Comfort Inn International Hotel

After much deliberating, i decided to stay here during my week long trip which i have just returned from, i'm glad i didn't let the mixed reviews on here change my mind because we loved the place! We pre-paid for our room via Travelocity(-) and got the price of £272 for seven nights. I'd definately recommend Travelocity and i would use them again without hesitation. We stayed at the CI International on the 26th August originally we had planned to stay only two nights as we were due to go to New Orleans for 4 days. The staff were very attentive and helpful. With Hurricaine Katrina on its way to the Gulf coast we cancelled our trip to NO and asked if we could keep the room for a further 4 days. The hotel staff did all they could to help us and were able to leave us in the same room even though they were very busy. The breakfast buffet was excellent with everything fresh daily. We happened to chance on a great internet deal when we saw the offer by Comfort Inn International in Orlando Florida. I read the so-so reviews but having stayed in many small European hotels, I took the review with a grain of salt. When we arrived, were we ever pleased. It was very easy to access and in a great location. The night clerk was friendly and shared some of her bird stories with us, We arrived late but received a great room. stayed here when there was a hurricane last year staff were nice and freindly we enjoyed the whole experiance would love to stay again.

The hotel is a solid value at this time, however the property is starting to show signs of getting ran down, i.e. the paint is dirty and fading on the outside facade of the building, the carpet in the hallway areas is looking a bit tired, and the complimentary brealfast is very limited. We stayed at this hotel from the 14th of June to the 28th of June. The staff were very friendly indeed, nothing was too much trouble for them. The pool area is small but there was hardly anyone using it so you had the whole area to yourself really, most people were out and about. The pool was a great place to chill out. The complimentary breakfast was very good, but could be very busy after 8 am. Coffee was available all the time, they had an ice machine that anyone could use. hotel was nice but the management wasn't as nice. had troube with billing and management made the stay not worth the trouble. i paid with my visa card and was not advised at the time i checked in or when i reserved the room of the 300.00 "hold" the hotel puts on my credit account for the length of my stay. i even called the reservation line to see if they had this information to pass on to the consumer was told, no. so if you pay with a visa....prepare for hold.

My boyfriend and I moved to this hotel after orignially booking to stay at a different hotell. We found this is be a lovely clean and quiet hotel. No kids with flip flops as they have internal corridors. The staff are friendly and helpful and it's smack on the international drive and sandlake road junction so is in great distance of everything. Granted there isn't a big pool, not that my boyfriend and I had the time or energy to go to it and the food selection also wasn't great but with so many resturants around it was easy for us to eat out... more

We stayed at the Comfort Inn, International Drive area from 06/05-20/05/2005 We did not know what to expect as it was our first time in Florida. Arriving after a nine hour flight we were made very welcome and were impressed by how friendly the staff were and genuinely helpful in every way. The room was as described in the brochure. two double beds, microwave and fridge, towels changed daily and room kept very clean. Stayed here with husband and six year old son. The hotel was not hard to find. Right before the intersection of International Drive there is a sign and turnoff for it on the right, along with a TGIFriday, and a Golden Corral restaurant. Staff was friendly, room was pretty clean. The free breakfast was basic, but good. (bagels, instant oatmeal, pastries,etc.) The only complaint is that the elevator was pretty slow, I took the stairs once. This place is good to stay if you want good value for your money. We enjoyed our stay!
