Having read the other comments below, I feel like I have stayed at a different place altogether! Yes these apartments are not the last word in luxury, but they are more than adequate. And we could not have been more happy with the friendly and attentive staff at the residence.
Negatives: Furnishings are basic. Kitchen area was basic, no microwave, inadequate oven. One or two of the bathroom tiles were cracked. We had to clean out the kitchen area and dump the bins and bottles (but the bins were just outside the block). Swimming pool was freezing! Some early morning noise from the apartment above as they tended to rise an hour earlier than we did.
Positives: Reception and bar staff could not do enough to help us and dealt promptly with 2 small issues we had. The €5 breakfast was great value and served with a smile (ample cereal, lovely ham and cheese rolls, juice, and cofffee/tea). There was no noise from the road outside as the units were towards the periphery of a side road in the resort. Free ski lockers that fitted 4 ski sets and a snowboard. One flight up from the locker and you were on the snow, ski in and out! Free use of gym. Internet cafe on site (as far as I could tell the only one in the resort). The beds were very comfortable. The apartment was always warm. No problem with hot water, always ample for the 5 of us...we never ran out. Good value, although we went on a package the price for our room for that week was €645 and it had 7 beds (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large kitchen dining area).
This was my 10th ski holiday. I have always stayed in apartments. This was nowhere near the bottom of what I have endured before. Nor was it the best, but I hardly recognise the place from the previous reviews. I would willingly return.

I have travelled all over the world and been on endless package holidays and this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Skiing holidays are not cheap, you expect a certain standard and level of comfort. We were not given the room allocation we booked, so two of our friends had to stay in a seperate hotel and there were no sofas - a definate draw back as after a hard day skiing all you want to do is relax in a the lounge. Our toilet blocked within hours of being there, the flush broke on the en-suite toilet, numerous bulbs and plug sockets were broken, there was no kettle or toaster, our hob broke and we had to make our own beds upon arrival. The apartment was not cleaned once during our stay, we had to clean the kitchen upon check out and were then charged a 40 euro cleaning deposit which was not stated in the brochure! I have never had such bad service or stayed in such low standard accommodation.

The accommodation was awful. This was the fourth time we'd travelled with Inghams and the previous three had been fine.
The accomodation is spacious but decor very tired, beds saggy, very little natural light.
The residence has 28 apartments and the walls are so paper thin it seems as though all 28 families are in your apartment with you.
Add this to the fact that the apartments fronts a popular and busy road for people heading home from the pubs and disco at 4am in the morning and you're destined to spend your holiday almost asleep on your skis.
Overall very disappointing, I really can't recommend this place at all.

After reading some of the other reviews, I was expecting the worst. However we enjoyed staying at Top apartements in Passo Tonale. The accomadation was spacious, clean and staff were helpful. It was quite basic but always warm and we had a balcony with spectacular views over the mountains. We didn't cook much but cooking facilities looked quite basic.
The ski lockers were really close to the back door where you can ski out from to ski school and back in the evening. The pool was fine and the bar was ok. The barman was always welcoming and provided snacks with drinks in the evening. We did have to empty our own bins and clean a little at the end of the holiday but so long as you are told this there is no problem.
The only drawback for us being self catering was the lack of places to eat in the evening other than snack food. The best place we found was the Alpi pizzeria (behind Vittoria hotel) which served proper pizza and pasta as well as wine from the barrel at a reasonable price.
Overall we had excellent skiing and nice holiday.
