I've just returned from a fabulous week long break at this hotel, having traveled out with a girlfriend for a relaxing sunshine holiday break. However, it proved much more than that.
The staff were excellent, can't fault any of them from the management to the pool side attendants, the cleaners, security staff, catering staff, waiters and of course the Animation team, they were all pretty wonderful people with every intention of making your holiday one to always remember - and we will.
The only reason that I've rated the holiday as 9/10 and not 10/10 is because of the limited evening entertainment. Admittedly, I wouldn't want a cabaret style Blackpool affair, but perhaps visiting local groups of entertainers, local dancers etc would have been something to look forward to given that there's nothing else outside of the hotel - except 3 other hotels down on the sea front.
The animation team did a fabulous job during the day (you've got to try Sam's water polo and Abdhule's water gym session)
The children were entertained during the early evening, kids songs and dances kept them all on the go. Afterwards, the adults were treated to 70/80's music on a rather dated sound system. Still a hoot, but then, holiday's are also what you make them yourself, and my friend Kay and I made sure we had a good dance, good laugh, good time with all the lovely people we met during our stay.
The Animation teams own evening shows were slow but quite funny, make sure you try and get to one of them.
Come on 3 Corners, get those boys a good sound system and some more up to date music (as well as the good and great older stuff) they deserve it - and the adults need it.
All the local spirits and wines (if you were all inclusive) were palatable with no restrictions. In fact, once the waiters got used to what you would order on a regular basis, they made sure you didn't have to ask for it - it just appeared.
The food was great, all healthy and enjoyable with plenty of choice. The resort itself is still under development, but the local trolley ride down to the private beach was frequent and fun. The beach is well organised with a food/drinks bar and a fresh water pool for those who don't want to brave the rugged walk into the sea.
Water world is excellent. I took myself off for a days diving on one of their modern dive boats. The sea was flat calm, the dive guide excellent and the dives colourful.
I did hear that the trips to Jerusalem and the Pyramids were well worth the journey/money. Check out the prices in the reception with a local tour operator and compare to the costs given by your rep - apparently, it's was cheaper.
We did the Dahab trip complete with a camel ride to the Blue Hole for some snorkelling, great fun and worth every penny. The camel ride itself was quite an experience and one I'm really pleased that I didn't miss. Dahab was great, not much time for shopping but they all like to haggle and if you're smart, you can get yourself some pretty good bargains.
There are shops in 3 Corners and they are all good quality stores. You can get anything from carpets to jewelry, perfumes to papyrus drawings - do make sure you visit them, they are all lovely people and very trusting, it's a pleasure to spend time with them.
You'll have a good time at 3 Corners, it's a well constructed hotel with plenty of good quality amenities, quality reps and friendly hard working staff. I guarantee you be singing 'La Bumba' for quite sometime after your visit.
Enjoy :-)

Its a bit late to post a comment but I first went to three corners in Taba in July last year, and I posted a review about it on here, and in it I mentioned I had booked to go again in September last year.
Well I went back, and as soon as I set foot in that beautiful hotel again, i was so happy to be back, you couldn’t get the smile off my face.
Once again, I had a fantastic time, the same staff were there in the restaurant, in the peanut bar, but they had a couple of new people in the animation team.
It was really great to know the staff, as they all recognised me from the last time I had been, so that really topped it off. Once again, was really sad to be back in England after the holiday. And call me boring, but I'm going back again in May this year, it seriously is just such a friendly, and exciting place, and I think is perfect for a relaxing holiday.

