my boyfriend and me stayed here for 2 weeks in july 2009 and we had a really great time!! the family run hotel is nice and clean with super facilities! the pool area especially was lovely and relaxing with sunloungers and parasols! we found that the hotel was not to far walking distance into sidari and we would walk there every evening for dinner and to the bars! we had breakfast and lunch most days in the hotel and found the food to be delicious and filling! there is a shop just down the road if you fancy cooking which has all the basics!! we enjoyed singing kareoke and playing darts with spyros and kostas the brothers whose hotel it is! they are awesome!! would definately recommend staying here and we will definately be back!!!!

Me and my Girlfriend noticed this place had great reviews so we went to see it for ourselves. We stayed for 10 nights and were not disappointed. The family run this place very well, they take a lot of pride in it and it shows!
It was very clean, spacious and welcoming. We cooked a few meals overselves, the kitchen facilities in the room were excellent. The food was great value and very good. It is in a great location, 5 minutes walk to the nearest beach, 10-15 to the main beach. There is many shops and bars/ food places on the walk to main Sidari, and there is a super market almost opposite the Palmar(less than 90p a 500ml bottle of beer!).
Sidari is a good location to get trips to the rest of the island, there are many tour companies offering competitive rates, the Greek Night and cruise to Parga was great! I like Sidari and very glad I went there, but felt I had seen it all in the one visit. Most of the food was very good at very competitive prices, We were paying £6.50 for a 3 course meal from the specials board (this was in May and it was very quiet).

There is no way to describe this other than amazing! Me and three friends went stayed at the palmar corfu apartments in july for the first time not really knowing what to expect, but we couldnt have been more pleased! everyone was so friendly and we instantly felt at home! The family that ran the appartments were soo friendly and did everything to make sure we had the best holiday! the food was incredible and the atmosphere was lovely! i think its fair to say we all fell in love with the brothers Kostas and Spiros they made each night fun and made the worlds best sex on the beach! We went to the bar every night without fail for some cocktails before heading out to the clubs for a memorable night! were planning on going back again next year and cant wait to see everyone again! Definately the best apartments weve ever stayed in!

me and my boyfriend stayed in these apartments from 08/09/08 - 15/0809 and got the last room and we are so glad we did. as soon as we got of the transfer coach we was welcomed by the two brothers who run the place, christos and spiros who shown us to our room and we felt at home as soon as we arrived. i had a look on here before we went and everything is so true. the one thing i must say is that do take plug ins and insect spray and anything to prevent bites as my boyfriend got bit quite badly around his feet n ended up going to hospital as he couldnt walk. everyone did do there best to help though even people staying there did there best to help.
the pool is lovely to chill by during the day, we ate there a few times aswel and the food was 10/10 theres a wide choice of meals, snacks and salads to choose from and a lot of cocktails and bevs to choose from. the apartments was kept clean, our room got cleaned everyday with fresh towels and bed sheets. there was a thunder storm at one point so we got a little bored but they put a film on 4 us 2 keep us entertained. at night the bar is a nice place to chill and have a few drinks as everyone was up for a laugh and was very friendly.
there are 2 small beaches near the apartments..if you turn left out of them and then take the 1st left or 2nd left you will come out at one of the beaches, one of them canal de mar is really nice the water stays shallow right up to the cove so you can see through to the other side its 7.50 euros for the sunbeds and parasoul which is gd if ur there all day as theres only about 15 of them due to the size of the beach, there is a larger beach about 10 mins away with bars, watersports and plenty of sunbeds.
every morning we went for breakfast at nicholas which was 3 euros for breaky and a drink which is very good out there we also ate there in the evening and the food and prices are just as good. we also ate at three little pigs, this was the best meal we had and one of the best nights as they light the place of fire, dance and get people up dancing with them..one of them which was me. memories was also good they do the same but abit more over the top by smashing plates and doing allsorts of stunts. seabreeze is also a nice place to eat at, right on the beach they also do a meal deal starter, main and desert for 7.50 euros and it was lovely. there are lots of bars 10 mins away from palmar and they all vary, if u keep saying no they will offer u more free drinks and shots which was fun to do. there are 2 nightclubs ice and ceasers they dont open untill 1am and are open till 7am but they are only small inside they do things like popcorn partys and wet t-shirt comps ceasers also did a foam party.
i could write alot more about this place and would love to go back again, i would definately choose palmar apartments to stay at. theres lots to do and see of the island and you will not regret it if you stay at the palmar i cant say how much i enjoyed staying there compared to other places that dont really bother with you once youve arrived. everything is really layed back and i would recommend palmar to any one any age wether your a family, couple or just out to have fun and relax in the sun!

