We very recently stayed at the Vila Marachque complex in a clean and comfortable one bedroom apartment. We had a pool view. The pool ( well almost a lido ) was excellent and we found the gardens well maintained. Perhaps a car is needed as it is a 20 -25 minute walk to the... more

Vila Marachique apartments were very clean, very spacious. Staff were very friendly, although the staff at the poolside bar were less so. Situated a 15 minute walk from the centre of Alvor. Walk to Alvor all down hill, but needed a taxi to take us back. Taxi's plentiful in... more
