Chrousso Village

Just returned 18th May 2006 good holiday nice place very relaxing apartments. When I read reviews before going to the Chrousso Village it stated that there was no toaster in the dining room. Well they have now got them. Also it was stated that there was no air conditioning but they have now installed that as well.
Very good very clean staff very friendly bit secluded but there is a free mini bus to towns Hanioti and Pefkori short distance away bus also goes at night but if you need a taxi its about 8 euros lots of bars and restaurants in the town. The food in the Chrousso Village was ok always found something to eat not the best but certainly not the worst I come across.
Boat trips are good, there is lots of other trips to try like jeep safari etc. Overall good place, would go back and I don’t say that very often we had no children with us but facilities for children were excellent they are well looked after by really nice staff.

Good value for money, clean, excellent for children, free flowing food, drinks and ice-cream pretty much all day. Food pretty standard catering for large numbers, therefore somewhat bland by Greek standards.
I do take exception to a previous reviewer's implication that Greek food is by definition not particularly palatable! If you want to sample excellent Greek cuisine that is not designed for mass consumption try the 3 brothers taverna down the road, and go for the fresh seafood dishes. Shades of Shirley Valentine perhaps.
A good deal for families, though my partner would have preferred closer to the beach. Would stay there again.

Brilliant holiday, great value for money. The resort was clean and set in very pretty gardens. The food and drink was plentiful and very good. We palled up with a few couples and there were no qualms about fetching rounds of drinks from the bar, previous places will only give you the amount of drinks for your booked party. Very children friendly, the kids club was very good and kept the kids happy for a few hours a day, and the parents even happier! The courtesy mini bus to Pefkhouri and Hanioti was really useful - a really good service.
The on site PADI registered scuba school was really good, about 50 Euros for an introductory dive for half day, or full course for about 300. Really friendly instructors and treat you like mates for the rest of the holiday. They take all the equipment into the pool for the kids to have a go too. The beach is about half mile walk, but well worth it. Probably the nicest beach I’ve been to. Just like paradise! Do the pirate ship, that too is awesome (but not cheap). Would I recommend it? Well, we’ve got the brochure for next year!
