As a party of 8, (4adults and 4 children) we stayed at the Stella in February and enjoyed an abundance of snow when the rest of Europe was struggling.
Hotel was excellent and obviously recently refurbished with comfortable and well equipped rooms.
Food in the restaurant was of good quality and the service was always friendly and competent. We were pleasantly surprised at how low our bar bill was at the end of the stay.
The Leisure facilities weren't quite finished but we were still able to use the pool and sauna.
We were worried about the location and the fact that you had to catch the hotel minibus to and from the slopes, but we needn't have been worried. The marvellous Patricia has everything in control. We never had to wait longer than 10 - 15 minutes for the welcome lift back up the hill!
The area is excellent, if you are experienced skiers, get yourselves out and about on the free ski bus and explore the area. Fantastic!
Would recommend the area and definitely the Stella Montis to everyone.

Very clean and comfortable hotel with good pool and sauna facilities. Food of very high standard in a large dining room. The hotel minibus service to/from main gondola (around 4 mins) absolutely excellent (and reasonably flexible). Good ski/boot storage area with heated boot rack. Bar area a bit stark but ideal for families/groups. A short (steep) walk down hill to village centre. Staff very helpful and friendly. Underground car park available for self-drive (extra charge). I would recommend the hotel for families/groups who want to ski rather than focus on the apres ski. Single skiers might find the bar a bit quiet in the evenings....
