Golf Park Apartments, Golf Del Sur
On Tenerife, the island of the eternal spring, in the middle of the Golf del Sur resort, 4 km away from the Reina Sofia Airport and 10 km from Playa de las Americas, you will find the apartments Green Park. Apart from the 3 swimming pools, 1 of which is a childrens pool heated in winter, you will find a multifunctional court, tennis court, bowls, table tennis and the opportunity to join the different golf courses on the south of the island. Just had a week at Fairways - nice place, apartments could do with a re-vamp though. Bit grotty in places, especially the bathroom. The Island Pool bar is excellent for a snack and the women who work in there are really nice and definitely deserve a mention. Bit too crowded for me, loads of kids and if you wanted a sunbed, you had be standing in a spot at 8.30am waiting on the man taking the chains off the sunbeds at 9.00am. Signs are up all over the place about not reserving sunbeds, but no-one takes a blind bit of notice. We ended up having to do the same.
If you don't mind the planes flying above your heads (you are on the flight path), it is a nice area to stay.
Definitely worth visiting is San Blas - the restaurants are excellent, especially the Italian one, with the guy standing outside practically reading the menu from memory. Food is excellent in there.

Being a single mum traveling abroad for the first time I must admit I was slightly nervous, but I shouldn't have been. The apartments were great, and as for the staff they couldn't have been more helpful.
Booking day excursions and helping out in every way possible. Evening entertainment was very limited at the resort, but a short walk along the road took us to San Blas (about a mile) a lovely little village full of bars and restaurants catering for all your needs. I felt very welcomed at all the places we visited. And am even thinking about going back next year!!
Highly recommended to the first time traveler. I couldn't have asked for a better holiday.

Apartments were more like 4* accommodation, with marble staircases and tasteful furniture, really good value for money! Very clean with two bathrooms! (Downstairs is wc and shower) .The location was ok, a bit of trek to get into town though. The view from one balcony was of a car-park and graffiti, but the other balcony looked out on a golf course. Good facilities, nice pool, nice place! Safety deposit boxes were available in reception. Good bus service from just outside the apartments every hour. Overall very pleased, excellent value for money!

We stayed at the Golf Park Apartments in April. it was excellent and we are going back on the 20th June. the apartments are excellent clean and very spacious beautifully furnished and well equipped the only fault was there is no bar facilities, but a hypermarket just along the road so not to much of a problem.
