Me and my 2 mates went to Marmaris for our first proper lads holiday and after reading a few reviews on here I thought it may only be for families and couples but it totally isn’t, at club Atrium there’s something for absolutely every one!
We tended not to stick to the hotel too much at night but often got back for the last hour at bar Cuba which by then is really buzzing with lots of drunken crazy Brits. If there are any groups of mates going to Marmaris I would recommend the bars on the beach, bar x, turtle bar and lots more but the best for a good fish bowl is salt and peppa (lots of strong alcohol) and well worth its 50lira.theres also bar street but that’s around 9 lira a efes compared to 5lira on the beach bars.
The beach clubs tend to get busy at around 11-12 were as bar street tends to get busy much later.
The food in the hotel is good and cheap and efes in the hotel is only 3.50 lira which is really cheap. We tended not to watch the hotel entertainment as we hate quite late but they seemed to always be loads watching so I presume it must be good.
Through the day the entertainment and games are great and they really is something for everyone from pool games to surf board fighting and lots more
All I can say is were back next year so roll on 2008.

Where do we start? Just back from a wk at the Atrium. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome nothing too much trouble. The staff were excellent, Sex Bomb what a legend party party and more party. Ozzy looked out for us all and made sure our girls were safe and always went the extra mile. We didn’t go outside the complex as there was always something going on. Food and entertainment at the Havana bar excellent. Have to mention Katie who entertained us with karaoke brilliant show and up for any thing. Already booking for next year can’t wait. Best holiday ever.

My friend and I, aged 21 and 20 (who works for a travel company and booked the holiday), went to Marmaris on 25/6/07. Upon arriving at Club Atrium we thought it looked nice to say it was a cheap deal. However it was clear to see that the men working there and around the surrounding area liked hounding (there’s no other word for it!) British women, especially ones who were there without men.
When we were taken to our room we were disappointed even though yes, it was cheap, but may I add NOT cheerful! The carpet had iron burns on it; the beds (2) had one pillow each which were about 3ins thick (we were told no more were available). Also our shower/bath was square and about half a metre in depth, the head of which just gave out a dribble of water and could not be detached from the wall which made showering very difficult! We just presumed all rooms were like this, until we visited friends in the Self catering part of Club Atrium; they had a good sized room and a ‘proper’ walk-in shower! Also whilst we stayed in Club Atrium the temperature reached over 54 degrees so we had to pay for air-conditioning. Luckily in the hotel part of Club Atrium this lasted your whole stay but in the self catering part it only lasted for around 20 hours.
The worst thing about our room however was the fact that the bathroom had a nasty smell of human faeces when we arrived! My friend told this to the rep who wasn't very helpful at all (she just asked if we were sure & said she’d check which she didn’t) and the only person who did help was a cleaner who put urinal tablets in the sink and toilet to fragrance the room!
Despite the above we decided to make the most of our holiday and the fact of the matter was we were only going to be in the room whilst sleeping (not very often) and getting ready to go out. During the mornings/afternoons, we spent most of the time by the pools which were decent. However Ozzy (a member of staff) often went around with a megaphone shouting into people’s ears who were trying to relax or sleeping, which not many people found funny, more plain rude! I'd say many of the staff at Club Atrium are pests as opposed to entertainers (but I guess some people like that). For instance my friend was once sunbathing on her front in which another man working there tried to draw on her leg and touch her with ice, she didn't hold back and ending up being very annoyed with him and complained to the manager!
There's also a strict policy in Club Atrium (When not self catering) that you don't take food or drink bought out of the grounds into your room or near the poolside. I think this is pathetic as all that was provided food wise was B&B which wasn't great (olives, salami, conserves and bread). Due to this, many of us were "told off" with the megaphone for having bottles of pop and snacks besides us when near the pool which were bought at a (cheap) local shop!
Whilst at Club Atrium we talked to many people older and younger than ourselves and the majority of them had negative things to say but not all. One couple explained how they were self catering yet when they arrived to their room there was no hob or refrigerator, now what's that all about? The people who did enjoy there stay seemed to do so due to the entertainment on offer for children mainly.
Basically I’d say if you want a cheap holiday go to Club Atrium and it will deliver just that. However if you want a half decent room then go towards to harbour/seafront as the people who stayed their (we talked to some during our transfer) were a lot happier! If you do still choose Club Atrium like we did after reading all the great reviews then I’d definitely recommend you go self catering as the breakfast isn't appetising and the rooms were not great when in the B&B part of Club Atrium either.
I liked Marmaris and the great nightlife, however all over this resort you will be pestered (whilst just walking around) to buy things and go into bars (it can be scary and intimidating when alone). I will go back to Marmaris at some point but I WILL NOT be staying at Club Atrium, once was enough for me.