Last minute booking with Kwik Travel with a very good price for 1 week inclusive over the Christmas period. Arriving at the hotel we were greeted with staff singing merry Christmas & bell boys ready to assist you with your cases, quickly booked in & escorted to our room. Spacious room with cable TV & sea view(just) clean & pleasing.
Cleaners everyday to change towels & do a quick mop & tidy, tipping them 20 Egyptian which is £2, just drop of the end nought to calculate their currency. Karl our rep was helpful next morning with information on excursions etc. The hotel is 15 minutes walk to the beach down hill & 3 minute open bus ride back uphill :-). Meals were good with plenty of salady stuff, meats & a kids corner for little ones i.e. Chips & pizza etc.
Overall the meals were a healthy selection. All inclusive drinks from 10am to 12pm which is fine for me & for late drinkers 12pm+ a short is £2, be warned the shorts are strong as I had to be helped home one evening by staff after drinking until 3am.
The entertainment let the hotel down somewhat as it was amateurish to say the least but if it's a quite holiday you want with diving or snorkelling in the red sea or a quite relax next to the pool with friendly staff at hand then this is the holiday for you. Oh if you go for a winter break then don't forget your jumper for the cool evenings, I forgot mine :-(

I had two weeks in the resort of Taba , and having travelled to various places I must say that my time in Taba was without doubt the best holiday I have had.
I met many new friends there, both tourists and locals. I intend to return in the early part of 2006 and the middle of 2006. Thank you for the most wonderful holiday of my life.

Partner and I have just returned from two weeks in this resort. Fantastic. Rooms, Staff, Food great. To wake up each morning, sometimes to watch the sun rise, approx 6.20 when we were there, going on to the balcony to look over the Red Sea to Jordan and Saudi Arabia, it was amazing.
We are a retired lively couple, and met lovely families of all ages here. We selected this resort, as the evening entertainment was low key. Wherever we travel, we prefer to talk with people, whilst enjoying the all inclusive drinks, or play cards or scrabble together, in a resort bar etc.
The Red Sea was very warm, unbelievable. When the tide is out - tide movement is very marginal - you can wade out to a reef and without snorkelling gear etc. you can look into the water and see amazing fish, plus the living coral reefs. With snorkelling gear, or just goggles, you can see so much more. A word to the wise.....it is sensible to bring some form of footwear to enter the sea. There are sharp stones for approximately 15 metres when entering the sea, before you reach wonderfully smooth sand. The hotel shop sells suitable footwear for approximately six English pounds, quite reasonable.
The Beach Bar, we booked through Longwoods, provides soft drinks, tea and coffee as part of the all inclusive package. Alcoholic drinks and lunch are not included in this package and must be paid for. Alcohol is probably best left alone when swimming in the sea, but the bar lunches were very reasonably priced and appetising. You can always catch the shuttle back to the hotel for lunch....if you are so mean.... I have mentioned the non inclusive bit, as guests who booked through other companies did believe that everything was all inclusive.
We did a two day trip to Cairo for 198 US dollars each. A great trip. Pyramids, Nile, Papyrus Factory, Perfume Palace, and THE CAIRO STREET MARKET. Booked through Longwood, stayed overnight bed and breakfast at Le Meridian Hotel Cairo.....had great view of Pyramids from our Terrace. Top class hotel, highly recommend. Included also was lunch on a static boat on the Nile. Very good value for money.
Must mention the hotels Pascals restaurant, where you pay. We had a most superb meal, Flambed giant prawns, followed by one of the best Chauteaubriands we have ever enjoyed....and we have eaten in some very good restaurants in the UK. Also bought a bottle of Egyptian Red Wine, which was more than acceptable. Cost very, very reasonable. Service great.
Towards the end of our holiday, we were unfortunate enough to meet a three day arrived, middle aged English couple, who moaned about the lack of evening entertainment. They believed they were going to get a Las Vegas Caberet every night. Perhaps Blackpool would suit them. They also moaned about many other things.....
If you are seeking a resort, which offers great rooms, very nice food, peace and tranquillity go for it. If you are seeking show time every night, perhaps Blackpool.
Enjoy

