Having taken the advice of other holiday makers on Holiday Watchdog, my boyfriend and I booked to go to the Elli Marina Apartments in early September. We decided to book separately rather than through a tour operator, which worked out good value for money. Contact the Hotel directly to book a room and they'll arrange an airport transfer aswell. We booked easyjet flights which were at convenient times.
We received a very warm welcome on our arrival from Fondas and his family (despite it being around 11pm!) Breakfast is served by the pool at your table which was nice, rather than a buffet style breakfast which we're used to. Elli takes care of you throughout the day serving drinks etc - nothing is too much for her!
The apartments are conveniently located, near to the pebble beach and the town of Benitses, which has a good selection of restaurants and bars. It feels quite authentic, i.e. there aren't English and Irish bars on every corner!! The apartments are kept clean and have air conditioning which is essential in the heat!
Overall we had a week of pure relaxation - you can hire a car and visit other parts of the island (sandy beaches can be found on the other side). However we were content staying by the pool and sunbathing for most of the week. It was so hot while we were there, we didn't really feel like getting in a car and exploring!!
Would defintiely recommend to those who are looking for a relaxing stay in a friendly-run hotel.

We have just returned from having a wonderful 2 weeks at Elli Marina Studios and can wholeheartedly recommend it.
The apartments are spotless and very well maintained. The pool is wonderful, cleaned on a daily basis and is kept very tidy. We travelled with our 3 year old little boy who loved the childrens pool from the onset but who then felt very comfortable in the big pool.
Elli and Fondas are wonderful people who went out of there way to help us, especially when we found out our airline had gone bust! Nothing is too much to ask for and she is wonderful with children, having a 4 year old little girl Clairie. Our little boy loved playing with her. Elli and Marinas parents spend lots of time there also and also make you feel very welcome - the raki and wine came out on several occasions.
If you want to have a relaxing holiday then I can advise you to book, we will be going back next year

This was the first summer when we went abroad with our one-year old daughter and we expected a whole lot from the owners of "Elli-Marina".
It turned out that we had a wonderful time at this lovely rental property, situtated in the charming city of Benitses on the east-coast of Corfu. From the internet we had some information about the condition of the house and we really found exactly what we asked for: a beautiful apartment and friendly owners.
From the very beginning the staff was very helpful, kind and polite. They did everything to make our stay enjoyable.
The breakfast was very good and tasty (included in the price) we also had several meals that were on the same level as in a restaurant a couple of times – delicious dishes were served the whole day.
The property is located in beautiful green surroundings with exotic plants and palms. It is very close to the centre of Benitses, walking distance to the beach and restaurants, but at the same time it is peaceful and quiet.
The rooms are comfortable, nicely furnished and equipped, air-conditioned and cleaned frequently throughout the week. The same held true for towels and bed-sheets.
In the evenings we chatted for hours on the balcony and enjoyed the fresh air and the nice view.
The water in the pool was crystal-clear whereas the sunbeds and umbrellas provided a pleasant stay for the whole day. In the children's pool our one-year-old baby had a great time, too.
"Elli- Marina" is family owned with every member of the family being extremely friendly to us, willing and attentive. They always tried to please us and fufliled every wish we had and played a lot with our children.
Benitses is in the centre of the island, so there are no distances, the other towns can be reached easily (with car).
It was so nice to be able to switch off and relax.
Overall I would recommend this family-hotel and next year we will come back here with the whole extended family to have another unforgettable holiday like this!
Great resort!

Very warm welcome, we were taken care of from the start of our very late evening arrival. The pool is wonderful, the room immaculate. The wasps were a bit annoying. Appreciate the airport transportation arrangements. The local area is not very interesting - a bit run down, but easy to reach Corfu by bus which is very nice. Elli-Marina makes a good place to base and see the island.

"Elli-Marina Studios and Apartments" is an ideal self- catering rental resort, an absolutely great place to stay ! Located in an excellent position, surrounded by green landscapes it afforded us the opportunity to explore both the North and South of the beautiful island of Corfu. Our fully equipped apartment was cosy, VERY clean, with a nice veranda. All members of this staffed property apart from being professional and knowledgeable is also courteous, ready and quick to satisfy every need - from preparing breakfast, to making suggestions for sites restaurants and tavernas. The outdoor- pool for kids and adults and snack bar Barracuda was were we spent a lot of time - unique in the Loutrouvia area, always crystal clear, didn't smell chlorine with nice sunbeds and great music. It is We will come back for sure and recommend it to friends and family! Job well done Elli and rest of family you guys keep up the good work!

We simply wanted to say thank you to Elli and Marina for the wonderful welcome and
hospitality they provided during our stay. We had a thoroughly
enjoyable time. The staff was very helpful and very welcoming. Our kids loved the pool especially. We will certainly be recommending you to our friends.
We look forward to visiting Elli Marina studios and Apartments again in the future.

We have just returned from a fabulous week at Elli-Marina and we would like to share our experiences. The apartments were just as described and were even better than our expectations. Our room, overlooking the pool, was beautifully kept and very well equipped with new air-conditioning, a new TV, a safety deposit box, crockery, cutlery, sheets and towels.
When we arrived we received a lovely warm welcome from Elli, one of the two sisters that own the place. Elli runs the pool bar and makes absolutely fantastic home-made jam, served everyday at breakfast. There was a wonderful family atmosphere and we felt at home straight away.
The apartments are set in a beautiful location, central to all shops, restaurants, bars and beaches, but equally, a good distance from the main street to remain quiet and relaxing. The weather was excellent with temperatures ranging between 26-30 C.
It was exactly what we were looking for! We would definately recommend the apartments to anyone who wants a relaxing holiday and a quality standard apartment!

We stayed here in September 2007 and it was a wonderful experience! The hotel has recently been renovated and the interior is bright and cheerful. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable and very clean. The pool and the poolbar are very nice places to stay and the staff was so friendly! Soon after we arrived, Elli gave us an orientation of the island and the sight seeing opportunities as well as the necessary maps and directions. Elli & Marina were wonderful hosts! We would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Corfu!!!

What a nice holiday we had at Elli Marina studios... My wife and I booked the vacation based on rave reviews from our friends. It was affordable, safe and filled with the hospitality for which Greece is known for. The owners treated us like family... Very sweet and attentive.
I would recommend Elli Marina time and time again!

My wife and I had a fantastic time. Rooms were comfortable, very clean and fully air-conditioned. The owners were very friendly making us us feel at home from day one.
Their outdoor pool -Barracuda- was marvellous, the music great and the service at the snack bar excellent.
Everything was close-by. The beach, the village, Achilleon museum, the Sea museum, numerous restaurants and taverns, bars and cafes and of course the town of Corfu. I definitely recommend to anyone who wants to get their monies worth.
