Glaros Hotel

We moved to the Glaros Hotel on the 3rd day of our stay in Ornos from the Eva (sic) Hotel for reasons explained in that review.
The Glaros is a very pleasant place to stay. The owner made a point of asking every day if there was anything wrong or if we needed anything extra.
It’s about 100 yards from the beach / village. Super bars etc on the beach. Try ‘Orno Cafe Bar’. A little ‘up-market’ but really well worth it. The ‘bus-stop bar is another great little place. Bus service? One an hour (ish).
I can recommend especially the Lefteris Grill, specialises in grilled/roast meats, which it does very well indeed. (Meal for 2; starters, main, wine (you won’t need much more than the main) averaged 20€).
2 supermarkets, one at the crossroads just outside the village and one on the ‘main’ street; both well stocked with ( main street) really helpful staff
At the Glaros the bathrooms were a little small, only a shower and you could only use it with the curtain open, or risk being smothered in plastic....
It (the Hotel) boasts a superb salt water pool, a pool bar, (closed), a restaurant, (closed), room service, (not available), satellite TV, ( no English channels).
All this said, we had a very pleasant holiday. In fact I’m going back in September.
