The description of the hotel and location were accurate. Just spent 4 nights at this hotel, which was wonderful. Easy to get to. Got the number 30 or 50 bus from the airport, cost £1.60 to the train station in Basel and then got the number 1 or 2 bus to the hotel. Get off at the Messe Platz and the hotel is 25 yards away. A big tall glass building!
The room was excellent, with a panoramic view over France & Germany and the Rhine. Very clean, beautiful equipped bathroom, large bath, power shower, hairdryer, and bathrobes .... etc. Breakfast was a help yourself buffet, including hot food, bacon, sausages, eggs. The staff were extremely polite. Hotel had sauna and steam room that must be visited just for the showers! On arrival at the hotel we were given a mobility card that enabled us to have free public transport on the buses and trams for each day of our stay! Languages spoken are German (mainly) and French with a little bit of English.