Stayed in the apartments room 101 on ground floor with a 2 yr old child.
Initially very disappointed with the overall standard of the room but we arrived around midnight and were too tired to complain about it. Clean and functional but small and very basic with seating a bit grubby looking.
We booked the holiday as a late deal over the phone and were excited when they said the complex was excellent for children and had a children's club. We stayed around the pool and local marmaris area for first 3-4 days of holiday and to be honest were very disappointed with our choice.
The hotel was very loud, and had almost exclusively loud English holidaymakers, JMC umbrellas over the sunbed by the pool, loud nightclubs and bars right outside our window with boom boom boom music starting at 8pm till 2-3am most nights.
Having a Rottweiler dog tied up & barking in the evening outside our window didn’t help either but only happened a couple of nights thankfully. Not so hot when you have a 2 year old!
We thought we had a booked a cheap deal but by the time you added on the cost of hiring air conditioning, a fan (air con was a con!) and a hotel safe, and the cost of some daily tours (which albeit were quite good) it was expensive for the standard of what we got.
When we expressed disappointment with the complex with the rep on day 1, we were told this was a good standard for Turkey in general and we should consider ourselves lucky to be staying here, as some other places were awful.
The complex is very good if you like lots of English type food and music, but it felt a bit like an expensive trip to butlins with lovely weather! The pools were lovely but when we read the guest comments book there had been a spate of ear infections recently possibly due to the pool water.
The saving grace for the complex was most definitely the amazingly kind and helpful staff.
Luckily we discovered trips to areas outwith of marmaris area and went for the last 3 days of our holiday and ended up loving Turkey. We just unfortunately landed up in the wrong resort and wrong apartments for the kind of holiday we like.
We would recommend if you are looking for a traditional unspoilt Turkish holiday experience, don’t go here. Choose somewhere like Dalyan or Fethiye
On the plus side, we stayed well throughout the holiday!

Me and my boyfriend just got back from turkey on Monday the 10th had a fantastic time would highly recommend Marmaris to everyone! The club atrium was fabulous for a fun holiday all the staff were great, Ozzy on reception, sexbomb(tea time), abs, ebo and all the rest!
Our flight was 3rd September didn’t arrive at hotel until 7am on the 4th not nice! But had a great first day! The breakfast selection is a bit odd if you don’t like eggs your stuck with bread only downside!
Very lively! Lovely and clean lovely pool area great for kids and families.
Rooms are small but clean and air con is £20 worth paying for as it gets hot!
Marmaris centre about a ten min walk not far, lots of bars on the way down. Have to mention Mascot twin brothers own it their called September and October lovely guys, great food as well.
Don’t buy any perfume they will spray the real one on you and then give you a bottle filled of water. But everything else is great value for money.
For anyone who enjoys the nightlife you must go down bar street! We met 2 friends jade and jack great people they took us down bar street and we had such a laugh well worth a visit!
We had a fantastic time going back next year! The hotel was great!

This hotel was big but the pool and facilities was too undersized for the hotel.
The staff there were indifferent, they were happy if you tipped them for drinks, for food, for cleaning, but if you don't then they don't expect to do their jobs, serve you last at the bar, take your orders after a lengthy wait and a lengthier wait for your food
That said, the score is dragged up to a 6 by the entertainers. They are there from around 10am till 4am when the onsite bar/club shuts. They have bags of energy, always smiling and always willing to join your fun and games, like throwing them in the pool and soaking them with a water pistol
There were two pools and they were really nice and clean but the lack of room next to the pool meant there was little space to walk around, plus cannon balling resulted in a fair few disgruntled people
All in all the hotel is great, the pool area is too, the bar and restaurant doesn't fit all the people in during the 2 hours for breakfast and dinner but the entertainment is great and makes up partly!

