Bonadies Hotel

hi to all tripadviser We attended Camilla & Johnatan 's wedding at Bonadies. Our friend found spectacular review on this site, and after that Camilla started her personal enquires with the Bonadies wedding planner. Well, my personal impression.....simply stunning. Optimal organization, starting from a trip boat from Sorrento (were we ovenighted) to Amalfi and immediately after a shuttle service to Ravello and.......the most...... a Pulcinello with mandolin and guitar waiting for us at the end of the mass who led us to the wedding reception at Bonadies. We had a faboulous candel light dinner with an open bar and a 3 people band playing for us. We will not forget this spectacular day in Ravello and the Bonadies aswell and surely will be back again for an other party as I'm going to get married next year.

We had a very nice and relaxing week at Hotel Bonadies, that we choosed under suggestion of a very good friend of us. The hospitality is perfect and the warmth of the welcome made us immediately forget the narrow road that we drove to get to this piece of heaven. We did not get a room with balcony facing the sea as we really booked too late, but the standard of the room was superb, the furniture new and the jacuzzi wonderfully working. We spent most of our time on the pool terrace, enjoyng the warm of the sun and eating gourmet dishes at the hotel restaurant. Indeed the service is as a 5 star hotel and variety of food of the Half Pension is stunning. We really appreciated the helpfull staff and the way they treated us as a part of the family. Hopefully we will be back next year as we already miss the place. just back

Just returned from a week's stay at the Bonadies. Our hotel room was very disappointing - although there were lovely views from the balcony / terrace the room itself was small for 2 adults and in need of decoration & repair. There appeared to be much nicer rooms, but the hotel was too full to move us. Also, hotel is on quite a busy / noisy street. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful (particularly in the bar & restaurant). Food was good and there was a very high standard of cleanliness in the bedrooms and public areas. Overall not a bad place to stay but would probably not choose the Bonadies again if I returned to Ravello (which is beautiful!).

We stayed at the Bonadies for 2 days in April as part of our honey moon trip throughout Italy. The hotel is in a lovely area on the Amalfi cost and our view was beautiful. Unfortunately, the hotel itself was a huge dissapointment. The common areas , rooms and balconies are desperately in need of a facelift. The room itself was very small, with old, worn furnishings, dim lighting and overrun with ants. The balcony offered a wonderful view of the coast, but was not a private balcony but shared with all hotel guests. The balcony was also dirty and seemed to be a storage area for the hotel as it had construction and plumbing materials on it. Early our second day, workers brought up a hugh, unassembled jacuzzi bathtub to leave in front of our window for the rest of the stay. Compared to the many other hotels we visited in Venice, Rome, Florence, Naples and Capri, the Bonadies was a big dissapointment for the price. It would have been perfectly acceptable for half the price. I understand there are much better options in Ravello for 100 euro less per night. We found wonderful, well priced hotels in Venice and Capri. Please email if you would like details on those.

We stayed at Bonadies for 5 nights after reading such positive reviews on trip advisor and other websites. It did not disappoint. We had a sea view room with a balcony, it was beautiful, and I would recommend it even though it is more expensive than other rooms at Bonadies. The staff was very helpful and nice as well. Would also recommend Ravello as a place to stay, rather than Amalfi, Positano or Sorrento. Although it is a little harder to get to, Ravello is more beautiful and seemed less touristy to us.

The special of this place is the friendly and familiar atmosphere. We had very helpfull people taking care of the preparation of our wedding, and the DAY were superb, but at the same times it seemed to us to be at home. The lunch was a success and we really have a wonderfull souvenire. Hopefully our celebrations will all be at House Bonadies. Thanks a lot to all of you

Ravello is the Best, Bonadies Hotel and its Family is the Best. We love this family, the history and the kindness and warm they gave us during this short stay. Indeed the best place ever visited in our life. Hope to be back soon again

If you are looking for a beutiful place where spend your holiday you can not think to other place than Bonadies Hotel in Ravello. To say that is a piece of heaven can seems too much, but is true! I was here a week such as I had to show Amalfi coast to some of my work partners and we found a beautiful place, a helpull and friendly staff, clean rooms, high quality Breakfast and dinner, and, as last, but not the last, the kindness of owners. Carrano family show me and to my work partners what is italian class and high italian cooking. I hope to stay again in this hotel as soon as possible.

We where at Bonadies Hotel only for two nights as they were fully booked due an international conference. The location is great, with stunning view over the Amalfi coast, rooms are well furnished and very very clean (in other places seemed to be an optional!). Staff is very helpfull and friendly.Buffet breakfast offers fresh fruits and many different kinds of sausage.Set Dinner has up to 4 choises.every night..... more than we could ever eat. The owners (carrano family) who manage this piece of heaven are very warm and familiar both to americans and britains as they traveled a lot . They will probaly offer to share a bottle of their special reserve wine at the family table, and you will enjoy sharing the family as a table for 8 is always ready for their meals. Best value for money found in a 4 stars in Italy. Simply great

Hotel Bonadies is a Hidden Jewel I hesitate to expose. Why? For fear that there will be all filled up when I want a room! This hotel has it all! An excellent location-having a cappaccino on their verando facing their own charming square as the local life goes by is so cool...and you can get to the center square in 10 minutes! For a Four Star hotel the prices are great..and the views are spectacular-equal to the hotels with the $600. per night rates. Their kitchen serves delicious food, and some of their specialties are the best in Ravello. And last but not least, The Carrano family who owns this delightful hotel make all their guests feel like they are a welcomed visiting family member. My husband and I have stayed at The Hotel Bonadies for many years now...and it only gets better. Staying in Ravello? This hidden jewel is the place to stay.
