The hotel itself is nice, fairly large, rooms are cleaned every day, the food is nice and varied, and the views are great. The pools are spacious and clean, although neither are heated like claimed. We also liked the free bus to the nearest towns. The entertainment on the other hand is very poor, especially at night. Their is no night life in the town either if you wanted to go somewhere else. The team are mostly French and only seem to bother with you if you are Fench. Their English isn't great and they don't do anything at all with kids. The hotel mainly caters for 40+ age people. So if you are a family looking for some fun I wouldn't reccomend staying here, but if you are 40+ this will be a great place to relax.

booked the aguamar through thomsons as a repackaged deal after some early hickups all was well our holiday was from 09/04/2010 till 20/04/2010 on getting to the apartments we were very impressed clean tidy and a great view from the balcony of the mountains as we are regular visitors to tenerife the walk into town took us about 10 to 15 mins we know our way round better than we do our home town we always walk in tenerife (keeps you fit)i can say now with my hand on heart i can recommend this place to anyone who wants a quiet holiday as its out of town with not too many bars close by great for us every day we walked to the beach dont go much on complex pools the first 8 days were just as we had hoped but during our holiday iceland decided to explode sending the whole world into disruption this is when things got not bad just upsetting as were comming to the end of our holiday we did not have much money left we had to walk to the atlantida for any info as our rep did not speak much english (dutch) and no info was placed on the notice board day after day we tried to find out what was happening to no avail untill the day of our intended departure we then found out we were to go to the oasis golf hotel to book in after 1530 off we went with all our cases to find out no one knew we were arriving 7 hours later we were given a room the thing with this hotel they did not take cash in the bar shop or dining room so we had to go into town to get anything we needed not an easy task for all of you who know where the oasis golf is will understand we were given bed and breakfast and i must say the food was top class but this hotel is not for anyone on a very tight budget all being said i would and could not recommend the oasis golf unless you have a credit card and go all inclusive.............i must now mention that allthe reps in resort were fantastic and did all they could to help well done to you all

Fantastic stay in these apts. rooms large, huge bathroom and shower, spotlessly clean, good maid service. great value for money.Fantasic sea view of which I think all rooms have. Staff friendly and helpful. To the side of the apartments there is a path that leads down to the sea front, near the end of path to your right is a newly openened bar called Volare Cabaret Showbar, what a great place to go, run by Gary, Jo and their son Charlie, made us feel welcome, nightly entertainment, drink prices good, once found didnt need to go anywhere else. Will be going back. further down slope there are restuarants along the sea front, the chinese is good as is Harbour Lights. All in all great holiday will be back

The majority of the holiday was fantastic and would highly recommend the appartments.
Rooms - Very pleased with the apartments. Kitchen had hob, microwave, fridge/freezer. Could have done with oven. Spacious bedrooms and balcony overlooking pool. Was bit windy during the week we were there & doors rattled a bit in the wind, which for a light sleeper was a bit of a problem.
Pool area - The pool area was quite big with lots of sunbeds. Was also a smaller shallow kiddy pool. Pool was also a salt water pool.
Hotel location - Few restaurants around hotel however not close to beach etc. Not recommened to young people as not close to any nightlife. There is a courtesy bus which takes you to los Christianos and Playa de las Americas during the day where there are bigger beaches and more shops and restaurants.
However, despite a fantastic week, on the saturday we had popped down to the pool for 20 mins & in that time the cleaners had been & money was stolen out of my purse. Dirty towels were not replaced and apartments were not cleaned properly. The reception staff were not able to help as it was weekend and managers were not in & we felt they didnt deal with complaints with any sort of urgency.
Deffinately advise to use the safe even if your still on hotel premesis.Apart from one cleaner ruining the end of the holiday we still had a fantastic time & would still recommend the appartments to others - Just remember to lock all valuables away!

Don't be put off by the resorts name. We stayed in the appartments. Spacious, clean and a double balcony with access from the lounge and bedroom. Due to the lay out of the appartments we were sheltered from noise from the surrounding hotels. Also for people who want a relaxing break away from the hustle and bussle of the larger resorts this is the place to be. Staff are friendly and very helpful with the rooms being serviced 6 days out of 7. A Netto is a short walk away, We took a leisurely walk there each morning to buy supplies for breakfast. There is also a smaller shop opposite the entrance to the appartments. There are a choice of places to eat at the back of the building and at the front. We would highly recommend Sakura a chinese resturant. Which is situated between the appartments and the hotel. It was so good we went twice. The beach and harbour are directly outside the appartments. On our last day we were unable to book our room for an extra day as they were fully booked but this was not a problem. They provide a room to store your cases and have two seperate lots of showers for males and females to use before departing for the airport. Not your usual small ones but large and to the sames standard of the rooms.
The appartments provide a free bus everyday except Saturday into Los Chritianos and Los Americas which were both a delight to visit with their resturants, beaches and a prom which links both resorts.
In fact we had such a great holiday the only bit of constructive criticism I can offer is drop the word 'golf' from the resort name as I feel people will be detered from staying there which would be a great shame.

The Hotel Appartments were loveley the views are amazing the food was great the people were very freindly well some of them !You would think being close to the airport would be a bad thing but i can honestly say you dont really hear the planes at all,Now for the bad points ,The entertainment was rubish and i would advise anyone who stays to check your windows locks also when you go out check the door shuts behind you as we seen alot of doors left open also make sure you yous the safe !We had a camera stolen from our appartment and the hotel was not helpful at all !
I would stay here again but i would just like to say even thow we had a camera stolen it has not put us off ,We would just like to worn people to be careful...

The Hotel was very nice and clean, a taxi from the airport also only costs 15 Euros. The vast majority of the hotel is french and all of the entertainment was in frence. i would also not reccommend this holiday to anyone under the age of 40. A plus side is there is a free bus from the hotel to los cristianos and los americas however there is no night life in golf de sur at all.
overall the holiday was enjoyable but during a night there was nothing really to do...

We highly recommend this place. The food was delicious, apartment was huge and clean. It was a little hard to communicate in English with some of the hotel employees, but I wouldn't take it as a reason to complain. Fantastic swimming pools, tennis court, gym etc.
It's a great place for families- very quiet.
We would not recommend this part of Tenerife if you feel like spending your time on the beach- the hotel is located close to the marina, the beach is very small; it's more convenient to stay at the pool.
No night life, the place is dead after 9pm

We went to the Aguarmarina at the begining of June, there were 12 of us ages from 16 - 51 and we all had an amazing time, the apartments are spacious and clean, the pool had just been re-tiled and was lovely. Our double balcony looked over the harbour (room 403) the staff were so helpful and friendly.
The Volare bar and Tapas n Chill are on the side of the apartments and we went there most evenings as the food is excellent and reasonably priced (book as gets really busy) and the entertainment and service at Volare was fantastic, a different Soul/Motown act every night (The Temptations, Drifters, Supremes, Micheal Buble, to name but a few) we were throughly spolilt.
I would return tomorrow
Enjoy your holiday and say 'Hi' to Jo at Volare for me
