Location is direct on a 24 hour flight path! Aircraft noise dreadful. Accommodation is a health and safety risk - fridge with black mould, pool with a family of lizards, cutlery rusty, bed linen with worn holes, heavily stained mattresses, no weekly bbq as advertised!
Dangerous pool area for children (left manhole cover open with a 15 foot drop! Ex-army base area that has been vandalized and is unsafe. Beach is dirty, water not suitable for children. You must have a car to get anywhere. No telephones at all, place has been derelict for over two years and they had one week to open it!
It shows- electric sockets hanging off walls in the "bathroom area" which was a joke if it wasn’t so dangerous. If you've booked to go here try and get moved as you will honestly hate the place.

Renata Apartments are absolutely disgusting to say the least. This is the worst accommodation I have seen, and am very surprised that Olympic would even be placing people here; in my eyes it is even unfit for animals! The apartments had rusted over mirrors, plug sockets and fridge...
There was a bar area outside and it was infested with crickets, they were literally jumping out of the trees in to us. In the end sitting in this area was out of the question.
The pool was filthy and there was no way I could allow my son to swim in there, the pool area was a hazard to say the least, and was never cleaned! It was so bad that one of the guests decided to make the best of a bad situation and try to clean the pool...
The bed sheets were not changed until we complained and when they were finally changed the sheets were full of holes. These apartments are not very central; we had to hire a quad bike for our entire stay, in order to get around the island as the beach outside the Renata was not really a beach.
We complained to our rep on arrival and she kept promising to try move us, this never happened in the end luckily, the manager of the apartments got so sick of our complaining he moved us in to very nice apartments, we were lucky in the end.