My boyfriend and I arrived back from our holiday at Club Atrium on Saturday (now Wednesday) we had such an amazing time, we couldn’t have asked for more. It was our first holiday together and was ideal.
I loved Marmaris, despite being a bit weary about what I had heard before I went, the men aren’t creepy or anything it was great.
We stayed in the hotel and had bed and breakfast, it was a Turkish breakfast which was really healthy and they even did omelettes which were delicious, however you could pay for full English if you wanted and that was only £1, which we did most days.
Like most other comments on here about the staff they are all great and do so much to make sure you have a great holiday and it definitely works. Mustaffa and Jack are just hilarious and got on worth me and my boyfriend very well.
We bought Air con for £20 it lasted us one of our two weeks but was worth it, and as we had late flights we were allowed our room for an extra few hours for£15, which wasn't bad.
We went to the beach everyday and loved it there we always went to the same bar "uno momento" as they wait hand and foot on you, they really made our holiday as the staff were so funny!
The entertainment at the hotel was great and the food was delicious, the break dancers and Michael Jackson’s are well worth seeing.
We really want to go again in October so fingers crossed!!!

This was my first holiday away with my two best friends and it was amazing! We loved everything about it! The flight times were a bit rubbish. Just as we arrived at the hotel at about 5 am and were shattered. But we got a keys slept for 2 hours n got back up for breakfast and the pool!
The first day we were made to feel really welcome! The waiters are brilliant, the fact some are good looking is a bonus! The pool was really nice and clean. I also liked how all the waiter came round to talk or check everything was ok or if you wanted a drink. Us girls being rather lazy (especially me) I really enjoyed it!
The food was lovely in the Havana! Really enjoyed it. We ate there every night as it was free and the entertainment was free also! Bargin. The Cuba bar across the road was also good fun after eating and the entertainment at the Havana finished it carried on over there! The atmosphere was fun and we went there pretty much every night! Then going on the night clubs on a couple of occasions!
The rooms were clean, small but there was enough room for us so no complaints! The towels and beds were made into cute shapes on the bed every time the room was cleaned! The balcony view made me laugh though. It was a back of stall and some trees! Luckily we didn’t spend a whole lot of time out there so I didn’t really mind!
I love all the staff. Ha-ha I have to mention them, ferdi is the best customer care anything we needed he would get for us and would go out of the way to get us anything we needed. The receptionists were always friendly when we rolled in any time from 5am - 7.30am! The waiters we all great especially mustapha and jack! They were so funny! Also abs as he was the first to speak to us on our first day! And smile!! And all the other staff in the hotel! They made our holiday so special!
We are coming back next year with out any doubt! Looking forward to seeing u all again!!

I’ve been to Marmaris a silly amount of times but this year was by far the very best!!!
I’ve stayed in Club Atrium lots of times before but with all the new staff and new little bits it makes it even better than I thought it could have been!
I came with my two best friends Emma and Becci and we all had an amazing time! I want to mention Ferdi, Mustapha at customer care, Jack, Abs, Smile, the man on reception whose name I never found out but who was lovely and all of the staff of Atrium and Havana you made our holiday even more special!
Thank you so much for being so brilliant at everything!!! And thank you to the Manager of the hotel who also gave us that little bit extra!
We will be back again next year without fail, look forward to seeing all of you!!

One word - amazing! 7th time to Turkey, 6th time to Marmaris, first time to club Atirum, loved it. Everything about it was great. Going back in October hopefully. All the staff are great, Ozzy, Jack, Abs, Orhan, Veysi, Musti and Sexbomb!
Just to name a few! Jessica of the bingo is amazing too! The entertainment is great although the karaoke becomes a bit too much, although Katie is hilarious!! So funny! And selim seems to be quite boring, does he ever sing?
We had a large crew but were staying in different hotels. We all ended up at atrium after a good old night out though! Waiting for the key in the box! I was so close!! Never realised I had the ticket!!! Was stuck behind another strip of raffles!! £900 down the drain!! Shame but are well! I will be back in the very very near future!!! Believe me!!!

