The resort is a lovely relaxing place, and it is very easy to get a boat to other resorts around Lake Garda. Thomson have wonderful day trips to Venice and Verona.

Sirmione with it's roman ruins is definitely worth a visit. Hotel du Lac is right on the lakeside with wonderful views and a five minute stroll to the centre of Bardolino with it's harbour and numerous cafes and bars.

The food at the hotel Du Lac is spectacular, a five course meal every evening with several choices of main course and some fabulous deserts. The staff are friendly and service excellent. I will definitely be returning.
