Hotel Bonadies was opened in 1880 by Signor Andrea Bonadies and was first known as “Locanda Bonadies Bellavista sul Mare” which translated means visitors can expect a stunning view. Firmly established after more than 120 years of service in one of Italy's most sought after resorts, the year 2000 saw Hotel Bonadies awarded with a four star certificate. The hotel is still run and owned by the Bonadies-Carrano family and guests can be assured of a warm welcome based on quality and price.

The menu was in Italian and English and the waiters were happy for you to try out your Italian on them if you wished.

All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel Bonadies and Ravello was an ideal location to visit the region's sights, (Pompeii, Mount Vesuvius, Positano via the boats in Amalfi). There are also many lovely walks you can do from Ravello (the tourist information office was very helpful with maps).

I would love to return again soon and would definitely choose Hotel Bonadies again, it was amazing!
