Reviews of Double Tree Hotel, Universal Studios

This was my 3rd trip to Florida but my first stay in the Double Tree, I was so impressed by the place and the service that we have already booked our next holiday to Florida and will again be staying in The Double tree at the entrance to Universal.



The room was perfect for what we needed, enough cupboard space for our luggage, TV (with good selection of channels) air conditioning etc. The pool area was large and always very clean.



On arrival there was no queuing in reception and we were welcomed by a very friendly team of staff.



The location was ideal with a large Walgreens close by and couple of restaurants very nearby.



The walk to Universal was around ten mins max. So you never had to worry about parking charges or queues at Universal Studios because you could walk.



The view from our room was amazing and you could judge if the park was busy by looking at the car park or seeing people on some of the large rides.



The room service was fantastic, rooms were cleaned each day, and complimentary shampoo and conditioner were topped up each day.



We went to the Florida for our 3 week honey moon and I was worrying about staying in the same place for 3 weeks, but I can’t stress strongly enough how happy my new husband and I were with the hotel we chose and would strongly recommend The Double Tree at the entrance to Universal to anybody wishing to book a holiday to Orlando.

Myself, my husband and our 14 yr old son spent 10 nights in the doubletree, food was great staff was great, room was great.



At first I thought that we may have a problem as we booked this holiday independently, and had to arrange our own transfers etc, as we were traveling on to Denver then Vegas, we thought that as this was going to be the start of our holiday that first impressions would stick in our minds the most, and after a long flight and transfers at Phili, that arriving late to check in would encounter many problems.



But I am glad to say how wrong I was. The staff at the doubletree couldn’t do enough for us, even late at night they went out of their way to help us check in fast and get to our rooms.



The whole of our stay was excellent, to put it mildly, even when we came to leave the staff were wishing us a good journey, and they meant it! Every aspect of our stay at this hotel was excellent, couldn’t fault it. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.



Fantastic holiday would go back today if possible. Maybe next year. ps. if you are thinking of booking independently would recommend it as it can cost a lot less, and you can afford to stay longer.
