We have visited Cornwall many times and usually stayed at farm cottages. They have all been very good, but Wooldown is certainly the best we have found. The cottages are second to none, the conversions and renovations go way beyond the accepted standards, with fixtures and fittings etc. of really high quality, along with the quality of workmanship. The setting and position of the farm is perfect, peace and quiet yet minutes from the coast, with the town of Bude to cater for more or less everything one needs. The owners are so pleasant and helpful that it is impossible to find fault with anything.

Our family had a wonderful time at Wooldown Farm, situated near the town of Bude in North Cornwall.
We visited Widemouth Bay with our children nearly every day during our stay, it was ideal only being 2 miles from our cottage. The cottage was very clean and was well equipped. The owners were very helpful and friendly.
We booked online on the website which was very easy to use.
We are definitely planning next years stay at Wooldown again.

Have just returned from a wonderful holiday at Wooldown farm. The family who run the cottages were very friendly but not intrusive. Accomodation was lovely, everything you could need and more, they also provided us with high chair, stair gate and a cot....taking away any hassle for us! Plenty of parking also provided. The views are breath taking and you have a short 10 minute walk into Marhamchurch that has a shop, a pub (which welcomes children) and a play area. Further afield you can explore Cornwall-Padstow is well worth a visit...the beach is fantastic for little ones (when the tide is out and you can get to it!!).
We all really enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon.
