Sun Maris Park Hotel

DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL.......We arrived here and was told to be quiet, this carried on for two days, even though we informed the Rep,......The food was plain and no variation......The staff are miserable and ignorant.....We were told that this was a great hotel where we could have a laugh and a joke, this was all untrue.....I would defo visit Marmaris again but not go anywhere near this hotel......
I hope you read this review before you go, and dont waste your money in this place.....

We were recommended for this hotel by MONARCH, as 9 ladies were going on a hen do.........I would never wish anyone, who wants to have fun, to even read any other comments or reviews, as this is the worst hotel i have ever stayed in.......From the moment we arrived, we were told to be quiet, and treated appalingly....The food, if thats what you can call it, was absolutley disgusting and the staff were rude and ignorant.......DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL IF YOUR LOOKING TO HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!!

i came back from this hotel last saturday and it was brilliant the staff were helpfull and very friendly food was fantastic me and my friend shared a room and it was massive loads of room swimming pool was quite big howeveer there wasnt alot of sun beds that was really the only negative the drink was good i had a beautifull view from my hotel room. i paid a really cheap price for this holiday and i would recomend any body to stay at this holiday cos it is brill !! how ever marmaris its self is much more amazing the bars the clubs there soo good it was my first time in marm and i had a wicked time im even considering going over there for 6 momnths ! to be honest dont really know what all the other bad reviews are about cos this hotel was amazing so dont listen to other reviews !!!!!!!!!

just returned from this hotel, had an experience i hope never to repeat.
on arrival the rep told us to be greatful to be here as most of the staff had never been on holiday. staff were rude unless you were blonde and size zero or giving them a tip! the female receptionist however was the rudest of all. there was also problems with the quality of the food, we had to find somewhere else to eat, not good when you have paid for an all inclusive holiday. the hotel was closed the day after we left for disinfection of all the rooms as most guests, ourselves included, were covered in bites. the drinks in the all inclusive range were at times undrinkable!! the entertainment was limitted and after 5 mins they came round with a hat for a tip!
The other guests were great fun though

We booked in to the sunmaris city hotel and was moved to the sunmaris beach hotel with no explanation before arrival, on arriving at the hotel at 02.30am we were put in a taxi and sent to the Sunmaris park hotel, we were told it was 4**** all-inclusive which we had booked. The hotel was a joke, we were given a box room that you couldn’t swing a cat in, the bed cover only just fitted the top of the bed so when one person got in there was no cover left to cover the other person, i asked for an extra cover at reception to be told there was none that night but they would get me one the next day after two more attempts at asking I still never seen an extra cover. No bath or sink plug in the room my wife required a bath despite asking we still never received a plug it was always yes later. Although the cleaners came in the room regular it took 5 days before the sheets were changed on the bed. this was meant to be an all-inclusive hotel the only drinks you could get was beer or watered down vodka and raki any mixers such as coke was not on draught but out of 2Ltr bottles they were always flat, if you required a cocktail you had to pay for it. The drinks were all served in small plastic cups that all had jagged edges on and cut your lips. The selection of food was diabolical and when meals were finished there were no snacks throughout the day if you wanted a snack in-between you had to pay for it. Families beware no ice-cream for the kids. There was no activities around the pool or hotel during the day for families and children and the entertainment was really bad, entertainment was always arranged late at night when the free bar closed and would take place in the bar were you paid for your drinks, this usually lasted around 10 - 20 minutes then they would come round with a hat for you to pay for the entertainment. There was one show put on, prior to the show staff approached guests while they were seated having lunch and asked if they would like to go to the show, which would cost £20 per couple. We have never been to such an appalling all-inclusive in our life. The only good thing was there is plenty restraunts near the hotel were you would find many of the hotel guests enjoying a proper meal. and over the road is a McDonalds and a supermarket were again you will find many guest eating and buying real not watered down Vodka and Raki and soft drinks.

The hotel cleanlıness was ok thats about ıt. The food was dısgustıng and ı wouldn`t even feed ıt to my dog. the all ınclusıve drınks are appallıng and the beer gıves you dıarrohea!! The entertaınment starts at 10.45 pm and fınıshes at 11pm. The staff are frıendly but too frıendly (and very creepy) towards chıldren. we have a one year old and they try takıng your baby off you, forever kıssıng them, touchıng them. The pool ıs very cold and lımıted sunbeds for so many guests. Marmarıs ıtself ıs ok but the Turks are very rude and constantly go on and on at you.1st and last tıme ın Turkey...happy holıdays!!

