" The staff at Le Sporting were all... "

The staff at Le Sporting were all very accomodating. The food was great. The whole set up was most enjoyable for both ourselves and the younger members of our party, very relaxed. The Children loved playing on the Pool table after evening Dinner.

Unfortunately one of our party had an accident on the slopes, however, once again the staff at Le Sporting came up trumps. The Manager contacted the Hospital to find out information. They offered a lift to the hospital for visits and to pick up Grace on her arrival back, thankfully, safe and sound.

On the staffs evening off, Amy, kindly booked the whole party into Mojo's (really good meal by the way) and then took the time to walk us along to the restaurant for our evening meal so that we could find it without any bother.

Although the hotel does not have many frills it has all the necessities and the Staff are most welcoming and friendly.

On the whole a most enjoyable holiday had by all.

" I have just taken a group of 14... "

I have just taken a group of 14 Adults to Le Sporting. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time. The rooms are basic but comfortable and cleaned every day. We found the food to be outstanding and Woody the Chef was very accommodating as we requested a BBQ and this was done to his enjoyment being Australian. Yes some of the staff are slightly staff but this in no-way effects their performance and someone tell me a ski company that uses older staff! Pip the hotel manager again was very helpful nothing was too much trouble and faults reported were fixed asap. We had a rather large dump of snow overnight, which meant the ski train wasn't running so Ryan the ski fitter took the ski school people down to the slopes in the van, which I have never known before and we have used all the big tour operators. We found Skitopia and their staff absolutely brilliant in everyway, easy to book big groups, trouble free and will be booking again with them. Thanks to all the staff for the best ski holiday this group has ever had and we have skied in several places. Ski resort is fab!

" I stayed at Le Sporting this summer... "

I stayed at Le Sporting this summer during a biking tour and the hotel was absolutely fine. It isn't going to win any awards, but the rooms were comfortable and the food was satisfactory. I spent several happy evenings in the bar and the staff were absolutely great. I spoke to a member of staff who said the hotel had had a bit of work on it since the end of the last ski season. As far as I was concerned, it delivered everything a 2 star hotel would.

" Le Sporting was ideal for its purpose... "

Le Sporting was ideal for its purpose - a school's Skiing trip at Easter! No snow around the resort area made it easy to get around, although a train takes you to and from the pontillas. It is walkable - but tough going with boots on!

The food was fine - no choice, but they were flexible in specific requirements made.

Attached to the dining room was a lounge type area. This was ok, again suitable for school use. The bar and the promise of a 'free bar' was ok - house wine and stubby beers.

The rooms were ok, slightly small but what do you really need from them on a ski holiday?

In all, if I was a private paying customer - I wouldn't have been overly happy, but the hotel met its purpose and the staff were all very friendly and helpful (although young!!).
