Hotel Description:

A Neilson-run lodge enjoying beautiful panoramic views, providing great food and service in an excellent location at the bottom of the piste. The Cimotel is within easy reach of Villeneuve’s resort centre and a mere 25m from the Aravet bubble lift which takes you straight into the heart of the ski area. Snow conditions permitting you can ski to within 20m of the hotel. In our opinion there is no other better situated accommodation. The hotel bar is a focal point of the property and has a great atmosphere. The large terrace is also an attraction on sunny days, with great views across the resort.

" What an amazing holiday! "

We knew nothing about this hotel before we got there as there were no reviews and to be honest it looked a bit like the hotel out of 'The Shining' at first. But the Neilson staff were absolutely amazing and made our experience at the Cimotel fantastic. Although the hotel was dated the beds were comfortable, the shower was hot and the room was warm. The ski school met just outside our hotel each morning and the cafes that were close by were great for lunch. The food at the Cimotel was superb, I cannot rave enough about it. Every single one of the staff were friendly and always asked us how our day was going and checked to see that we were completely happy all of the time. The highlight of the trip was the snow shoeing with Gee - what an experience! Not going to say anymore about it, just do it!
Thanks for a fantastic holiday, we will hopefully see you again next Christmas!
