Hotel Description:
This hamlet of chalet-style apartments boasts an enviable position in the centre of the valley and only 5 minutes away from Villeneuve village and Pontillas bubble lift. Tastefully decorated, with easy access to the slopes and local nightlife.
The chalet we had was designed for 4 but we squeezed in 6 we are all 18-19 years old.
Was a bit crowded but for the amount it cost between 6 we cant complain, over all nice location,. Ski train takes you around the town which stops just outside the reception.
Ski lift a very short walk away. Bit far to walk all the way into the centre but it’s do-able. Kitchen was tiny; enough room for one, but dinning table was plenty large enough.
Our dishwasher was broke and they never supplied cleaning clothes, tea towel or washing up liquid which ticked us off a bit, so it would be worth taking your own.
There’s no oven apart from a scabby grill which we didn’t use. Overall kitchen was well equipped though with pots and pans etc. I wouldn’t go again unless I was on a small budget.
You also have to pay for bed linen when you arrive, which was £5? Why not include in the price!
The ski locker is also just a hole in the wall; we weren’t impressed by that as it got the hallway soaking wet and muddy. Staff though was friendly although not always around, ski guide Ben was great and very useful.
Skiing was good a lot of the runs were open but quite icy that time of year. All in all we paid £400 each for a week skiing for everything and we all enjoyed it. Also check out the Grotte du Yeti, it’s a fantastic place!!
