" I cannot praise this holiday enough.... "

I cannot praise this holiday enough. The staff were fantastic, couldn't do enough for us. The food was what I would expect at an expensive London eatery and the location of the hotel was spot on.

The rooms were a little small, but to be honest if that was all we had to complain about, I thought we did well!

The childcare was exceptional and the enthusiasm for the games and chants was quite exhausting! I have a five year old and a year old child, and I was completely comfortable with the arrangements made for the care of both.

The only real downside to this was the lack of skiing, it was very limited. Thus probably won't be returning for a couple of years this is unfortunate as I can't imagine finding such a brilliant hotel in a new resort....but watch this space.

When I fell and tore a ligament, everyone was very kind and helpful and when my one year fell ill, again I couldn't of asked for more than the kindness and consideration that we were given.

Well done all who contributed to such a wonderful holiday.

" Saas Fee is a beautiful, unspoiled... "

Saas Fee is a beautiful, unspoiled village nestling beneath a horseshoe of impressive craggy mountains, draped with enormous glaciers. The scenery is superb! Warm in the day and cool at night it was perfect for sports enthusiasts, with hiking on the well marked mountain paths being the main attraction.

There was also mountain biking, glacier skiing (the British, Swiss and Italian ski teams were all in training while we were there) and at the Astroturf courts - football, tennis and volleyball. We went with Esprit because of their excellent child care service, who looked after our kids 3 days during the week so we could enjoy a full range of adult activities while they were off on their own mini adventures (which varied according to age and ability, but included pony trekking, husky sledding and mountain biking).

Our package included bed, breakfast, evening meals (with wine) and a packed lunch, which made the stay more affordable. We ate out a couple of times and there are lots of good restaurants in town, many serving local traditional dishes. Overall it's a great place for families who like the outdoor life.
