A shocking one night stay. Do not be deceived by the beautiful surroundings! I booked a suite in this hotel via email. I confirmed with my credit card. On arrival they had not made the reservation for us. They said they didn't receive my email. They found us a room, although it was not the suite that I booked as a surprise for my wife.
After a 4 hour journey it was upsetting to say the least. But then. No hot water, we rang down to reception to be told they would get back top us. They didn't. There was no hot water all evening in the entire hotel.
The food was the worst I have ever had in a hotel. Over cooked and a very limited choice. When the waitress asked us if everything had been ok, I told no, it wasn't, she then came back a few minutes later and said that "the chef apologizes".
The hotel advertise a baby listening service only the boy on the reception desk knew nothing about this, when the owner was called, he set it up, and then throughout the evening there was no one manning the desk so no one would have heard if our daughter woke up!
A really terrible experience. Without doubt the worst service I have ever received.
