The food could not be faulted--10 out 0f 10--the al a carte was fish based only and eaten on the terrace whilst being pestered by cats and mosquito's. The hotel tried to charge some brits for using the facilities (anything was quoted from £10 per head to £25 to use a... more

The hotel itself is on top of a steep hill, with no other hotels around. The view is fantastic. The village of Sarigerme is a ten minute walk away. It's no problem getting to the village, but it's a steep hike uphill to get back. Taxi is only around £4. The rooms are... more

When we booked this hotel we didn’t really know what to expect as we didn’t exactly pay much to stay at this 5* hotel, but when we got there it was great! Our room was on the bottom floor and the first room in the hotel which meant our balcony (which is a tad small) was... more

Excellent hotel, but not a 5 Star
This is an excellent hotel but not a 5 Star. The staff are friendly and the entire site is meticulously clean. Whilst its amenities are 5 star (marble floors and such like), the rooms are not. However it is well worth a visit if you are a couple as there were no children whatsoever. Even better was that although the hotel was ostensibly full, there was always plenty of room around the pool (only about 30% of the sun loungers were ever in use). We shall return to recharge our batteries in the near future.
Top place for a chill out....but watch out for the 'Sports Massage'
Stayed at the Alinn for a week at the beginning of August. Was a bit wary before we got there, as there wasn't many reviews on the net, but I needn't have worried at all. The hotel is about 20 mins from Dalaman, and has a lovely marble reception area. Because it was my birthday later on in the week (more of that later), we upgraded to a suite. There are 2 suites and bizarrely enough they aren't in the hotel, but are located kind of underneath the swimming pool, and are absolutely enormous! The staff are very professional, polite and friendly, and we both found the food to be of very high standard. (Look out for 'Mutla' - she was our favourite waitress!) Lovely meal in the 'Al Fresco' restaurant too!. The drinks are great 'Tuborg' lager on tap and a decent enough white wine, so we were both happy. Had a couple of the cocktails too, and of course the famous Turkish coffee. There is plenty to do if you want to - lots of sports available - water polo, gym and aqua aerobics etc. For my birthday I went for a 'Sports Massage' in the spa which I have to say was fabulous, only an hour later I could barely walk!! This turned into a bit of a nightmare from this moment on, as my back totally seized up and we had to get the doctor. I was a bit worried about the language barrier, but the doctor spoke English fluently and proceeded to give me painful steroid injections and 2 types of medication to help. The hotel staff were brilliant about me not being able to move about as much, and brought food to our suite on the days when I was in lots of pain. This whole escapade kind of overshadowed the whole holiday, which was a pity as it was the first holiday we'd taken child-less! I dont think the massuese was to blame for my back, it was just one of those things and would definately return to this hotel, but not go near the spa. (Think my other half is going to stick to flowers and choccys next birthday!!) On the whole this is a fabulous place to escape for a week or so. I think it would be lovely if the hotel had a pianist or something on a couple of nights a week, because there is no evening entertainment, but that was the only downside to it.
Very nice indeed
We visited this hotel for a week in early August, and were pleasantly surprised to see that it is indeed every inch as pretty and well kept as the photos, which is often not the case with hotel websites! The staff were very attentive and friendly, the hotel itself is vey new and a lot of money has been spend on lavish decor and fittings, giving it a real initial 5 star 'feel'. The restaurant is good quality buffet food, serving meats, veg, salads etc, with some extra freshly cooked to order additions such as ommelettes in the morning, and BBQ in the evening etc. The deserts were usually quite bland though. Food is available all day round from breakfast, to morning tea, to lunch, to burgers in mid afternoon, to pancakes just after, to tea and cakes, to dinner, to supper. The food is neverending, hence my jeans being too small a week on! You get one night a week where you have a waiter service meal, which is heavily fish based. This was pretty nice, but watch the steep wine prices if you order from the menu ones. The drinks are decent, and there is a good range of both soft and alcoholic drinks. The rooms, or at least the one that we stayed in where well kept and big enough for a couple for a week. You couldnt fit a family into them, but then we found this fine for 2 of us, and how much time do you spend in your room? There was a small fridge, air con, safe, and TV with international channels on it. Also there was a smallish balcony with a couple of chairs. Right, not the downpoints. There is no entertainment in the evening, apart from one night where we had some Turkish dancing, which was OK, but hardly an event. The restaurant is good, but after a week, I started to get bored of it, and found it all very samey. I guess that you could expect this even if you ate atr Gordon Ramsays for 7 days on the trot though! The decor is all new, but some of the workmanship is shoddy at best, and I suspect that in a few years, the hotel will look a little haggard due to this. A lot of the guests are Russian, and whilst this is a cheapish hotel in terms of UK money and all inclusives (£475 a week esq), a lot of the Russians paying this money were clearly very 'posh' in their homeland, as this is a lot of cash for every day Russians, and most of them were plain rude and came across as very arogant. Most of the UK visitors were great though, and the Germans were pleasant on the whole aswell. Whats included isnt clearly advsertised when you check in. Ie, at the bar, there is a cocktail of the day included in the all inc system. Also, the mid afternoon burgers, and pancakes are not mentioned, and a lot of what is on offer is found out by word of mouth, after a couple of days of being there. Also, where must 'Ultra AI' hotels offer european branded spirits, this place does not, and you will pay heavily for non turkish drinks. A shot of Malibu was £5. This isnt Ultra AI, just AI. Id say that this is a good 4 star hotel, not 5, as it lacks entertainment and facilties around the resort. Id definately go back for a week of chilling out in the sun, eating and drinking too much, but 2 weeks would be pushing my interest to the edge, and there isnt all that much to see or do in the Sarigerme area either. Still, a bargain for the price, so have a look for a cheap and cheerful, little piece of luxury.
