Submitted By: purple78which is two mins from the hotel for breakfast and we met zac the boss he was lovley and sat and chatted to us about greece. the pool area was fine and the food was near the pool, the only bad thing was that there was insects floating in the water. over all we would not go back to the kris mari but would go back to kos.

Submitted By: maddfridgeThe hotel is basic, but clean and tidy, the staff are very friendly and nothing is to much.
George behind the pool side bar is such a(laugh may be a smile he just pops up everywhere at night
Natilie behind the bar is really good and is very knowlegable a patient dont think i could put up with all the tipsy guests.
the only downside is the breakfast it is irractic ham some days but basic, we missed most of the breakfast you can get good breakfats locally.

Submitted By: Mrs R ClempsonWe arrived at the hotel and checked into our room within 10 minutes. Was a little disappointed at first as we were expecting a sea view, however this was not the hotel's fault. Rooms basic but clean. Maid service every day.
Breakfast was poor. Toast, 2 x types of cereal, little choice of fruit and tea, coffee, juice etc. There was ham and cheese available Tuesday's and Saturday's!!
Pool area was great, proper little sun trap! George behind the pool bar was always friendly and does a mean ham, cheese and onion toastie!! Food and drink quite reasonably priced and very tasty.
Hotel is ideally situated, not too far from the centre and there are plenty of places to eat and drink within easy walking distance. There is a beach across the road from the hotel.
The only critiscm was that the pool attracts guests from other hotels/apartments, and can get crowded. Me not being the best of swimmers sometimes found it difficult to get in the pool and keep out of their way!!
All in all, a fantastic holiday. Can't wait to go back and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Submitted By: Miss K GartlandAs for the actual hotel i thought it was everything you could ask for (quite basic, but clean) the maids came in everyday to clean, change bins, straighten bedding etc. they changed bedding every week i think and towels more often.
The pool was nice. Quite large. only thing i could have complained at was the water line in the pool. it was a bit mouldy and there was loads of flower petal in the pool. apart from that it was great, got sun until about 7pm. the two guys behind the pool bar (can't remember their names) were lovely, always had time to speak to you etc.
Didnt get up once for the breakfast so can't comment on that.
Great holiday and met loads of nice people from the hotel. Would go defo go back.

Submitted By: Mr BK MetcalfeThe pool area is very clean, and played music all day whilst seriving food and drinks which were very good! The people on the bar were very friendly and talkative. We was quite loud around the pool, but nobody complained (it is a young persons hotel definatley) The pool had lilo's and balls constantly left there, so we never bought any and didnt have any arguments on who's lilo it was etc. The pool has sun on it all day until about 7ish.
The bar is open by this point. A pint of beer 2 euro's - cant complain. The havea happy hour between 7ish and 9 where there are long drinks using branded spirits for 2.5 euro and coctails for 3 euro. The bar is open till late, never really stayed in past 9.
The maids came in everday (i think) and were very nice...we had several bottles of water with 1/4 full and the maid put them all into one bottle and put it in the fridge!
The downside of this hotel has to be the food. Whilst i only made it on a handful of occasions, i was still a little dissapointed. The only food that was available was 2 different kinds of cereal and toast, with tea, coffee and juice available too.
The staff all round are really nice and would definatley reccomend ANY of the Cleopatra group. (You can use any cleopatra ameneties if you want).

Submitted By: Miss C JohnsonThere was 4 of us girls all 20 and over we went out the following night and obviously had a mad night being drunk etc! When we arrived back to our hotel at 5am we was a little loud but nothing to complain about then 15 mins later the hotel manager came in shouting at us screaming in our faces and spitting (total disrespect) saying we are "stupid little girls" and that he is better then us and more educated! Well im sorry someone whos more educated wouldnt speak like that to anyone! He said that loads of people complained when we had spoken to our neighbours they said they didnt hear a thing so his a complete lier!
So the rest of our stay was uncomfortable. Why addvertise this hotel on the beach holidays if its not sutiable for younger people? Dont stay in this hotel - other then that Kos was a nice place to be!
When we had our flight home from Kos our flight was then agaihnh delayed at 3.50am for 4 hrs so we didnt leave Kos airport until 7.50am where again we didnt get a glass of water nor coffee or tea. first choice not good!

Submitted By: Mrs A McKnightBreakfast was very poor, very little to choose from, a change from last year, when it was basic but there was some variety. You would expect to be able to get greek yoghurt and honey at a greek hotel. No honey available and yoghurt only every other day. When you pay for breakfast you don't expect to be supplying your own.
This hotel has many repeat customers who have been going back for years, many of them were complaining about the changes. Perhaps the new management should be listening.
On a positive note the hotel remains clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and always recognise previous guests. We did have to pay for air conditioning as it is not turned on until mid june, This meant a move of room to the third floor and a charge of 25 euros for the remaining five nights of our holiday.
The resort as always is lovely small enough to get around but large enough to prevent boredom. Some good shops available in resort if you feel like shopping.
Great restuarants in the resort. Try Manos on the beach, new this year and started by two waiters who worked in Paradise. Food is great and reasonably priced. El Greco also good, huge portions.
Calypso bar for frozen cocktails. Cocomo great happy hour and staff vey friendly. This is their first season. All in all a great holiday and hoping to return in August.

Submitted By: Mr C GouldHotel was very nice, rooms good, although air-con struggled to cope during the hotter days.
Yannis, the barman, is a very friendly and easygoing guy - his recommendations for places to eat are not to be ignored.
Sun Med or Med Sun restaurant offers excellent value for money combined with excellent food - highly recommended.
Kardamena itself is a nice town with plenty of good restaurants and bars to choose from. The square at night can be a bit loud with the boom-boom of music, but all bars have to shut their doors at 12 and keep the music inside.
If you get the chance drop into the Brewers Droop bar just along from the Kris Mari and say hello to Kev and Chris the owners - very nice and likeable couple and a good bar for chilling in.
Book you trips through Overseas Travel situated in one of the side streets off the square. Judy is very helpful in booking trips.
Would definately go back again - nice people, nice food, nice bars and nice weather.

Advice: Charming little village
