Sheraton Waikiki Hotel

The hotel is situated in the middle of Waikiki Beach Area, close to restaurants and the most amazing designer shops. The first thing that struck us was that most of the holidaymakers in the hotel and on the streets were Japanese.
We stayed on a room only basis, but had breakfast in the hotel anyway, for about $29 for 2 of us. The choice of breakfast was excellent. All the stuff were very polite and helpful. The room was lovely, very big with the most enormous bed and wonderful views of Waikiki Beach and all the surfers. The pool at the hotel was rather small but there was an access to the beach which was sandy, clean and busy.
We discovered the most amazing restaurant in Waikiki called Sansei, where we had the most amazing sushi ever. The blue crab rolls were to die for.
The staff at the hotel were very helpful in organizing our trip to Pearl Harbour and a car rental. Overall, the hotel was very comfortable, Waikiki Beach great and it is well worth renting a car and driving to Sunset Beach and Turtle Bay resort in the north. The roads are empty and easy to drive on. We will go back one day!
