We have just come back from a 5 day stay at this lovely hotel and have had a wonderful time with no complaints. Every member of staff was very friendly, the food great we were very comfortable. As I say everyone was so friendly - from the chambermaids and waitresses to the... more

This to date is one of the worst holiday experiences I have had, I found Tenby to be a lovely town, but I found the hotel staff, and the condition of the hotel to be appalling. The staff were rude, and didn’t seem to have a care about the guests comfort whilst staying in... more

Very satisfied
Not the most fabulous of Hotels I have stayed at but then have alook at the prices! Where else can you get a Sea Front Hotel for that sort of money?! Not many! If you fancy paying almost triple the price then book in at the Hotel a few doors down (where I have also stayed). You do get slightly better decor and parking but is it really worth the extra? The belgrave is good old fashioned value for money. You will notice it also has the same more mature couples staying every year. I spoke to one of the coach drivers whom told me he... more
Very pleased with the Belgrave, Tenby
My Wife and I stayed at the Belgrave for 2 nights(30/3 and 1/4/07) as a birthday treat for myself. we had seen it advertised for many years in the local papers. We had a great time. Yes , the Hotel has seen it's heyday, but the rooms were clean and comfortable. The room we had was on the 2nd floor and at the front. What a view! We could lay on our bed and look out across South beach to Caldy island. The car was parked outside in full view for the entire w/end. The food was fine and the entertainment was... more
Not A Bad Hotel
my partner and i stayed at the hotel, very art deco, but comfortable enough, we had a sea view room on the top floor and made friends with a local seagull we called solly, ha, he would take food from your hand. breakfast was ok, the juice was quite warm on the first day, but there were ample serial boxes to choose from, but i was disapointed with the cooked breakfast, it was very dry, i had to ask for beans, which i was provided with. staff were friendly enough, but to be honest, we did not spend a lot of time at the hotel, it was... more
views 1st class
hotel rooms were a little dated but clean & comfortable, staff pleasant & helpful, breakfast good, full beakfast with cereals etc, entertainment seemed ok,but personally would rather go out, beer at bar not bad & very reasonably priced, overall good but the views are 1st class make sure you book a sea view & enjoy.
Disappointing
Heard such good reports about this hotel, but if I really but put my critical head on I will. The rooms are clean with some corners cut. Some rubbish in the carpet and an unpleasant stale smoke in bedrooms masked by cheap polish or air freshner. Food was ok, but again seemed to lack the standard it should have. Staff were helpful, but one or two have an attitude. Nothing major, but its niggling, this hotel should be A1 but lacks silly little standards that have put me off.
hated the belgrave
rooms were small and smelt of smoke i asked for dinner at 12:00 i got it at 1:00 it was rip i hope they shut the people or place down
Loved every minuite
After reading the never again review,we were a bit wary how wrong could they be. It was brilliant. Clean, Friendly, Excellent Food, BUT SOME PEOPLE CANNOT BE PLEASED. We would gladly go again
Never to return
I should have trusted my instincts: this hotel's website gives very limited information and I should have realised why. This hotel was a great disappointment - it's cheaper than its companions on the seafront, but not than the guest houses in neighbouring streets, and since I didn't have a sea view, I'd have done better elsewhere. My room was small, dark, stank of cigarettes (there didn't seem anywhere in this hotel that wasn't smoky) and the floor sloped markedly; too many reception staff were indifferent and inefficient (e.g. were... more
Loved every minute!
I loved this hotel, staff were really friendly, the rooms were very clean and tidy and the food was excellent. The car park is just arround the corner and the views from the front of the hotel are stunning! There is a lovely bar downstairs with a friendly atmosphere and a pool room for when it rains. All in all a lovely stay which was excellent value for money, we stayed only for the weekend but could have easily stayed for the week.
value for money
My husband and I went to the Belgrave Hotel, Tenby, on Fri. 16th. September for a 2 night DBB break costing £84.50 each. We had a clean room on the third floor (lifts to all floors) with glorious sea views. The food was good ( table service) and the entertainment was adequate. I had been searching for a review of this hotel before we went and was a bit concerned that I couldn't find one, but I was pleasantly surprised and we would definately go back to this hotel again. Many of the guests there had been before and would go again. The... more
