Just arrived back from the ros appartments. Very clean, friendly and we could not ask for a better location. The view was outstanding. The only thing would be that we would have liked air contioning. It is by the sea and the children`s room did get a breeze but our room did... more

We really enjoyed our stay at Ros - my friend and I went for one week June 2007. The apartments are very spacious and clean and the balcony was huge. Because our apartment was one bedroom we were on the ground floor which wasn't ideal but it was fine. The apartments are... more

most relaxed holiday yet!!!!
we have ust arrived back this very same day from the ros apartments (aparmentos ros) and what a brilliant place it was. the apartment was brilliant and spacious which is great for us as my brother is in a wheel-chair. although there is no televisions in the apartments there is plenty to do in the area and fab balconys facing the beac/promenade (all of them are fcing this way) because we were on he first floor we have a huge balcony whic was brilliant for keeping sandy shoes and sandals on (and our wheelchair!) with the relaxing pool area its a brilliant spot for families to bask in the ibizan sun. A great charectaristic of the place is how everyone shares floats like lilo's and do-nut rings and water guns etc. so there is no need to purchase expensive floats if you have alot of kids with you. restaraunts street is a great place for he odd night out for a meal, I would highly recomend Daffers in he middle of restraunt street where it is only 15.50 for three courses! Also, on the promenade, there is a british cafe called Mel's which is good for through the day or afternoon (chocolate brownie is gorgeous!!!) the food in the ros is pricey for the quality of the food itself. all in all, a absololutly amazing place!!! I loved it! viva la santa eulalia!!!
Clean and spacious
After visiting the Ros Apartments in July 2008, we were very pleased with the apartment and cleanliness. The pool area is not that large, although it was never overly busy and you could always get a sunbed. The beautiful beach is just across a small road, as is the promenade to stroll into the town and restaurants (just 5 minutes away). During the week we were there, there was a problem with the hot water in the apartments as it was running out by about 5 o'clock in the evening- so you needed to have an early shower unless you didn't mind a cold one. Apparently this had not been a problem until our week. Overall we would definitely return to the apartments and would recommend them to any family. We favoured the beach promenade of restaurants for slightly more value for money than the 'street of restaurants' in the town. We would recommend the Mar y Sol for some enjoyable meals and Ice Age for good priced drinks and fabulous home made ice cream, owned by a lovely, young and friendly Spanish couple.
Fantastic Family Fun
The Ros Apartments completely exceeded our expectations. The apartments are large, clean, reasonably well equipped and are in a perfect location. The staff are friendly and helpful and take a real interest in you and your family. The pool area is clean with plenty of sunbeds unless you get up in the afternoon. There is a small games room with two pool tables, air hockey and Space Invaders which keeps the teenagers happy. The resort is great for families with a wide promenade along the side of the beach and round the bay which is very safe for pleasantly strolling along in the afternoon or before dinner. There is a huge choice of restaurants to suit all tastes. San Vincente or Restaurant Street is particularly good. My only negative is that there is no air conditioning or even fans to rent at the apartments which makes it hot and sticky through the night. Also the general prices for little things like ice creams or juice is exspensive. All in all a great family holiday and we will definitely go back.
Third visit this year!
We've booked to go to the Ros apartments in July 2008 & this will be the third time we've stayed there. Spacious, clean apartments which are very close to the beach are the things that make us keep going back. Very convenient base for all the amenities that this delightful resort has to offer. The only downside to these apartments is that they don't have air con which means you need to sleep with the windows open & this can prove to be very noisy when the refuse men do the rounds very early morning. Otherwise, a very nice place to stay if you don't want all the noisy 'poolside entertainment' and kids club that the neighbouring hotel has to offer!
Lovely apartments, BUT staff very unhelpful
On arriving at the roz arartments everything looked okay, however on walking to our room we were greeted by an awesome building site, the workman worked and worked and worked and along with their work came noise noise noise and smelly bonfires from early morning till early evening and as the weather was'nt great we had to spend long amounts of time in our room which smelt of bonfires, not pleasent when your stuck in with 2 little children to entertain!!! At night it was very cold and trying to get a couple of blankets for the children was a task in itself, overall very disappointed at the attitude of the staff but the resort was lovely.
Nice Break
My daughter and I have just returned from a week in the Ros Aparments, Santa Eulalia, Ibiza. We had a ground floor 1 bedroomed apartment which was spacious and clean. Only problem was the view!!!!!!! we overlooked a building site at the back and waste ground. We were assured building work would not commence until November..........wrong.....Monday 1st Oct.........bang bang.......drill drill......and workmens voices woke us up early....... Also a couple had moved into the next apartment with a crying baby. Thankfully this was day 4/5 of our stay! I must say though that the staff were friendly and helpful and the rep.....she was lovely and knowledgeable. Santa Eulalia is a beautiful place. Restaurant Street is fantastic with a wide range of cuisine available. The Marina is good. The trip to Es Canar on the local Catamaran was good value and fun. The Hippy market on Weds is worth a visit but watch the prices!!!! We spotted things that were cheaper in the shops! All in all a great holiday.
