" Was at Captan Kemal apartments in... "
Submitted By: Ms Jj Mason
Was at Captan Kemal apartments in July and since been back in September. All the staff were very friendly and a big thank you to all for making our holiday a very good one the Turkish nights were really good so thanks again to Ali, Kemal, Baris, And Batu.
This hotel is well recommended and i will certainly be going back next year. The hotel is very clean the pool is always very clean and the rooms are cleaned everyday and very good standard.
It is close to bar street and may I say club x bar is very good and uncle festers do a very good steak so you must try it. Captan kemal is not far away from the beach either so it is in a very good part of Gumbet. So it is worth staying here.

" I spent a week at the Captain Kemal... "

I spent a week at the Captain Kemal Apart, It was wonderful week. The hotel is excellent, it is a family business. When you have a problem you can contact with owner of the hotel easily.
And they look after hotel customers very well. The rooms are very comfortable every room has a very big balcony. With a bad room and a big saloon there is enough place to stay with 4 people. It is very close to centre and very close to beach. And swimming pool is a big one very clean. I really enjoyed my holiday.

" Hello all!
I read some... "
Hello all!
I read some bad reviews about this place before I went and it was quite off putting went along and it was BRILLIANT!!
The Captain Kemal Apartments is quite a small area with one swimming pool and a bar (which is reception). At first I was a bit off put at the size as I usually stay on bigger complexes. This turned out to be a good thing as you get to meet loads of people and make lots of friends as you really have 2 mingle.
<br>
We went on three of the Twentys evening excursions; School disco, beach BBQ and Halikarnas;
School Disco; this was on our first night, unfortunately we didn’t have a school uniform so we just wore white tops, skirts and hair in bunches. This was a brilliant night, we went on a bar crawl all around Gumbet, involving drinking games and karaoke!
BBQ; we went to a club on the sea front for this BBQ, the food was lovely (salads and meet), you also get a free hour at the bar, you then move on into Gumbet, for another night out where you will meet the rest of the Twentys gang!
Halikarnas; IF YOU DON’T LIKE GREASY TURKS AND CONFINED SPACES DO NOT GO TO THIS CLUB! ESPECIALLY THE GIRLS! We were in a big group of girls, you cant dance unless you want some minger groping you and you get all sweaty (not attractive), we ended up leaving after an hour and heading back into Gumbet for our last night.
Gumbet: Brilliant place, right outside the doorstep of the hotel you have a Turkish restuarant-Javant Garden? Very friendly, nice food at cheap prices. If you head to the left of the apartments there will be loads of shops and markets. Go past these and you will come to my favourite, bar street!
Most of our time in Gumbet was spent at an Aussie bar called Outback- if you like a bit of good old rock music, pool and nice cocktails (surfers paradise) this is the place to be. The mystery bar is also good which is opposite the road although past 12 it does get full with Turks, underneath is the karaoke bar which is always good for a laugh.
Bodrum basically was the same as Gumbet but you have to get a taxi too and fro so I wouldn’t bother.
We had a brilliant twentys rep looking after us, Yorkie, she was lovely and always willing to help. If you wanted to go to an excursion that they didn’t provide e.g. water park ask Yorkie and she’ll help you out.
We are four lasses from Cornwall, who came for a laugh, sun, good nights with great memories and that’s what we got.
Things to bring: School uniform, factor 15 & oil, & lots of alka seltzer!!!!
If you need any more info, which I may have not mentioned, please feel free to email me. Have a great time and say hi to Yorkie from the Cornish girls!
