Amoret Apartments

We stayed in The Orlando Apartment which is on Resticeva Street, right by the cathederal. The apartment is in an excellent location - right in the heart of the Old Town. Despite this, the apartment had a peaceful feel to it. The windows were double glazed so noise wasn't a problem. Our apartment was really nicely furnished and spacious with all mod cons. It was great to have a fridge and A/C! We had windows overlooking the side street, so there wasn't really a view. This was fine for us, but if you do want a nice view, then book... more

We enjoyed our stay in Amoret Appartment (Revelin). If you're looking for a "room with a view" on the seaside, this appartment is no option. But in our case (and maybe, also yours), this was the perfect choice: + very nice appartment + in the centre of the old town (near some fine restaurants) + quiet narrow street (you' ll sleep like never before) + lovely host, Branka We will stay here again if we will visit Dubrovnik once again.

Staying at the Apartments “Amoret” was a magical experience. I come from Japan and have visited many places in Europe but this was my first time to stay in such an authentic, old and beautiful stone building. It was like staying in a museum or being on a movie set. The location is excellent - it is located in the very center of the Old City near major historical monuments. The green market is around the block, as well as many cafes and restaurants. And if you find a little door in the Mediaeval City Wall, you'll be minutes away... more

My wife and I stayed at the Amoret Apartments in June 2006. We chose Amoret because it was reasonably priced and located in the Old City of Dubrovnik. This tiny, historical city, beautifully restored since the last conflict, is the jewel in the Croatian crown. With its magnificent buildings, narrow streets, and wonderful cultural offerings, we felt it was a privilege to be able to stay within its walls. We stayed for 3 nights and the location was excellent! We went in early May, as we had a young child and knew it wouldn;t be too hot or busy. Branka, the owner, couldn't have been more helpful - providing a baby cot which meant less luggage. The apartment we got was in a small, very quiet street which was excellent when having a young child, and yet 2mins walk from the main square, sights and harbour. Well we had read really good reviews about this apartment but unfortunately our experience did not measure up to the experience of otherd. Before even being shown the apartment we were asked to pay the balance of money outstanding for our proposed 4 night stay. The apartment proved to be a lot smaller than I had imagined and the "kitchen" was really only suitable for making the simplest snacks with very few utensils. The roof top terrace looks out onto some pretty grotty "scenery". The hostess did not check back with us at all... more

My husband and I, along with four of our friends, recently returned from a visit to Dubrovnik. We stayed at the Amoret.2 apartments and our host was Branka Dabrovnic. She was a wonderful host and helped us with whatever we needed and we found the apartments to be very centrally located. Each apt. had a kitchenette and private bath and it fit our needs very well. In the mornings, we would go to a nearby market for fresh, baked bread, ham and cheese, then a stop at a bakery along the way for delicious pastries. We were close to everything... more

Apartment Amoret - We stay in Apartment Bokar for 3 nights, which is in a different location to the previous review. Branka the lady who owns the apartments has 3 different locations to choose from around the old town of Dubrovnik. Our apartment was located in a small side street just off the main square, it was truly the perfect location, right in the heart of it however there was no noise. We spent 4 days in Dubrovnik recently and stayed at apartment 'Amoret' located near the Cathedral, in the center of the old Town. Good points : Very cute little studio (1 double bed + 2 single sofa beds) perfect for a couple + one or two kids. It's new and clean, and the owner is very friendly.There's a little kitchenette, bathroom, AC, and TV (if you want to brush up on your Croatian!)