22/08/05 - 05/09/05 - Wow! This was the first holiday ever, when we’ve not been ready to come home at the end of the two weeks. We can't wait to go back.
We were slightly nervous when we arrived at Taba airport, to see all the luxury coaches lined up going to other hotels, then hidden behind them a mini bus (with the luggage on the roof!) that was going to the Three Corners. However our fears were groundless.
Upon arrival your luggage is taken to reception for you, where you're greeted with a cold flannel and a refreshing drink. (This is welcome, as the temperature was still in the 30's even at night!) You're then shown to your room, don’t worry about your cases, somebody will bring them for you, (I'd suggest tipping the man that bring them about 20le) and left to relax. There’s a bottle of water in your fridge which you can refill as often as you like from the chilled containers dotted around the resort.
The rooms are beautiful, all air conditioned and spotlessly clean. Throughout your stay the housekeeping manager will check up to make sure that everything is being done to your satisfaction. We had ******** cleaning our room, and he definitely had a sense of humour, we came back to find the lamps dressed in caps and shades and messages written on the bed in petals! We tipped him each week (about 40le) and left him a pack of cigs which he was really pleased about.
The food throughout the holiday was fantastic, even though I'm vegetarian I never went hungry. The only criticism I could give though, was that the food labels weren’t always accurate, (Pasta with tomato sauce, may in fact contain minced beef!) There was always a choice of pasta and potatoes for the less adventurous along with salads, soups and freshly baked bread. I ate salad regularly and didn’t get the dreaded Pharaohs revenge so I'm assuming it was washed in bottled water. The staff in the restaurant were again brilliant, with a somewhat wicked sense of humour, and the dessert chef deserves a medal!
The pool at the hotel is excellent, and if there are no sunbeds free, the man giving out the towels will find one for you. The animation team were unobtrusive, if you didn’t want to join in they didn’t push. There is a kids club, which i understood was very good and there a few activities throughout the day (Yoga, Water Polo, Aqua Aerobics). However the entertainment is very low key and in the evenings if there is anything, it is generally over very early. Perfect for a relaxing holiday.
In the evenings we generally went in to Peanuts bar, and chatted the night away. (We tipped 20le on the first night, then at odd intervals throughout the two week.) Be warned though, the measures get bigger the busier it gets! Again the Egyptian sense of humour prevails with the staff pretending to drop glasses and having peanut fights when its quiet etc.
The pool by the beach is generally quieter, its rare for the beds all to be taken, and if you do go to the beach it's easy to jump back on to the shuttle bus and go back to the hotel for lunch if you feel like it.
The snorkelling is amazing, there is a sand bank about 30 yards out from the beach which follows the reef all the way down the coast. The variety of fish is just awe inspiring, we saw Lionfish, Turtles, Parrot fish, Eels, Trigger fish and a Crocodile fish to name just a few. If you are a keen snorkeller then I would definitely recommend the trip from Waterworld on the Henry de Monfreid. This is an all day trip which goes to Farun Island, where as well as snorkelling, for an extra fee (about £20) you can do an introductory dive. You then sail home to arrive back about 4pm.
Waterworld also offer a variety of other activities including parasailing, canoeing, pedaloes, a glass bottom boat trip (well worth the money) and various dives.
There is a variety of trips on offer from the hotel, including Cairo, Eilat, Jerusalem, Mount Sinai and a shopping trip to Dahab. These are quite expensive though, by the time you’ve added on border taxes. We didn’t bother with Dahab as we found everything we wanted at the shops behind the hotel. At the moment there are only a few (around 20) open, however there is space for more and I'd imagine that in the next few months this will become quite a nice shopping area. Whatever you do don’t forget to haggle!
There were many little touches that made this holiday special. For example my partner had his birthday while we were away, and to our surprise on the day he received a phone call from reception wishing him Happy Birthday and asking where he’d like his cake!
All in all this is an amazing holiday.

