Have just come back from Noelia Sur hotel in Playa Las Americas. Had champagne waiting for us. Had a wonderful holiday with the hotel and staff excellent. Had a pool view, large airy room, good maid service, cannot fault anything. Food was good, manageress greeted us every day. Had Santa up in the rooms throwing sweets out to the children on Xmas day, nice touch.
Had trouble hiring a car because it was Xmas?? Was let down by the car hire in hotel reception, they phoned the morning we were meant to get the car to say we couldn't have it! We had waited 3 days for it so I was not happy, the lady was not in the least bit helpful, that was the only blip of the holiday.
Would recommend getting away for Xmas as everyone was happy, relaxed, smiling rather than misery in Britain!

Hotel was clean but reception weren't too helpful. The rooms were slightly cramped but ok as mostly we spent time by the pool or out and about.
The resort itself is geared up for clubbers, luckily we went at the end of the season so we missed the worst of it. However there are some fab places to see out of resort and hiring a car can be worth it if you want to escape the noise!
The hotel pool is lovely and clean and the staff are friendly. Mr Motivator (our pet name for him) was a bit overbearing but the main tactic is just to ignore him. It’s his job to get people to join in, but being firm with him on the first couple of days seemed to work well!
The food is ok. Nothing outstanding and the wind is slightly pricey but for half board it’s ok.
Generally a good hotel. There was nothing outstanding about it, but at least it looked a bit better than some of the other places we pulled up to on the way there!

Having previously read the comments about this hotel I could not properly make my mind up.
However, both my wife and myself had 11 days in a hotel which was marked as 4 star. Well for the majority of services it came up to the mark, but on food, it certainly did not.
I would not give it a star on food. Some who read this, and have probable been here, may not agree but we heard at least 20 other comments in the hotel from all nationalities about the poor quality of food. Breakfast was very good to be fair, but evening meals left a lot to be desired.
It's a good hotel with first class staff and support. There's a brilliant roof top terrace with two small pools and plenty of beds, plus toilets and a bar, in mid season. (Also a nudist area which is sectioned off for those who like this sort of thing).
The pool area and sun terrace on the ground floor is big and fairly spacious. Rooms are very good with all facilities.
We enjoyed the stay but once again would have to recommend a big improvement in meals before returning.

We booked our holiday well in advance and were looking forward to it all year - as it was for our 1st wedding anniversary.
On arriving we thought wow this looks well posh! We were very sleepy as we arrived during the night. We waited for 30 mins until we were even spoken to by the receptionist. Then to be told they had no record of us. After an hour of hassle he finally found record of us on a piece of paper that was if front of him all along.
The Rooms were very nice had big mirrors and very spacious. If you like to lay in on a morning this hotel is no good. The maids will make as much noise as they can to get you up after 9.30 which is a killer if you have been drinking all night.
We did see a cockroach in our room on our 10th night but other than that it was very clean.
The head waiter never smiles even if you say hello he will just walk straight past you.
The Food is so bad we felt sick even thinking about it. Eel kebabs yuck!!!! But what ever floats your boat.
Pool area was 5* could always get a sun bed and was very quiet up the top end.
We had friends stay in the Vulcarno just down the street and I would recommend that hotel over this anytime there food was very nice and we were always very welcomed when we went down there.

I stayed at Noelia Sur with my partner and I have to say I was not impressed. The hotel was clean but the staff particularly the guy at the pool that organizes the games was very rude and insisted a number of times on calling us lazy because we would not participate I mean we went for a rest not to be insulted.
Also the food was terrible so we were glad we didn’t go for dinner. We had to hire an iron and ironing board which cost 40 euro I think for a 4 star hotel you would expect one to be in your room.
The noise was ongoing and we got no sleep at all. We would not recommend this hotel at all so steer clear.

Noelia Sur Hotel looks good and most staff friendly. Evening meal was in 2 sittings and very strict. They do not open the door until the exact time or later. Tables very close together and you have to push past people sat eating to go to the buffet. Food was ok but if you a bit late down not a lot left. Rooms ok but nothing special, cleaned daily, sheets changed after 5 days. Lots of Spanish there and seamed to get better treated than we did. Have been to this hotel before in 2001, but would not go again.

On first impressions, our hotel was absolutely stunning. We were immediately pleased with our choice of accommodation. Only negative was that we were expected to pay a £100 deposit per room on arrival, and we were unaware of this.
This was then used as a tab, for the use of our safe and drinks with meals. (Drinks were hugely overpriced though so I would recommend buying a bottle from the supermarket and drinking before meals.)
Orange juice in the morning was free, although watered down and horrid. So we didn’t drink that! Other than that food was delicious. Very good variety and quality!
We were on the third floor with pool view, which was so nice! Room was thoroughly cleaned everyday, although they didn’t change bed sheets once!
Pool is excellent, good size, although life guard is a little too strict on diving jumping and inflatables! If you want a sun bed I would get to the pool at bout 10 to 9 as the queue gets enormous and it’s honestly like wacky races!!
The best thing about this hotel is the location, go to the nightclub strip starkos! It is the best! Very friendly and safe! Do not go to veronicas! We were strongly advised against this place, and we know why! People got bottled and mugged etc! Not very nice! DJ's like hed kandi and judge jules play weekly at starkos it’s excellent.
I recommend you go to tramps and rags! Best night out ever! Also immediately on your left as you leave the hotel is an English pub called the George! Go there, the people are so nice and drinks are cheap!
We are going back next year! It was the best holiday ever!!