Fab location, great apartments
My husband and I booked into the Ros Apartments as a late booking - a week before our travel date. Couldn't fault the flights (My Travel) and transfers which went without a hitch. We were pleasantly surpsied by the size of the apartments. For just the two of us there were 2 double bedrooms, a bathroom, a basic kitchen and large living area, plus a big balcony with a pool and (obscured) sea view. The apartments were in a great location for getting around the town, the only downside was the noise of the binmen outside, if that's what they were (?) (seemed to come every hour in the eary hours of the morning and always woke us up). Also the lack of air conditioning, it got very hot in the bedrooms at night. However, they were kept very clean and so no real complaints. Didn't use the pool much but there were plenty of beds and again, everything was kept clean and tidy. The resort itself is quite family orientated - we were one of the few 'younger' couples without kids. So don't go here for a great night life. There are lots of nice places to eat though and we enjoyed Bar Dona Ana for our 'nightcaps.' Also good to watch sport and the food there was good. Marsols and 4 Pinos were also good for drinks and the paella in 4 Pinos was delicious. Special mention food wise for us was the Gallery Restaurant. A bit classier than the others, therefore a little bit more expensive too but the food was delicious and I just wish there was one in Manchester because we'd be there all the time! We did struggle to find any 'authentic' Spanish places to eat - they seem to gear the restaurants towards tourists which is a shame. Other things to recommend from us - a visit to the little church at the top of the hill (apologies, can't recall the name), and also the walk along the cliff tops to Es Cana. Overall this was a great holiday which offered us just what we were after - a nice place to eat and drink and soak up the sun!
Hail MIGHTY Ceaser !!
Well we all went back again this year - all 23 of us !! The MIGHTY Ceaser just happened to be on duty the night we arrived and this year he has a new sidekick .... the infectious Marie -Anne. As usual the apartments were well up to scratch ( very handy to get a 2 bedroom apt for a family of 4 as the 1 bedroom apts are quite tight for space ). The pool area was the same as last year with plenty of sunbeds to go around, although thanks to Mel getting up early this year we got the best ones !! One thing I must admit though, the binmen seemed to have taken different weeks this year :-). !!!! Now back to the staff who to us are always worth a mention. Monica was there again this year and as usual she was brill .. always on the day shift and makes a great egg, bacon, beans & toast!! Ceaser is a smashing guy and will do anything for you. Although the entertainment at the hotel is, well lets just say basically non existent, we asked Ceaser to stay late one night so we could all have a party. Not a problem at all and with other guests joining in we kept him up till 6am. We ourselves bought the food and Marie-Anne cooked it for us.Both of them were supberb on the night.... she must have cooked at least 4 kilos of prawns :-) . Ahhh Marie-Anne !! What a star she is but dont be fooled when you go up to restaurant row ... her sister works up there and I swear they are identical twins ( actually there is a few years between them ). The resort itself did not let us down again. Loads of restaurants and bars, from The 4 Pinos and their amazing rolls, to restaurante row, to Mel's ( not the Mel from our group !! ) to once again the best bar award --- Bar Bonita. From the first hug on arriving it was like we have never been away. From the no nonsense son Adam (great guy ) to Francis ,still on the scrumpy jack, to Lauren - words are not enough for her, get over and meet her - to mummy Bonita. Dont leave the island till you try her curry and chilli ... WOW. One down side though to the whole resort , no Juan's wine bar- pity. Believe it or not we are booking same place next year , not as many but we cant wait. Last word must go to Ceaser . Still fanitical about his beloved Deportivo but we did try and convert him.... no chance as his english is getting better and the banter is even better now !!!!
Spacious apartments in great location
APARTMENTS Plain but spacious. Loads of room for 2 in a 1-bedroom apt. Our balcony overlooked a building site so the view was atrocious but it was inactive so at least it was quiet. There is a lot of noise in the apartment building though, mainly furniture scraping. I don’t know why it’s so frequent and so loud but I had to wear earplugs to sleep. Pool is small but very clean and there are plenty of sunbeds. These are exclusive to Direct Holidays. LOCATION Excellent, a few steps from the start of the promenade and the beach and a five minute walk to the Street of Restaurants BEACH Directly in front and to the right there are sunloungers, to the left there are none. Beach was clean and peaceful. RESORT Nice friendly resort with plenty of Spanish people, (we really noticed the difference when we went to the hippy market at Es Cana as it seemed so British in comparison). Lots of restaurants, nicest ones are on the Street of Restaurants, in the marina and on one of the roads up from the promenade (with the market stalls on). Lots of beachside cafes for lunch and plenty of cocktail bars and ice cream parlours for after dinner. Lots of nice shops too – clothes and shoes, not just tourist tat. TRIPS You can get boats from the start of the marina to lots of different places so no need to go on your tour operator’s trips. We also hired a car for two days from a place by the marina. WEATHER IN SEPTEMBER Weather was mixed. Rain, cloud, thunder and lightning some days and sun on others. No need for a jacket, even on the last night (23rd sept).
ros apartments were very good
date 30 june 2006 these apartments are in a good location, very large with two bedrooms. they have the basic equipment and no tele. safety deposit boxes can be rented, which are in the rooms. all the apartments have a large balcony which is in the sun all day. the apartments have a maid service with towels and bedding changed twice aweek. there is a lift to all 3 levels. the nearest supermarkets are 300m away and sell everything. there is a games room with a couple of table games, arcade machines and satellite tv. the bar service is does meals which were very good and good value. the staff are vey helpful and friendly. the swimming pool is of average size and very clean, with a small childrens end. the sunbeds around the pool are free. the excellent sandy beach is 100m away. the resort centre is a short walk away. most of the restaurants are on the see front and cater for all tastes. the indian restaurants was excellent. if you are planning on going to the waterpark for the day, make it half a day. it is the smallest waterpark i have ever been to. not that it is bad, it is just small. my son and i went round all the slides in an hour and that included queing up. i would recommend the hire of a car. it is a very easy island to get round and almost impossible to get lost. it opens up the opportunity to visit the small beautiful secluded beachers that are otherwise out of reach. it will also save you a fortune by not using the tour operaters trips. would i go and say in the ros apartments again, yes. after going all round the island i thought santa eulalia was the best resort.
