Adamello Hotel

We arrived in Passo Tonale on Boxing Day evening to find the charming Adamello Hotel blanketed in snow.
Best features: Very welcoming greeting by the owners on reception (along with their small children). Superb waiting staff in the restaurant and bar. Excellent choice of meals for our family (two adults & 12 yr old daughter). Lovely to select from a menu and have table service, unlike other resort hotels, where every course is buffet style. Our room (large twin with extra bed), was spotlessly clean with a balcony. Children's play area situated in the basement was super, we used the table tennis table frequently. For families with small children the soft play area would be a fabulous bonus.
Slight negatives: We booked an early morning alarm call for the departure day and it didnt work! Fortunately we also set the mobile phone alarm.
New Year's Gala Dinner was very impressive for the adults, it was a shame that there wasn't a children's alternative tea earlier in the evening, as the meal started at 8.30pm which we felt was a little too late.
We will be very pleased to return to the Adamello Hotel again, although it doesn't have a pool and wellness centre, it was a far superior hotel experience than some other hotels in this ski resort!