This was the best holiday I had ever been on, as you couldn’t ask for anything more to make your holiday as perfect as this one was, it was amazing!!
I’m definitely going back to Taba, three corners as soon as possible. I met so many friends and the staff were so friendly and helpful that I just didn’t want to leave. We were a bit unsure about how the night entertainment was going to be, but I have to say it was brilliant. The entertainment team were excellent - Romy, Hellmey, Figo, Moody and Trixie!! (well we called her Trixie as she was the in charge of the trixie club - kids club)
The pool is great and lots of sunbeds, although when it gets busy you need to reserve your loungers, as they normally go after 10am. They is also things to do through out the day, consisting of stretching at 10 ish, then waterpolo at 11ish, which you have to do, then aqua gym at 11.30 followed by the club dance at 12.
At first I didn’t think this would be my type of holiday as I am 18, although I couldn’t ask for more. I celebrated my 18th birthday over there, which was great as I had bongos played for me as they sang happy birthday - very nice!!
What more can I say - food was also brilliant! There is nothing I could say to criticise my stay at the Three corners Hotel, Taba.

Lovely hotel, excellent staff all very friendly - Ehmad was excellent in pool bar. All work so very hard to make your stay happy. Food was excellent too. Evening entertainment though was very poor, hotel did lack a cool air-conditioned room for evening use. As we went at the hottest time of year air-con was so important.
They had it in the main dining room but it wasn’t very effective. Drinks were very limited in variety. DO NOT DRINK EGYPTIAN WINE! All are disgusting!! Bedrooms were very nice and comfortable, air con worked well there! Security was very hot due to the recent bombings in Sharm, so we felt quite safe.
Water world was fantastic! Parasailing, banana boat, doughnuts and pedaloes were all brilliant and very reasonable. Snorkelling down at the beach was amazing. Beach bar served good food. All in all we had a fantastic holiday.
Thanks to all at the hotel.

I went to Taba in July this year, just me and my best mate for my 19th birthday, you might think its strange we didn’t go to a place with more nightlife as we are both teenagers, but we were just so fed up of England that we really wanted to have a relaxing holiday in gorgeous hot weather, fantastic views, with unbelievable sights! And I’m so glad we decided to go to Taba because it really was the best holiday I have ever been on.
We stayed at the Three Corners hotel and our first impression when we got there was that it could no way be a 3* hotel, we thought it was top quality. The rooms are lovely (we had a mountain view which was superb), the pool is fantastic, plenty of sunbeds (which was very very important to us!), lovely food (not just foreign food but they also had hotdogs and pasta carbonara and stuff so I was made!), and lovely gorgeous hotel staff!
We arrived around 7pm their time, had our suitcases taken up to our room for us by a really sweet bus boy, (he carried both of our way heavy suitcases at the same time bless him!) and he showed us to our room, as soon as we got there we unpacked, had a good nose around the room (one word of warning, always read instructions on the safe box in the cupboard, we busted ours by not reading it properly! Tour rep will help you anyways), then we had a small dinner as we had eaten on the plane, and then straight to the bar to get familiar with the drinks!
On our first night we made friends with the bar staff, and throughout the rest of our holiday we were regulars in the bar and didn’t even need to tell the staff what we were drinking.
We also met a couple of older English ladies, who we basically stayed with for the rest of the week, they were absolutely lovely and we called them our adopted aunties, they had dinner with us on my birthday and we swapped addresses and keep in contact still.
Welcome meeting gives you some very useful tips, make sure you listen! we also booked to excursions through the tour rep, to see the pyramids, and to do a day trip, which consisted of shopping, snorkelling and a camel ride! I swore I would never go on a camel but I’m telling you, you so have to go on one! they are a bit scary when they get up and sit down you do feel like you’re about to flop off of it but it is so exciting, I loved my camel! the pyramids are fantastic aswell, they are absolutely huge, and they are beautiful, if your going to Egypt, then you have to see the pyramids. its a must do, but if you do the one day trip, it is very exhausting, but still worth It.
The evening entertainment in the hotel is very basic. you’ve got your kids entertainment at the beginning, but we were too busy chucking drinks down our necks at this point anyways. then you have your belly dancing and your break dancing, karaoke, and on a few selected nights you get outside groups come in and dance, which is actually really good. I really enjoyed my nights, especially as we just seemed to make loads of friends, and that was really lovely on my birthday week, and it also made the plane ride home a bit more fun aswell because everyone just knew each other, we made friends with older women of around 57 years of age, the English football hooligans who turned out to be really funny blokes with their wife and kids, I even met a middle aged couple who come from the same town as me, then I find out they live in the next road to me, small world indeed!
The beach is very quiet but lovely, another pool down there, all inclusive soft drinks but you have to pay for alcohol and food, we stuck to the soft drinks anyway during the day. you can snorkel down the beach, or lounge on your sunbed.
beautiful view done there.
On the last day we got our last minute sunbathing done, had lunch and then waited for our coach to come.
As I had met a really special friend out there, and I loved all the hotel staff, our adopted aunties, the weather, the hotel, just the feeling of being in such a beautiful fantastic country with your very best friend, I really cried my heart out. I did not want to come home at all, I have ever only cried once before when coming home from a holiday and that was when I was 10. Walking out of the hotel, walking away from my friends, when the coach pulled away, and when the plane took off the ground, it all started me off. I was depressed for days when I got home, until I received a text message from my friend out in Egypt, and I came back to life again.
People might disagree with me, but I truly thought three corners, and Taba itself is an amazing place.... I have booked to go out again in September, and I just cant wait.

