We booked this holiday because we found a an amazing deal last minuite, so booked it straight away. After looking at some of the reviews we were a bit unsure about what the place would be like, but decided then to enjoy it nevertheless, look at the positive of everything and enjoy the sunshine.
We went in July this year and i was a amazing holiday and the hotel was great. The staff were always very helpful, carrying suitcases to our room in the early hours of the morning with a smile on their faces making us feel welcome. The room was very clean and neatly prepared. The balcony looked down on the pool, which was great, and in the room we also had a flat screen tv to use, which we wernt expecting.
The food is lovely, and even if you want to eat outside the hotel, it is located near lots of different style resturants including an english one "the red lion".
We walked to Side harbour all the time, once you know the way there, its an easy walking distance. We even managed to catch the bus once, just remember to get off at the right stop, haha.
There are buffets available on certain days at the hotel, such as BBQ night, and two others, including a karioke night.
There is a massage place at the hotel where you are able to have a turkish bath, i had a chocolate massage, so that was an experience.
Our room was cleaned everyday and the cleaners were all very friendly, and definately did their job well, they always seemed to be working. The hotel had a shop that had foods such as buscuits, cakes and drinks.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my holiday! I would advise this hotel to people and realy want to go back there again. Just dont go there expecting 5 star.
Thankyou to all the staff for making our time there great and for being so friendly.

rooms fine for use as a base, clean with all necessary.
nice pools for adults, infants and slides for more adventurous.
breakfast not ideal but managed by purchase of own supplies to offset what was missing.
ideally positioned for restaurants, supermarkets, bank and has free bus to beach.
meals available in the hotel very nice but waiting time can be quite long.

my husband myself and 2 kids have just got back from pasha star hotel and to be honest we absolutely loved it. After reading lots of bad reviews we were dreading going. The staff and waiters were all fantastic and couldnt do enough for us. The food was really good and plenty of entertainment. the pool was clean and apartments for 4 were big. we didnt get charged for the fridge or kettle so we were very lucky. the air con costed 85 lira per week and the trick with getting it for free doesnt work, unless we had different air con units. sultans restaurant just 30 seconds walk had fantastic food with free starter and free dessert. efes was just 4 lira. the waiters at the hotel dont mind you buying from the reception and drinking in there restaurant. they were all fantastic especially mehmet , he was very friendly and also jimmy. We will definately book again for next year. cant wait.

Brilliant for a cheap holiday, rooms where clean, staff where helpfull apart from only about two could speak english, about a ten minute walk from the beach, if you enjoy walking you can walk to side which is beautiful! or you can just get the bus to take you although the breakfast wasnt very nice but the hotel food was lovely, would defrently go back, the saturday market was good just have to walk out the door and its just there, the thomas cook rep chris was really nice and welcoming always came over to see how we where, and for the price its really good.

Myself and my partner stayed at Pasha Star September this year, total let down!!!! The staff are rude especially around the poolside bar, if you dont eat within the hotel the staff dont even acknowledge you, give you dirty looks and laugh and talk about you amongst themselves. The rooms are very basic and our beds were changed once the whole 7 days we were there, if you happen to get a little bit of dirt or makeup on your towels you are charged ridiculous rates!!!!! All staff including the bar staff have ascess to your rooms which i found out by being woken up approx 01.00am to one of the bar men letting himself into our room without even knocking!!!!!!!. I would advise not to go to this hotel Side is a lovely part of Turkey just the hotel in general was a total let down and all the staff there need to learn some manners. Other holiday makers whilst we were there were even bought to tears by there total lack of respect for people who choose not to eat and buy drinks within the hotel, surely this is why you go bed and breakfast???? obviosly not in there case. Could not wait to come home.

Although, I loved Manuel when he was waiting at 'Faulty Towers', as Manager of Pasha Star, the joke wore very thin.
The bar staff are given to sneaking up behind the ladies and tickling their ears. Not even funny the first time!
If there is any justice in the world, Mamet will be offered a job at Hotel Bablyon. Mamet was the exception that proved the rule.
What can I say about Billy? Nothing good.
It is possible to plug the fridge in, if you are willing to re-arrange the furniture first. Alternatively, pack a screwdriver!
My main regret is that I was not rude to the staff before I checked out.
The only positive reviews relate to the Western run bars and not this hotel.
The management are greedy and incompetent. Do not stay here unless you are looking for an easy fight.

Had 14 nights here first week was good , second week was a countdown to come home. The first week we paid for everything in the hotel , second week it was duplicate to the first so we decided to venture out. Hotel staff from bar , restuarant and pool area were very rude , arrogant , ignorant very unprofessional. They didn't like us going out of the hotel to other restuarants.Any inflatables that were left by the pool at night were punctured by the bar staff . However we found the maid service very good , reception staff very helpful , Pool area acceptable .Food edible but much better outside of the hotel and cheaper. Would go to Side again but unfortunately not Pasha Star. The hotel owner needs to address all his staff and get rid of 70% of them the bar manager being first !!!!

Well where do i start about the Pasha Star, the rooms were adequate, there is a fridge but it dont work because the cable is too short to reach the plug(so you have to pay an extra £13 for that) were expected to have a T.V in room but had too pay another £13 for that was also, meant to have a kettle also but yes you guessed it, yet anthoer £13 too pay for that also. woke up next morning to have a really good breakfast but i would advise you stay away from the food in the hotel at all costs, as some people had stomach upset so we stayed away from it.
A good place to eat is around the corner called the Sultan and another place called to eat is the Flying Horse and the Red Lion, it has free pool tables and a good karaoke on friday at 10pm, but be warned the writing in the song books is very very small and hard to read,
There is no entertainment in the hotel at all just a guy dressed up in a womans frock dancing to Tarken(turkish singer) his name is Billy but he's a nice guy really,
Walk around the harbour, but be careful of the haggler's there is good quality gear there but get down too as low as possible in lira's.( set your price in liras and stick with that price whatever the case)
do not get trips from holiday reps in the hotel, shop around and you will find it cheaper, i promise.
another place we visited was a monday market in managvat (man-o-gat) it costs 2 liras per person per way, but dont stay there after it gets dark it's very dodgy so please leave before the sun goes down we dont want you going missing, do we now
The management are very bad at there job, basil faulty could do a better job than than them,
But all in all Turkey a very nice place to visit, but stay away from the Pasha Star, try finding somewhere else to stay and people that can show you and tell you where everything is.
you will also be woken up by the muslim prayer call at 5.10am and other times of the day so you may wanna bring ear plugs with you guys.
And by the way when you get onto the sun loungers you have to pay extra for the matress that goes over it,it will cost you 2.50 liras each, dont pay for beers in the bar it costs you 5 liras from there, always get your beers from reception its only cost you 3 liras
