We stayed in Harrahs, which is quite central down The Strip. Great meals served all day and if you sign up to their comps you do not have to queue to enter their restaurant.
All meals were buffets but we only ate breakfast each day, as was simply not hungry later on - so much to choose from.
If you are gambling (even as little as 5cents a go!) you can order free alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks. We found that by tipping the ladies who bought the drinks to you just 2$ each time (we were ordering 2 bottles of Budweiser) then they came round very frequently!
Whilst there it is a good idea to visit the Grand Canyon, which is breathtaking. Perhaps not advised for people scared of heights though.
We had lunch with a tribe of Indians who live within the Canyon - very interesting.
I will be going back one day for sure.
