" awful  "

i went to les rois mages with my school and was very dissapointed with the accommodation.
we arrived around mid day and were allowed to our rooms within an hour, we thought that an hours wait was very reasonable. however when we got into our rooms to our horror we found our rooms barely cleaned, there was crumbs all over the bathroom floor, dirty linen, chewing gum down side of the beds and stains on the wall and this was in only one of the 12 rooms. the rest of the rooms had many different problems ranging from blood on the walls to mould growing in the rooms.
frequent times we noticed the food delivered was out of date, and many dinners were barely edible!
to top this off there was not one friendly member of staff throughout our stay. manager in particular was extremely rude and lazy.
worst place i have ever stayed.
wouldnt wish this on my worse enemy.

Advice: skiing was very good!

" It was Fantastic!!! "

I went with school this year and i loved it! The food was very good we had breakfast lunch and dinner. It was very easy to get to the slopes as the chairlifts and the ski school were right across the road. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunatley the only downer was that the only plug in our room wasn't working we reported it a number of times but at the end of the week it wasnt fixed so we had to use the plug socket outside of our room. I would recemomend this to my friends next year if they would like to go skiing. Thankyou for a very nice time!

Advice: That it is a very nice place to ski with lots of friendly people

Activities: Well we only went skiing fro 4 hours of the day and didnt go out much but the views were beautiful

Although I contracted food poisoning from the food, and was sleeping in a bunk bed, I found it reasonably good service. The staff were kind, and extremely helpful during my illness

" The hotel is in an excellent... "

The hotel is in an excellent location, right opposite lifts and ski school. Rooms are rather basic with bunk beds and/or single beds of same size. Separate toilet and bathroom in room. Plenty of hot water but shower head loose and tended to aim itself at wall. Food good with choice of starter, sometimes choice of main and always a vegetarian option. House wine 10 Euro a bottle. English manager and staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel bar has English TV and table football.

When I stayed there, the hotel was mostly occupied by two English school groups who were rather noisy at times.

For free Wi-Fi, go up the road to Le Graal bar.

" I was part of a group of 10... "

I was part of a group of 10 (including 2 children under 13) and we all had a fantastic time. The hotel was clean, the food was good and the staff were very helpful, relaxed and friendly.

The hotel bar/cafe is fairly quiet in the evening but if we were in the mood for somewhere a bit lively, Le Graal is only a couple of mins walk up the road.

The location of the hotel is perfect. Just cross the road, put on your skis and get on the lift. Ski school is also very close by. We were lucky to get fantastic conditions which enabled the five beginners in our group to learn to ski quickly.

Four of our party had to head home a day early due to a family matter and Equity did everything they could to make this as easy and trouble free as possible.

All in all, we had a great time with Equity. So much so that we've booked to return to Montgenevre with them next week!

" DON'T go there!!
Flying into... "

DON'T go there!!
Flying into Turin with First Choice was, as usual, a nightmare with poor check in and delays.

This was our fourth and last time with Equity Ski. For the first two days of our holiday we had no curtain for the French windows by the bed!! When we did get one it was a very small one held up with string to protect our modesty!

The hotel was dreadfully run and managed. We actually felt sorry for the young staff until we were woken by one of the girls and two boys running screaming through the village at 4.30am! The young staff looked permanently hung over and even the rep reeked of drink in the mornings. They hadn't been taught the first things about cleaning rooms or waiting tables. Most evenings some of our party had finished while others on the same table were waiting to be served. Almost every meal was cold. The man who appeared in charge was very rude to three members of our party on separate occasions when we were simply trying to clarify confusions, of which there were more than enough.

The area manager at least listened politely to us and tried to help but this hotel seemed to have been provided for one giant staff jolly and not the paying guests. Our group holiday cost over £12,000 and was not value for money.

On the positive side the hotel was warm with comfortable new beds and clean linen. The village, scenery and skiing were all great.

To round out holiday off in style we were delayed over two hours flying home and a suitcase was ruined but we were unable to claim as it was torn!

" The hotel was outstanding! It was a... "

The hotel was outstanding! It was a ski trip holiday and the hotel entrance was less than 20 ft away from the slopes! The hotel had balcony on all the front facing rooms which provided an amazing view of the rich French mountains, the food in the hotel was a large variety with different options every day, if you did not want to eat in the hotel you could easily and cheaply eat elsewhere, surrounding the hotel is a beautiful village with gift shops, small general shops and the best pizza in the world! The facilities in the hotel were fantastic each room had its own toilet, bath and shower and a maximum of five beds per room. Staff were excellent always asking if everything was ok, cleaners would come in every day twice and make your beds, Hoover, empty bins etc.

The staff were very friendly and spoke clear English to all.

As far as we were aware there were no buses running in a 2 mile radius but this was not a major problem as all shops and restaurants were extremely easily accessed in less than 5 minutes.
