what a lovely hotel, reveiws had said staff were miserable???? everyone was lovely and friendly and helpful. rooms were well equipped, kitchen had full oven and four gas rings (not that i did much cooking ) kettle and toaster. room and bedroom had air-con which you have to pay 50 euros for the remote, well worth it! no problem getting your money bk when you hand the remote back on your departure. hotel had a shop which was well stocked but the spar round the corner is much cheaper. there are free activities which are going on all day, which my husband and son took part in most days including darts shooting pool water volleyball and many more. gorgeous beaches, when you come out of hotel turn left and its 10 mins into the heart of magaluf, turn right and palma nova is on your doorstep, would definatley return to this hotel. the only down side (which did not effect us) there are no lifts, so this hotel is not suitable for wheel chairs users or families with pushchairs.

A very nice hotel and friendly staff, my biggest disapointement was, "maid service was only 3 times a week and there was no lift, which made it very difficult for us to carry our cases up to our room as we were on the top floor, a large family or elder person would certainly struggle with this.

We went here with 2 young kids age 6 and nearly 2..Was a bit worried as to what it would be like as it wasnt in the summer season. Appaptments were fine although there was some steps and as we were ground floor ants but they were clean and the staff were friendly. they were in a great location and entertainment was good especially as half the resort didnt seem to be open yet! Weather was poor but then its only april. Would go back but probably not until the summer!!!!

Our first time staying in the Aquasol was in 2006 and we have returned every April since. We have found it to cater for all our family needs. Entertaining my two younger children as well as my great gran who also comes with us. The rooms are confortable and clean and the pool has always been well looked after. The staff are pleasant and will try to accommodate any needs you have. We can walk easily from the hotel down to the beach or the other was takes you to Magaluf. I can recommend this holiday to families who have children under 10yrs as the entertainment is catered around this age group. For the last three yrs we have booked direct thus saving us a fortune! Cutting out the travel agents for us was the best decision!

If you have young children how use pushchairs then I would highly recommend not going here. We had a total of 46 steps from the road side through the apartment block to reach our apartment. There are no lifts and by the end of the holiday it was a real hassle going out and about. The food was dreadful too although there was a buffet the meat looked liked it had been there all day there was hardly any vegetables and they thought that all English people ate everyday were chips and gravy sauce!!

We stayed at aquasol in june for a week, it was a gr8 stay.
The staff were friendly and we never had anything stolen while we was there. We always left r money and phones out while the maids were about and never had a problem. Its ryt near da best bar BANANA JOES!!! And only a 10min walk from magaluf. The only fault was that we had a bird that was stuck in one of the rooms it was noisy and it did smell a bit but apart from that there were no other problems. We're goin back agen in 2009 and are gonna stay at aquasol again!!! I wud recommend aquasol to a mate it was an unforgettable holiday!!!

Just spent a week away in Aparthotel Aquasol in Palma Nova. Knowing that there were not any lifts, we asked for a ground floor apartment due to having a baby & pushchair & got it, however we had to go down stairs, up them again & and then down again just to get to out apartment! Which defeated the object of having a ground floor! Our water in the aparment was yellow, we have a 10 month old daughter and was not willing to bathe her in it. When we asked the man at reception to move us, he told us all of the rooms were the same as a pipe had burst. Therefore we asked to move hotels, but were told it would cost us an extra 150 euros. Which we didn't have, so we had to stay and boil the kettle about ten times every night to bathe our daughter which took about an hour just to fill the bath halfway. We also discovered an ants nest which spread over the whole apartment. Again, nothing was done about this when we told the receptionist and we had to deal with it ourselves.
The pool area was nice, however, everybody was cramped up onto one side of the pool as there are lots of trees and one side was shaded for the whole day. So there wasnt a lot space & privacy.
Our room was cleaned every other day and were always left clean towels as well.
Would definetley return to palma nova, but not this hotel!

we went in a party of 8, 3 adults 4 children and 1 infant. We were told we would have a 3 bed apartment, but instead got 2x1 bed apartments on the third floor poles apart from each other, and with a 1 year old and a pushchair this was a nightmare as there are no lifts. Hotel staff and bar staff were the most miserable and ignorant people you will ever come across in your life. The shop and the bar prices are a total rip off. Our apartment got cleaned once in the week we stayed there, and that is only because we requested it as we had no clean towels after 4 days into our stay, the other apartment in our party didnt get cleaned at all and they had to use our towels as after requesting them 3 times, they gave up in the end! Our apartment was in a terrible state of repair and when we opened our door to get out on the third day, a chunk of plaster fell off and landed on my 6 year olds head, i complained to the rep, they didnt seem interested, said that they would get somebody to look into it, they never did and by the time we left, half the wall had fallen down
Entertainment was good and the pool was nice and clean, loungers tend to go by 7.30 in the morning though.
food was very bland and boring, very overpriced too
It is in a great location, palma and magalluf are great places with lots of bars/restaurants/shops and excelent beaches. I will definately return but NEVER to this place
MORE 2 STAR THAN 3 STAR PLUS!!

Just got back from a week staying at the aquasol and after reading reviews was dreading it! When we arrived we let the manager know that we did not require maid service (did not want to risk having anything stolen having read the recent reviews!) We stayed in 3 bedroomed apartment and were self catering, there was a utility room with mop/brushes etc. We rang reception when we needed clean towels and they were provided promptly. The hotel was lovely,the staff friendly, the pool area clean. We didn't see any rubbish left about as has been remarked upon previously. The hotel entertainment was good for kids and I didn't think the bar prices were any more expensive than what you'd find at hotels here. The only let down was all the steps, which was awkward with a pushchair and probably impossible for anybody in a wheelchair. We all had a great time and would definitely go back for 2 weeks next time!

I went with my family for two weeks. We had a wonderful time. We found the hotel staff friendly, helpful and attentive. The rooms were kept very clean, as was the rest of the hotel. The only problem we had was that we were not given enough towels for 5 adults but this was soon remedied. We didn't eat in the hotel so cannot comment on quality of food. None of the guests had anything stolen during the 2 weeks we were there. We had more of an issue with the holiday reps than with the hotel. We are planning to return next year, but this time will book direct through the hotel!