Just had holiday at Sun Maris Park, Marmaris. Staff are very friendly and rooms are good quality. Thats about the only good things! The food is terrible, I wouldnt feed it to a dog! The pool is below average, drinks are terrible and this hotel is supposed to be a 4 star. It really should be a 3 star!! Dissapointment!!!!!

our room was massive (a family room for 4) with mountain/pool and sea view! and plenty big enough for the 3 of us. twin rooms were small and compact but do wot they need to! the pool is ice cold however it was ideal in the heat to cool down, even if it was just to dip your feet. be up early to put your towel on ur sunbed as there are limited numbers available approx 50 for all the guests, possibly due to the size of the area around the pool being quite small, there is the area infront of the bar which has chairs and tables though. limited amount of drink is a bit of a problem, will only serve one per person most of the time and if there are big groups sat together they will check how many drinks are on the table and not allow anymore untill some have been drank, all inclusive bar shuts at 11pm on the dot and after that drinks are chargable but reasonable in comparisson to other small bars approx 5 lira for a tequila shot and 7 lira for a vodka and coke / beer which is average in pubs a fish bowl was a bargain at 45 lira - in beach front bars and bar street they ranged from 60 lira to 150 lira!!!! entertainment was on a weekly cycle and was ok but wasnt worth stayin in for and didnt last long. started between 1045 and 11pm and was lucky if it lasted half an hour bingo is about twice a week and they love sellin tickets for it! the food.... well it was a shock to the system to walk into the dinning room on our first nite for tea. there is a small selection of hot meals usually 2/3 per meal along with chips and rice/pasta (this is not self service and the portion sizes are small) and a selection of salad dishes and pasta salads breakfast however was basically boiled eggs, toast and cerial.... plenty of little bars near by with cheap full englishes to offer starting from 3 lira or u can order one at the hotel for 6 lira. the pool side snak bar or food ordered after 9pm where chargable (we didnt order anything so dont know how good it was). the staff were mostly friendly however came across as being rude at times both with wot they said and how they said it. they were very hot and cold at times. overall the hotel experience was great and value for money.
what made this the best holiday ever i hear u all ask..... the other guests! the fun the laughter the life long friendships made. regardless of age or who people where traveling with or where they were from everyone was a pleasure to be around and made the atmosphere fab... regardless of what everyone thought of the food or drink ect everyone wanted to enjoy themselves and have the best holiday they could.... AND WE CERTAINLY DID!

Well, where shall I start?! On arrival at 9pm in the evening, we were shown to our rooms and informed that the dining room would be closing in 15minutes-we went straight to the dining room and all four of us had a different choice, all of the food that should have been served hot, had been left to go cold and was inedible, despite all of us being very hungry. Although all inclusive, it was necessary for us to eat all of our meals out of the hotel. The drinks that were on offer for the all inclusive guests were very limited and was served in childrens' plastic beakers and all the mixers were flat and tasted unpleasant. The rooms both had many faults, smelt of cigarettes, showers were barely functional and on 2 occasions whilst there, we had no water to wash or shower-staff just said that they 'new' and it 'would be on later'!. The wall lights were not fixed properly to the walls and there was exposed live wires in the room. The patio door did not lock and the air conditioning was faulty. The towels were dirty and torn. We made a formal complaint, when we eventually were able to contact the 'rep' and have since been contacted by letter, saying that 'enquiries are being made, this was approx a month ago now and have still not heard anthing more.

we got to this dump at 5am and was told there was no rooms for us we had a party of 8 and was moved to the chian turke hotel. and this was room only. we had to walk to the sun maris beach to use the all inclusive. the food was fit for pigs
the staff and manager was very rude. just didnt give a [--] about guests from the uk.i seen the manager vulkan and asked for a move.and was told to go away. i emailed on the beach who i booked my holiday with. after a week we was moved .i would never go back to any of there hotels ever again. brits are treated like [--] over in turkey. we should have the same rights . they would get if they came to the uk.id never got to turkey ever again