Great hotel but only 4 star !
Great hotel, friendly staff and 5 star food, but unfortunately the build quality and room size lets the hotel down. Surrounding gardens and pool are ideal for a relaxing escape. Service is excellent. Look out for the pancake lady in the afternoons near the pool tables and the hammock overlooking the bay at the top of the hill off the footpath. The rooms are very small and basic for a 4/5 star, but ask about an upgrade to the castle tower rooms for around an extra £6 a day, well worth it. Locals report that the resort is due for major development with new golf course and more 4 & 5 star hotels due to commence end of 2007 season lasting around 2 years. Have a look at room rates through travel republic and taxi using Sarigerme tours.
Great stay in this excellent hotel
Stayed for 10 days in July 07 and was a little anxious as the web site looks great and looked too good to be true. Well I can safely say that for Turkey standards I would place as 5*. Hotel is tastefully designed with a good location. Hotel interior is nice, rooms very nice and A/C. large bathroom. This was my first all inclusive but was above my expectations, a good turn out for a difficult service to keep all people happy. Nice selection, fresh and always a grill bar operating. Pool side was fantastic, no kids at all so nice and quiet. Nice poolside bar with great view.
Outstanding!
Excellent hotel, everything ranging from the variety and quality of food to the service provided by the staff was second to none. I would definetely recommend this hotel for a relaxing and truly luxury holiday.
Excellent hotel!
Stayed at the Alinn Boutique for the first two weeks of July and loved every minute of it. The hotel is more beautiful than it looks in the photos and the views are out of this world. I have stayed in many 5* all inclusive hotels around the world and the service in this hotel tops them all. The staff really cannot do enough for you, so much so that you can't put your nearly finished drink down without them bringing another over without you even asking! One time however I went to get some bread and found that they had cleared my dinner away, so perhaps a little too hot on the service!! But hey, it is all inclusive so I just went back for some more! Sarigerme itself is very quiet so if you are looking to go to clubs, bars etc and want lots of things to do in evenings this is not the place for you. There is a Turkish night every Saturday in the hotel which was quite good, but other than that there isn't any more entertainment as such. Saying that there is music on in the background round the bars, a disco if you want a late one plus pool tables, darts, table tennis, chess boards etc to keep you amused. Its the same in the day there are activities if you want to get involved water polo etc but if don't want to participate then no-one hassles you. The food was lovely, always hot and always a good variety – try the Turkish pizza with minced meat – it’s lovely! There is also an a la carte fish restaurant also which we didn't try as my boyfriend doesn't like fish but it certainly looked nice. To sum the hotel up it is a beautiful luxurious hotel with a great relaxed atmosphere, fabulous views and an excellent service. We are already thinking about booking for next year…..
great relaxing hotel
we stayed for 2 weeks at this hotel and found it excellent in every department but one.there is no entertainment.the place was spotless, well equipped, very good food, excellent service, friendly and helpful staff. If your looking for total relaxation then this is the best we have been to.Everyone we spoke to on holiday said exactly the same.It is not all english or german like many places, lots of nationalities.
Excellent
Absolutely excellent hotel which is worthy of its 5* rating. Would strongly recommend. Pros: Excellent and very friendly staff (especially Nina!). Extremely Clean. All Inclusive. No Kids. Good Amenities. Cons: Found that the food catered for general tastes a little too much ... I would have liked to see more Turkish food. No cash machine in the area - although you dont really need it all that often - but a useful tip is that one of the shops in the village does cash back. The cons about this place arent really very big at all and dont really detract from the trip. My boyfriend and I got 7 nights there and our total spend was about £650 between us for absolutely everything (and this included a few extra odds and sods, a turkish bath and transport door to door) so we felt we got great value for money. Enjoy, Tom
Fantastıc!
I took my gırlfrıend to the Alınn Boutıque Hotel for her 22nd Bırthday ın May 2007 and loved every mınute of ıt. The good bıts - 1) the hotel ıs luxurıous ın decor (marble and mosaıc everywhere!) and ıs kept extremely clean. 2) The food was of a hıgh standard for All Inclusıve. 3) The staff are brıllıant and there are lots of them - ı never had to waıt to eat or get served at the bar - unlıke other All Inclusıves I have been on. The bad bıts - only 1 and thats not the hotels fault - Sarıgerme ıs very quıet and there not much to see or do ın the localıty - however thıs ıs apparently due to change over the next two years - a new golf course - three 5* hotels and a new maın street are all due to be completed by 2009 so should much ımprove thıs aspect. Top tıps - 1) have a turkısh bath - for some reason no-one thought ıt was ıncluded ın the All Inclusıve but ıt ıs and ıts very good - have ıt early ın the holıday though as ıt can take affect your suntan!. 2) Buy the local mozzy spray from the hotel shop - ıts very effectıve and much better than the one I brought wıth me. 3) Go see Oz at Sarıgerme Tours (at the bottom of the maın street) - I booked my transfers and excursıons wıth hım and he was brıllıant. They have there own websıte whıch ıs worth a look - [--] One thıng worth notıng ıs that I got thıs holıday at an exceptıonal prıce whıch maybe made me feel a lot better about the hotel - however I would have no reservatıons about payıng more for thıs hotel - fantastıc!
