bus to Rhodes and you can get to Faliraki which is not to far away. If you like water parks go to the one in Faliraki you will love it!!
There are plenty of restaurants, shops and bars near by. We ate out every night my two favourite restaurants are La Cucina and Knights of Olde Restaurant service was great and the food delicious.
I recommend that you use insect repellent and use a plug in at the apartment.
Libra do offer excursions at an extra cost we found that it was worth it!
We had a brilliant time and I hope that other people that go here have as much fun as we did.

Another amazing holiday at Parasun Studios. Fourth visit to these apartments and can't praise them enough. Family run and all very friendly and helpful. Hi to George, Alex and Paris. I would definitely recommend these apartments as would lots of other people who return year after year.
The location is perfect with easy access to local bars, restaurants and shops as well as the stunning old town of Rhodes. Scenery is beautiful. I would definitely recommend this location and apartment without hesitation. You won't be disappointed. Roll on July 2008 when I will return if not before.

I have stayed at Parasun studios run by Paris and family three times now and I go nowhere else. Paris has become a much loved friend as has her family. I find Paris more than helpful in all things, large or small. I have seen her as mother, nurse and many other forms, she is patient,and happy to do all she can to make a customer feel comfortable and relaxed.
This year was especially hard on her but she still had a smile on her face for all. Her cooking is excellent and manners perfect this is why I keep going there for my holidays and will do so in future.

My husband and i stayed at the Para Sun studios in June and had a great time we found Paras and her family very friendly and very helpful, granted the studios are very basic but were very clean.
Though there was no kettle it wasn't too much of a problem as we just used the saucepan to boil water.
It is really cheap to eat out in Rhodes and there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. The Para Sun Studios are ideal for a base. All the other guests were friendly.
The only thing we did find was because there was no air con and the extreme heat the rooms were very hot at night but you can hire a fan from reception. We would stay here again.