A well organised hotel with very friendly helpful staff. Magella, a Belgian lady employed in guest relations was particularly kind when my daughter became dehydrated (DRINK PLENTY OF WATER!!)
The rooms are clean with plenty of storage space, probably a bit cramped with a third bed. Nice balcony, but usually too hot to make use of(even at night)Very good air conditioning in room though
There is only one main restaurant, with indoor and terrace seating. We didn’t try the small al la Carte one so can't comment on that. There is a good variety of food , usually well cooked. We found fresh fruit in short supply and the juice was more squash-like. We didn’t see any bugs and only the odd fly in the resort, unlike other places we have been to.
The main swimming pool is fairly large with plenty of sunbeds and parasols. It does get busy, though, so most people reserve beds by 10.00 a.m. We used the pool by the beach, which is much quieter and there is no shortage of beds or umbrellas at all times of the day. There is a good towel service by pool and beach(don’t lose your cards)
The beach is also quiet and very clean with nice windbreaks around most of the sunbeds. You won't be troubled by any vendors, although you can get a camel ride or henna tattoos if you want! There is a marked way in the sea to snorkel. We did see quite a few different types of fish , but I think you would need to go out on a boat trip for really good snorkelling.
If you just want to swim it is probably better to go to the extreme right of the beach as it is much sandier entering the sea.
The pool bar is very good, but you will have to pay for alcoholic drinks and snacks, for some reason they are not included in the all-inclusive here. We used to leave our stuff down there and get the shuttle bus back to the hotel for lunch( Bus goes every half-hour and takes 5 minutes.)
Entertainment is , as they say low key. A belly dancing show, karaoke and live music. There is the usual Minidisco for small kids before main entertainment starts at 9.00p.m.
There are a few shops at the hotel and a Pharmacy. Prices are quite reasonable
There is also a watersports centre 5 minutes away by shuttle bus(free). The prices are also reasonable and all the staff speak good English.
Overall we enjoyed our stay at three corners and would go back again, but in their winter season. It is extremely hot!
50 degrees in July with a very hot wind at times!

We had a lovely time staying at the Three Corners in Taba. The staff were really friendly and had a great sense of humour. Staying at the Three Corners enabled us to visit Cairo, Israel, Jordan (Petra), Mt Sinai and so much more.
All trips were of very good value and the hotel even provided us a pack breakfast to take with us on trips that started early in the morning. A short, FREE bus ride down the bottom of the road one way led to the private beach/beach bar/2 beachside pools and the other way led to "waterworld," which provides cheap water sports and glass bottomed boat, very enlightening.
Over all this was a fantastic holiday! The quality of the hotel cleanliness and the hardworking staff is unbeatable. Would recommend this hotel/holiday to everyone of any age!
