La Quinta Inn Airport Hotel

i stayed in the back on two occasions and both rooms had a horrible mold/musty smell and i am a smoker that can barely smell things.

This motel is great for Orlando airport users, as it allows the guest to park FREE either before or after the stay at the hotel. It offers free shuttle service to the airport. Room was clean and spacious. When we checked in (Friday) manager had free pizza for all guests. Strong management insists that guests report any and all problems for immediate correction.

No hot water the night we arrived. Offered to move us to the LaQuinta down the street at 10:50pm. Bathroom was very dirty, grounds were a mess, hallways not vacumed. Not a very well kept property. Can't believe they are rated three diamonds by AAA.

we stayed one night en route to Puerto Rico having arrived via Sanford. Hotel is dated but clean, the bathroom etc was spotless with good towels and linens, beds were comfortable. We needed a convenient hotel and would be happy to stay again for a night.

I would give this a one star rating, except for the exceptional front desk service. EVERYONE at the front desk was super nice and went out of their way to help me. That, and the super low rate, were the only redeeming features for this hotel. The property is in need of serious repair, and the room reeked of mold. I had a cold, and I felt like I was choking everytime I walked into the room. Something seriously needs to be done about this!

Nice lobby, good staff. Hotel is clean and neat. In fact my room smelled like Lysol or some other cleaner, but I guess that's batter than a lot of the alternatives. The only problem with the room was the sink did not drain. I left a note.

This hotel was VERY DIRTY! Front desk staff rude, especially "CARL", the shuttle driver.

We paid next to nothing for one night between flight transfer. We were impressed by our large, clean, modern room. Free shuttle service to/from airport- just call the hotel to arrange collection from the airport courtesy phone. The included breakfast was basic but OK. There are a MacDonalds and a fish restaurant within walking distance. Ideal for a one night stay, but too basic for a longer trip.

I suggest that if you are considering this hotel, you look elsewhere. I checked out several hotels in the Orlando Airport area because I had time to kill before my plane departed and this one was the most run down and in the worst location of any of them. I have no earthly idea why there are so many positive reviews of this hotel. This was a clean hotel in a convenient location. We spent a week in Orlando and would stay here again. The breakfast items were pretty limited, but still good and free (so we had more money to spend elsewhere). The pool was perfect size and clean--the only downfall if you're a non-smoker is that this is where the smokers go and the odor can get a bit thick. Otherwise, good place to stay--friendly staff.