Just got back from a great holiday at the club atrium, we stayed in the bed and breakfast part of the hotel and our room was fantastic the only bad thing I can say is that there is no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, that is the only negative point I can make.
The room was cleaned every day and was immaculate. The food was nice but there are lots of excellent places to eat nearby if you fancy a change. There are two nice size pools and there's always plenty going on.
The staff are great but unfortunately a few days before we were due to come home Ozzy (entertainment) left after a row with management but hopefully he will be back as the place is quiet without him!
All in all a good holiday.

Me and my boyfriend have just got back from Club Atrium. We booked it three days before we went, I was a bit weary about going to Turkey from things we'd had heard, but as it was so last minute we couldn't be picky.
However, our experience in Turkey is nothing like what we had heard, as we had an amazing time and this was definitely our best holiday so far.
Our room was nice enough. We were in the older building and the decoration didn't seem as nice as the newer building - however, the facilities were great.
On the first day we went to the beach (as usually I'm a beach person and like to spend most of the days there rather than the pool), and although we had heard it was shingle we weren't quite prepared for what it was like. It was three sunbeds wide and was more fine gravel than shingle, and when you went to go into the sea the floor was all rocky and had big stones that hurt your feet - it wasn't until you got to about waist deep that it turned to sand. Plus when you go to get a sunbed, the men tell you they are free, however, you really have to buy drinks from their bars (we even got told to put our carrier bag full of drinks away, so that there was no possibility of us drinking them instead).
So, instead of going to the beach each day - we spent it by the pool. I'm so glad that we did, because it was amazing. We made friends with so many people that were on holiday as well and also the staff. They come round and take your orders for food and drink while your lay sunbathing - so you don't even have to walk to the bar! There's also games like waterpolo, water basketball and surfboard games that my boyfriend joined in on and thoroughly enjoyed. Tea time is hilarious and has definitely become a catch phrase.
At night time we tended to eat at Havana (the restaurant owned by the same people as the hotel) as the food was really good and cheap (plus it was hard to find any where else to eat, as everyone hassles you to go in which puts your off), but we also at the the Friendly Bar which was next to it and very nice (the staff were slightly weird though) and at the chinese next to it (which was absolutely amazing, my favourite meals there).
Being a young couple - we thought the night time entertainment in Havana wouldn't be for us. But we were wrong, it was hilarious. Our favourite shows were probably the Michael Jackson dancers (who we saw out on Bar Street one night) and the Brake Dancers; but the best night by far was the karaoke nights - as Katie and Selim are amazing (we saw Katie by the pool a lot and she was such a nice person, and so funny). Some of the shows are boring - such as the whirling twirling something or others (men spinning round in dresses for about an hour). So, most nights we tended to watch the entertainment there and then go to Bar Cuba (owned by the same person who owns the hotels and Havana) which tended to be a bit cheesy at first, but once it got to about one or two it started to play better music. It was busy every single night we went, and the fact families are allowed in doesn't ruin it at all.
A few nights we went down to the beach front or to bar street - but to be honest, it was better staying in Bar Cuba. As the prices on the beach front and down bar street are stupid (however, if your going to go to one then go to beach front cos it was better and the alcohol is cheaper, because down bar street there's quite a lot of bars and none seemed that busy and it was 10ytl for a small beer).
All of the staff are amazing. Only a few were as sleezy as everyone says the Turkish men are. Especially loved Dave and have got his number and rang him since we've been back - going to meet up for drinks.
Only complaint is that we had some stuff go missing from our room (my make-up and 40 cigarettes). We locked all valuables in a suitcase, not even trusting the safety deposit box, but we didn't realise we needed to lock away stuff like that. We did complain to customer care but we were basically told we were lying and that the cleaner was old and didn't smoke (yet I saw another young lady cleaning our room once). It wasn't a big deal though, and we just know now to lock everything in the suitcases.
We got back on Tuesday and today is Sunday and I've just booked to go back next September for two weeks!! That's how good our holiday was.
