Hotel Sir Anthony Reviews
" This was our 5th visit to the Sir... "

This was our 5th visit to the Sir Anthony and we have just booked our 6th. When you read some of the reviews on other sites you would probably get a distorted view of this hotel.
It’s the kind of hotel a lady on her own could go to and be wonderfully looked after. The rooms are spacious and most have recently been decorated and every room has a sea view. The gardens are immaculate and the pool area is superb. The pool is always warm and inviting and there are never any squabbles about sun beds as most of the time its never crowded.
The food is the usual buffet breakfast with hot food cooked for you if you wish. We stay bed and breakfast because there are so many restaurants locally. Close by there is a very up market shopping centre with designer shops and also the usual perfume and electrical shops (let the buyer beware). The staff are second to non nothing is too much trouble. Go and be spoiled. (No I don't work for them) I am just a very satisfied guest.

Our room was located on the ground floor and was clean and spacious. Fruit and champagne greeted us on our arrival, and various other goodies were left in our room during the week.
Patio doors led onto our own balcony which was furnished with reclining chairs and a table. A few steps gave direct access to the landscaped gardens and pool area.
There was always plenty of sunbeds for the guests, and a pool attendant made sure that towels and parasol were provided.
The entire hotel was spotlessly clean, and the bathroom towels were changed at least twice a day. All the staff from the reception bar and restaurant were efficient and friendly.
The majority of the guests in the hotel were regulars, some returning twice every year.
Although we had only booked on a bed and breakfast basis we ate most nights in the Windsor restaurant which was not over-priced and was of a high standard.
The location of the hotel is excellent being right in the heart of the resort with lots of shops, bars, restaurants etc, plus being right on the promenade.
We looked at several other hotels during our stay, but the Sir Anthony cannot be bettered.