We've just come back from 2weeks in Sidari, Corfu. Our stay at the Corfu Palmar apartments was fantastic. Costas, Spyros, Evi, Susannah and Maria are the best hosts ever, they could not do enough for us. The apartments are spotlessly clean and are cleaned everyday by again a really friendly and helpful lady. Our 14year old son had a wonderful time and was well at ease with our Greek hosts & their children, not forgetting the dogs Hector and Aldo. Maria cooks the best Stifado amongst lots of other things, all the food is freshly prepared when you order it. A BIG thank you to Maria though she made us put on far too much weight.
Sidari has something for everyone, lots of bars, restaurants and lovely Greek Taverna's. The beach at Sidari isn't the best, but there is a beach just up the road from the apartments, that was lovely. You can swim to 3 rocks just off the beach and some people dive from the middle one into the sea.
Hopefully we will return next year to see Costas, Spyros and their family and some English friends that we made whilst we were there. A great holiday.

As per rest of the reviews this hotel is great. There is not 1 fault with the place its extremly clean and has everthing you need. The owners are great dispite the hard times they were having during our stay they were always very friendly and would do anything for you.
The rooms, we have a 1 bedroom apartment for 2 of us, it wasnt cheap as didnt fill room but the rooms were lovely and clean, air con, great shower and other facilities. However beware that the beds are very very very hard, we struggled to sleep on them for 10 days!
The pool and bar was great, i recommend the milkshakes and cocktails. The food was good all homed cooked by the owners mother as you wait.
The town itself, Canal D'amour was nice, a small stretch of resturaunts and bars.
Sidari - more livily with many bars and resuturaunts. I would not recommend the Sunset resturaunt in the SOS bar, or ocean view. I didnt even get my meal in sunset and Ocean view were serving barley hot fish which upset the stomach!
By far the best resturaunt in sidari was the Indian, its up by the legends appartments on the way into sidari and is a half hour walk. But its soo worth it, ate there 2 nights in a row. Indian chef, you wouldnt know you wernt in a UK resturaunt! Both mexicans were nice.
I recommend this hotel, i wasnt overly impressed with sidari, very smelly constant smell of sueage when sitting in restuarunts.
Say hello to VIOLIN MAN when you see him!!

I always check sites like this before booking a holiday, but have never added a comment before. I felt I had to write one about Palmar as it is the best holiday we have ever had! We had a studio for 2 and it was lovely - very large, clean and modern. Maid service was every day and we recieved clean linen & towels numerous times throughout our stay. There are no worries about being woken up early by the maid either - she waits until you leave your apartment in the morning before cleaning the room! Costas & Spiros are such a laugh behind the bar - we spent many nights drinking into the early hours chatting with them. The greek night was really good too - a bbq plus greek dancing complete with fire and of course everyone has to get up and join in! I normally run a mile at those sort of things but this one was really fun! All the cooking at Palmar is done by Maria (Costas&Spiros Mum) - food is fantastic, lots of lovely Greek dishes plus great sandwiches & salads etc during the day.
Have been to Sidari twice before and this is by far the best place we have stayed. The Canal D'amour area is more laid back than the centre of Sidari but there are still plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from within 5min walk either way from Palmar. Still close enough to the centre if you want all the nightlife, but beware - when you walk down the main road in Sidari during the evening you will constantly be bothered by touts/reps trying to get you into their bar/restaurant. For this reason we decided to go out in the Canal D'Amour area in the evenings and there is still plenty of choice.
Beach is lovely, however the sea seems to get shallower every year! Not the ideal place if you want to go swimming, but brilliant for kids!
If you have booked to go to Palmar this year you are in for a fantastic holiday.....we will definately be booking again for next year!

We had a week stay at these apartments and was lovely - The staff were very friendly and done anything to make you feel welcome. All the staff are family and they all work very hard everyday. The bar stays open till the last person stops drinking and the guys are back there for 9.30 in the morning.
I would recommend trying the home made Spag Bol - Delicious!!!. I found i had to eat breakfast, Lunch and Dinner even though i was not too hungry.
Its not like any other place ive stayed as everyone here is British and there was no fight for a sun bed as only 14 rooms there was enough to go around, you could get up at 10.30 and still have a sun bed.
The only thing that let this holiday down was the coach trip, its over an hour long and on very winedy roads.
All in all i had a wonderful hotel and would recommended it for all ages.
