I would not recommed this holiday to anyone, felt we had been rip off, wanted an extra £25:00 saying we had paid late, the day before holiday had text and email to say we could not have the caravan we had booked as they said it was unavailable, and we were given another... more
It is a shame that this guest felt she was treated unfairly; she read and agreed to our terms and conditions and knew there was a charge for paying late. We do not always "double book", sometimes, the advertised property is not available and we always offer the same or higher grade which we did in this case. The 3rd bedroom was not locked (even if it was, the guest had two bedrooms for their use (which is what they booked)) and there were only 2 people staying anyway so I'm not sure what the problem was. I think it an exaggeration to say they "froze"; I'm sure the guest would have called yet again if that had been the case. I'm sorry the guest had problems getting meter cards but, obviously, that's beyond our control.

Worst place we have ever stayed.. the site is so run down dirty unkept,Caravans very old and grubby..Seems to be full of men who live there all the time not just on holiday as they left for work at 6 everyday!!.. as for the beach well if you like to be next to an industrial china works great!!!..Never again

we booked a holiday to snowland through enjoy holidays. we were told the caravan was silver rated in a blind mans eyes maybe. it was dirty smelly unkept there were two doors but we could only open one the other one did not work there was a leak under it the heater didnt... more
It is sad that customers can't be honest about events; we have asked her (on 15/11/10) to report the true facts but she has not had the decency to do that. This customer has received a full refund (on 04/10/10) of all monies that she asked for, even though she didn't make her claim until the end of September. We accept that there were some issues and we did offer to get someone out immediately to rectify them but she REFUSED this. The caravan was not dirty and smelly (it had been cleaned prior to their arrival). She was advised, before arrival, that only one door would open and we are sorry for the inconvenience but it is perfectly OK in the eyes of the law. The leak did not affect the use of the caravan and was rectified soon after their arrival. The heater did work, it just has a thermostat which "kicked in" when it got too hot...all quite normal. The customer had the right to reject the caravan immediately but it obviously wasn't that bad as she didn't. Unfortunately, we can't be held responsible (as the customer knows) for the site as we don't manage it but the customer knew it was 1 Star.

Site was shabby & unkempt.
Caravan unclean and very tired looking.Toilet leaked amongst so many other things!
Encouraged to write comments in visitors book and if anyone was truthful Dianne & Ged were on their defence and didnt react proffesionally in their replying comments.

I spent a wonderful week at The Snowland Leisure park, unlike some of the other reviewers I booked direct with Snowlands and was told all about the site. I was interested in the angling side. They are developing the site to suit disabled anglers and the area of the woods... more

Snowlands is not like it states on the website or via the internet, some of the caravans are beautiful but the park is very run down. It states it is next to the beach but is a good 9 minutes walk away.. This is not a problem but it should state this. And not state it is on... more