There was just me and my boyfriend, we got there about 5 in the evening. The transfer was very good but broke down on the way home and we had to get taxis which were paid for by First Choice cos I don't think anybody would've paid for it anyway.
When we arrived you could either have a glass of orange or champagne but we just had orange as the champagne wasn't open. Took about 5 mins to get our room key, the room was nice but quite small for a 4 star as when you look at the photos they make them look bigger than they are, they must be up against the wall when they took it lol.
The food was gorgeous, most stuff was the same but still variety if you get me, your drinks are not free not even your first one.
The air conditioning is absolutely crap, I told them at the reception and the said they couldn't turn it up because it made such a noise as it says in some off the others so I wasn't happy with that either so it was hot on a night which was awful.
It seems like I hated this holiday but I loved it, it was great weather the waiters in the restaurant were great and was always smiling. You couldn't put your towels on the beds before 9 but the catch was you had to be there at 9 to get one, but breakfast finishes at 10 anyway so we was always up.
They had activities on during the day, the person who runs it though wont ask you if you want to play waterpolo though if your either a size 0 or have a 6 pack so a lot of people just played anyway and just ignored him and it was good fun even though it got a bit competitive and rough at times.
It is worth going, it was just the rooms I was just a bit disappointed but we didn't really spend much time in it anyway. But I don't no whether I'd go again but its undecided it was just awful being so hot on a night and thats why I went to a 4 star hotel though to get good air conditioning!

I travelled with my four sons, one of whom is a wheelchair user.
We found all staff at Noelia Sur extremely helpful. Anything I requested was dealt with immediately.
Hotel was very clean and food choice was varied although we did eat out, just for a change, the cafe by the mini-golf was great, the waiters were very friendly.
The beach at Los Cristianos was accessible so we all enjoyed the beach together. The sand is so hot you couldn’t walk barefoot.
Our trip to the Aqua park was worth it for the dolphin show but the food was awful and the staff totally unhelpful.
This was our first trip to Tenerife and we would return again. The access for wheelchairs was very good and although the pavements were not the cleanest.
The overall impression of the resort and lovely hotel and helpful staff would make me book again. You can hire fans from the reception, we did.

As soon as I arrived at the hotel, I was made to feel welcome by the amazing staff!
We were given complimentary drinks and lead up to our beautiful rooms! Marble flooring and gorgeous decor, immediately made it feel 4 star!
Rooms spacious and comfy, good view of pool, and the staff also phone and ask whether your room is ok and if you would like to change or not.
All the pools were lovely and big and clean many sunbeds to choose from. Brilliant hotel for nightlife, turn left out of hotel and you are in the middle of the town full of clubs, bars and restaurants and the two beaches on the right are gorgeous!
Lots to do and I would definitely recommend going to the aqua park it is good value and well worth the trip!
I couldn’t fault this hotel at all! Me and my friends loved it and we are planning to go again in October!

Me and my boyfriend have just come back from our 10 day stay at Noelia Sur, as soon as we arrived in Tenerife the people were extremely helpful and the sun was red hot!
Our first impressions of the Hotel were impressive, marble floors in the reception and really helpful staff; there were also free drinks available for new guests of either champagne or lemonade.
Our room was kept clean everyday with fresh towels. The pool was great with loads of sun beds so people are not fighting to get them, also you cannot put your towel on the beds until after 9am.
The Hotel is in the centre of Las Americas, if you go right out the Hotel it takes you straight down to the beach (there are also lots of places to eat there) and if you go left that’s where all the bars and restaurants are.
There is plenty to do on the holiday like 'Loro Parque, Aqua park, Quad biking, Boat Trips to see Whales and Dolphins and loads more, (you can book all of these in loads of local shops they are advertised all over).
I would definitely recommend Noelia Sur and hopefully we will be returning in the near future.

it great...i loved this hotel.....
i didnt reali no what to expect as i was going for a relaxing holiday with afew family members...but it was great...
the hotel itself is very clean and the food is to die for. every night they have a different theme of food so it suits all culture.
the room itself is very basic but clean and i only realised on th last few days that there was a great view on top of th hotel ,great for pictures .
the hotel staff speak good english although sometimes i found them rude.
the night life was good nothing mad but was ok...there was afew bars right beside the hotel , my faviourite was the gorge best bar they played loads of games each night and there was alot of sing songs.
there was great bars n resturant near such as th chiefton, it was great and your very own english suppermarket (spar)
o n did i meantion th class off liesences that sold really cheap drink and cigs and its only a 3minute walk. for example i bought a liter bottel of vodka for 9euros was for nothing!!
the shops which is a cheap taxi away are great i came home with loads of clothes and the jwelery is to die for.
althought this part of tenerife is deffently for the more easy going, relaxd, family type.
i was 18 when i went and although i enjoyed it very much i wouldnt go back with a group of my friends as id be looking for more livly resort. but in sayin that its a beautiful hotel and very clean and your beside evrything.
