I've just got back from a late holiday in Rabac, 10th to 17th November and, luckily, the weather was unseasonably hot and sunny. Not a cloud all week. Like the other reviewers I was very impressed with the hotel. Very friendly staff and an excellent choice of food,... more

My partner and I booked a late deal with Thomson holidays, we booked allocation on arrival, and was really pleased with the choice we was given, we had a sea view which is just breathtaking, the weather was very hot although we did have a day where it did rain, the hotel is... more

My husband and I have been going to Croatia for the last 10 years. We have always stayed in Rabac mainly at the hotel Neptun. We have tried other hotels but we much prefer hotel Neptune. Hotel Neptun is one off 14 hotels in Rabac yes it is the furthest from the village but... more

Good: Hotel Pool - good size, not for serious swimmers though Location - at the end of the town so no real noise distractions Sea View - pay the extra for a room with a sea view, it’s worth it Reception area - good seating space with two balcony areas looking over the bay... more

Great Stay by the sea
My wife and I traveled to Dubrovnik on a budget and were amazed by the affordable price of the ocean front rooms ($135 US). We would definitely stay there again. Top floor rooms are advisable as views are obscured from ground and first floors. Views of the islands and sea were fantastic from the second floor rooms. The rooms were comfortable and the staff was pleasant and helpful at all times. The resturant has a great patio overlooking the harbor and the food, although buffet style is great. Breakfast/brunch was the best meal for... more
Friendly staff, nice location
We stayed at Neptun Hotel four nights. We got a room (806) in the top floor. It was actually two rooms, one as a bedroom and the other as a living room. Both rooms had its' own bathroom. They also had balcony facing the sea with a superb view. The room was clean with all the nescessary equipment, including AC. The hotel area is also very nice and clean with two pools and it's own resturant. It's easy to get to the old city of Dubrovnik from the hotel. The nearest bus stop is about 2 minutes walk from the hotel. With it's... more
Absolutely lovely!
My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in September and absolutely loved it. All the rooms have ocean views and balconies and were clean, modern and comfortable. Staff were friendly and the free internet access in the lobby was handy. The hotel is about 10-15 mins from the old town on a bus that picks up about 50 meters from reception, so very easy. The terrace just off the lobby had stunning views out to sea where you can watch the sunset with a cocktail from the adjacent bar, although there aren't many chairs there so best to get... more
Loved the Importanne Suites
My husband, I and our 3 children stayed in the Importanne Suite part of this hotel for 2 nights in July. Out of all the hotels we stayed in on our travels round Croatia, this was the most luxurious and comfortable of them all. The suite comprised of 2 large bedrooms and a living room with kitchenette and there were 3 bathrooms. Our suite was on the top floor and the view from our very large balcony was fantastic. The service was friendly and accomodating. We also managed to always find sunbeds and umbrellas at the beach area. I would highly... more
Bst service we've ever experienced.. bar none.
We stayed at Importanne for one week in July., as we got married in Dubrovnik. The staff were amazing - nothing was a problem. Our room was clean, amazing views from our huge balcony. We cannot recommend the Importanne Resort highly enough.
Excellent hotel
We really enjoyed our stay In Hotel Neptun. On arrival we got a free upgrade (room with sea view) without even asking for it and on departure we got a late 4 o clock check out free of charge. The staff working there are very helpful and friendly and in no small part contributed to our very pleasant time in Dubrovnik. Having spent the previous 5 nights in a dump of a hotel in Hvar this really felt like luxury. Most of the rooms have recently been renovated so be sure and ask for one of the new rooms when checking in. You will need to get bus... more
Fantastic Views
We stayed at the Importanne Resort in a 1-bed seaview suite in the “Importanne Suites” section of the resort. The welcome at reception was very good. We found service levels in Dubrovnik (hotel, restaurants, excursions) to be much better than expected – very attentive and eager to please. Couldn’t have been more helpful. Took no longer than 5 minutes to check in and deliver luggage to the suite. There was a complimentary fruit basket waiting for us in the bedroom. The Importanne Suites are obviously newly decorated &... more
Would definitely stay here again
The Importanne Resort of which the Hotel Neptun is part is directly on the coast in the Babin Kuk area about a 20 minute bus ride from the Old Town of Dubrovnik and about a 10-15 minute walk from the centre of the resort. The hotel, therefore, benefits from a quiet location but also easy access to both Dubrovnik and the Babin Kuk restaurants and shops (though some nearer shops would have been good). The bus stop to Dubrovnik is minutes from the hotel and the buses run frequently throughout the day and upto about midnight, which means that... more
Great location and service. Small rooms in older hotel section.
The newly renovated hotel is beautiful. It is know as the Importane Resort rather that the Hotel Neptun now. There are 3 separate facilities with the new section having beautiful new rooms with flat screen TV's and elegant bathrooms. The rooms in the Neptun section are very small, but the views are gorgeous overlooking the island off the coast of Dubrovnik. The bus transportation to the old city is excellent. The buses run frequently and are ontime. The staff is extrodinarily helpful. The renovations were not yet complete when we... more
Neptun Hotel Great place to stay
Just returned from Dubrovnik had a wonderful break. The hotel was very good and in a great location on the Lapad Peninsular over looking the sea.As previously stated the Hotel has been recently refurbished everything is very fresh and clean. The overall service is very good but the exceptional friendliness of ALL of the people(but in particlular Enes & Miro behind the bar) working in the Hotel staff make this a MUST for any visitor. It is with out doubt the best level of service I have experienced, they should bottle it and sell it on the... more
