Ada 2 Apartments

We stayed at the Ada2 Apartments from 4th August 2007 until 17th August 2007 on a self catering basis.
When first arriving at the hotel it appeared to be on the outskirts of town in a back street, but as soon as we had explored the area and walked into town we realised it was in the perfect location. The hotel is situated one street back from the main road and is approx 1 minute from the beach, 1 minute from the Migros supermarket around the corner, 3 minutes to the nearest dolmus stop and a 10 minute walk along the beach front promenade into town. So all in all this is in the perfect location.
The hotel itself has 52 rooms located on 4 floors and our apartment was on the 3rd floor. The pool is huge for a hotel this size and much bigger than some of the larger hotels in Alanya! The pool tends not to be too busy during the day and as an alternative the hotel has it's own section of beach (Kleopatra No.20), with sunbeds and brolleys for rent from the hotel reception.
Staff at the the hotel are some of the friendliest people we have met. Unlike other hotels in Alanya they do not harass you to eat in their restaurant, drink at the bar and attend theme nights. We were asked once if we wanted to attend the Turkish Night and when we declined we were left alone and not asked every day. We did attend the Turkish Night of our own accord and it's definitely something I would recommend, even if it is only for the show that the two members of staff put on at the end (I won't spoil it for you!).
The room itself was very nicely laid out and very clean. The shower works perfectly and all other facilities are more than adequate. Beds are comfy and I would definitely advise getting air con for the room, it's bliss after a long day in the sun.
So overall the hotel is in an ideal very quiet location, the rooms are excellent and the staff very friendly. I would definitely go back to the Ada2 again, although it would be much better if it were not through GoldTrail.

There were three of us girls who chanced a last minute deal with allocation on arrival. And we were overjoyed when we pulled into the Ada 2. Although the first impressions were not the best, (the building is painted green), as soon as we got through the check in, the fun began.
The accommodation was spacious and clean, and was cleaned daily by very friendly maids. We had a balcony which overlooked the pool and bar area and which got a lot of use in the evening as you can hear the music and entertainment from the bar, which we found really got us in good spirits before venturing out.
There were plenty of bars and restaurants 5 - 10 minutes walk away, but most evenings we spent at the hotel bar.
The staff in the hotel are the friendliest people I have ever met, and it was them who made our holiday what it was.
The bar will stay open providing there isn't alot of noise to disrupt other guests. The only problem I had was trying to pay the bill, and I kept on getting the shock of my life the next morning when the "money man" behind the bar would present me with the bill. It wasn't that the bar prices were expensive, it was just too much of a good time. I can’t recommend this hotel enough.
