Quality Inn Hotel

I stayed at this hotel from Jan 28 to Jan 31, 2005. Negatives: 1. The room was the SMALLEST room I ever stayed in. There were only two people in my party, but we felt so cramped; 2. Carpets were a little stained; 3. A lot of noise from the hallways from other guests. It appears that large bus trips and or groups stay at this hotel -- like foreign visitors and cheerleaders. I stayed at this hotel on 10/15-10/17 2004. I only stayed here because all other area hotels were booked up when looking for reservations. I paid 89$ night and definately wasnt worth it. The price was higher b/c of the Horror Night thing which I wasnt interested in anyway. First of all, we arrived a little early and were'nt allowed to check in until exactly 4pm, which I kinda of expected since they were full too. However, when we see our room, we wonder why. Got this hotel off the internet. Price wasn't too bad, but I would not stay there again. The rooms were dirty, the elevators very slow and didn't seem very up to standards. The complementary breakfast was so greasy we could hardly find anything to eat. The transportation system was slow and our towncar had a hard time finding the hotel. There are many other nicer hotels in orlando for nearly the same price. I would find somewhere else to stay.

my party comprising of five adults and three young children stayed for ten days and found this hotel to be dirty with blood on sofa beds the decor was very dull and dated , the fridge was rusty and dirty it had seen better days the rooms had a damp musty smell to them. the hotelpool was in a shaded area which kept the pool cold , the base on the pool was very rough which caused your feet to graze . the location is quite a distance from international drive . this hotel is not in a very good location and i feel that tour operators should... more

I was very disappointed with this hotel!!! On the first night (Monday) we checked in I noticed a very dried up blood stain (brown) on the sheets. It wasn't very big but it was on the bottom where you have to fit the sheet so it should have been noticed. I didn't make a big deal...I left a piece of paper that said "OOPS" so when they changed the sheets they would notice it. We stayed at the Quality Inn on May 6th and 7th 2004. I booked this room through the internet and got a rate of $40 a night (including all taxes) which included a continental breakfast, you can't beat that! I did a lot of research on the internet and I could not find a better rate with breakfast in a decent part of town than this. This hotel is very close to universal studios, shopping and many restaurants and in a safe part of town. The staff was very courteous and helpful. We arrived the first weekend in May-04. The building exterior has been painted and the lobby looks great but as soon as you get to your room that is where any improvments have stopped. The bathroom had mold in a corner oposite of where the shower was and the door to the hallway was missing the peephole and the room carpet was just plain dirty. When I asked the desk clerk for another room she told me that that was the only room available although the parking lot was by no means crowded. It's been a while since a review was posted here. Obviously, things have changed at this "hotel". They have lost the Wellesley name on the building and they just answer the hotel phone with "Inn & Suites". It's a friggin' no-name hotel now! It is filthy. We left immediately and went to the Hampton Inn next door. I'd have paid $200 a night at that Hampton just to not stay at the hotel formerly known as Wellesley

I couldn't believe everything we got for the low price we paid at this hotel! Our bargain rate got us a room in a well kept hotel with secured entry and lovely grounds and public areas. Our room was a King which, in addition to the standard amenities, included a sitting couch/table area, microwave, fridge, coffee, etc. In addition, breakfast was included each day and the offerings were far more diverse than a standard continental breakfast. When you travel to a location away from your "home area", you should stay at a place that makes you feel safe. It might cost more than staying at a cheat hotel, but it dosn't let you sleep comfortable at night. This hotel was a great bang-for-the-buck hotel with security, cleaniness and frienldy employees. And it is close to I-drive.
