Banos Apartments and Studios are set in their own gardens with large lawned area. We have our own swimming pool, childrens pool and bar, offering cold drinks and snacks. Banos is situated at the end of a lane off the main street of Roda and is very quiet as there is no through traffic, yet within a 2 - 3 minute walk you are in the main resort with all the Tavernas, Bars, mini markets. i love it there roy, margret, lou, tony and bethan miss you all already. i have been 5 times in the past 3 years and im going again in september i love it roda rocks and roys food is ace :-D

This is our second time in Roda, this time we stayed at the Banos Apartments These apartments are well kept and clean. The position is perfect, close to everything but peaceful and quiet at night. Margaret and Roy obvisously take pride in the Banos apartments. On arrival there is tea, coffee, milk and bottled water in your appartment so you can have a drink whatever time you arrive. The pool area is lovely and clean, plenty of sunbeds and unberellas. Very good sized pool. Because there are only 12 apartments the pool was never really busy which was lovely and relaxing. Rhoda radio (in English) is played in the background. The pool bar is continuously staffed and everyone is very freindly. The facilities are typical for Greece, a kettle, two burner stove with grill and oven, fridge. Plenty of wardrobe space, another chest of drawers would have been helpful. The rooms are quite spacious although the bathrooms are small. The constant hot water and the water pressure are great. We would definately stay here again.
The best place to eat is 'The Kind Hearted Place'. The food and staff are fantastic. The best bar in Roda is the Roda Tavern. Really fun place with quizes, killer pool, good music and really freindly and relaxed. Chips will also put a request on Roda radio if you ask nicely!

Roda is a superb blend of Greek hospitality and English familiarity. I really don't get how people don't like Roda unless they expected Benidorm or Ibiza style holidays.
This is the friendliest small little village you will ever experience. Alex and Sarah in Crusoe’s bar on the front are lovely people along with George opposite in the fish restaurant, who is a right character.
As for the Banos, the Pool and surrounding area are spotless; the pool is like a Jacuzzi and gets warmer throughout the day- it's like a bath in the afternoon. Beautiful location and great eating places throughout.
Compass bar (Spiros) is superb and cheap. Don't expect too much of Roda as far as beauty is concerned but it just has that magical relaxed atmosphere which compensates.
I hope it doesn't get too much more 'English' as it just has the right blend at the moment.
I feel like this is my second home and I've only been twice, 3 times this year.
If you want a quiet relaxing friendly holiday then Banos and Roda are perfect.

We arrived in the early hours of the morning and Margaret was there to greet us and to show us to our studio. A welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk and water in the fridge was provide for us and was very welcome after the journey.
The pool and bar area was spotless and Roy did the cooking his big breakfast are delicious, he will cook your meal to your liking and you don’t have to have what is set on the menu. Louise there daughter is very friendly and very funny she kept us laughing with all her antics she gets up to!
The rooms are kept spotless by Jane the cleaner and linen is changed twice a week. The gardens that these apartments are set in are lovely clean and tidy lawns and the children can play a game of football if they wish to.
All in all we had a lovely holiday and were pleased we chose these apartments over any others to stay at.
