This resort was beautiful. The service to your room was top class. Rooms were a bit basic considering the rest of the hotel was lovely. Food was out of this world and you really could eat all day long!!! The on site water park for the kids was probably the best feature for... more

This is our 2nd visit to this complex. We stayed in the Hotel Fulya this time as it has just been refurbished and is in a central location. (Our Kamelya World stay was about 5 years ago) Since our last visit, much of the complex has been extended and improved. The Kamelya... more

Firstly if you are flying with Sunair then decline the meal (both there and back), try and have something to eat before you go. I went on holiday with my 11 year old daughter (I’m a lone parent), and my friend who is also a lone parent and her 9 year old son. I feel... more

On arrival at the resort we were subjected to a long delay in booking in while the reception staff dealt with people who arrived after us. We were then taken to what i can only describe as a low class Blackpool style room, with stained and broken furniture. This is most... more

Selin hotel - part of the Kamelya complex
We had 2 weeks at the Selin Kamelya in July 2004. There were 8 of us, 4 adults and 4 teenagers. We had 4 twin rooms. The place is huge - there are 2 hotels plus the village rooms. They advertise the Selin as 5*, the Fulya as 4* and the village as 4*. I'd rate the Selin as 3*. This has the potential to be a 4 or 5* but some of the staff and all the management let it down. Physically the hotel has everything you need. Lovely beach, great pools, waterslides, loads of restaurants, night club etc. However, the food is repetitive and you are only allowed to book 1 speciality restaurant a week, even though they are often half empty. The Chinese and Fish restaurant were very good but we were not allowed into the Turkish. We got into the Italian, again very good, only by bribing the maitre d. The rooms are adequate, clean but not very big. The mini bar is free and filled every day. The animation team were very good, and although very few spoke English they made a big effort. We tried to book a late check out room on our 12th day but were told by reception they would not give us a decision till 10.00 on our check out day. They did give us one for 40 euros but this went straight in the manager's pocket. He refused too give us a receipt. There was alcohol available at lots of bars 24 hours a day, and the quality was fine but some of the bar staff were a bit morose ( maybe not paid much) Sometimes they ignored our teenagers waiting to be served soft drinks or coffee and had to be reminded these kids were paying customers, (£1000 for 2 weeks each) This was when they would lose the ability to understand English. Overall, the animation staff were the only ones who seemed to care whether we had a good holiday. The rest needed a tip before they would make an effort and even then with bad grace. There are much better hotels in Turkey. Give them your business.
