" My friends and myself have just got... "
Submitted By: Miss Laura JenkinsThe owner’s Poppy & Maki were the loveliest people you will ever meet. One of my friends was actually ill for the majority of our holiday, but we found the owners were so caring. They really are genuine nice people, and the hotel has that personal touch which I found really made the holiday!
We were situated in the perfect spot. Opposite was a super market, 5mins down the road was the beach and the road we were on was full of shops bars and restaurants! About 20mins away from bar street as well, which is fantastic for younger holiday makers.
I did find however that the Elite was far enough away from the busy town for everyone to get a good night’s sleep
Also are Rep Steve was brilliant, so if you’re thinking of booking a holiday in the elite I hope Steve is still there! You'll have a good laugh with him
Definitely recommend it!!
Also go to Shenanigans Irish bar down the road! Ask for Theo! Guaranteed a good night, family’s couples old and young!

" My Fiancé and I had been to Kos Town... "
Submitted By: Miss A FarnworthWhen we first arrived we were greeted by Poppy and she was fantastic.
Makis' cocktails are to die for! I think I must have gone through all 101 of them during the weeks stay. (Some are non-alcoholic).
Location was good, just a short walk to the hustle and bustle of the middle of Kos town but just far enough not to be disturbed by the noise.
There is a good supermarket opposite to buy all your essentials.
Definitely recommend to anyone!

" The apartments were lovely, as were... "
Submitted By: Ms R WallerThe taverna next door served lovely food and had good service. We also got a discount because the taverna is owned by Poppy's brother! The island itself is beautiful and it is well worth exploring and going on a boat trip to some of the other islands. I will certainly be back.

Its about a 10min walk to the beach and if you want to be close to the main bar street area these are ideal its about a 15-20min walk also if you like trips and stuff its the same because if you’ve never been to Kos all this is located in the main harbour area. These apartments made the stay even more worthwhile for us because they are just pure luxury and you don’t always get that on holiday.

There’s a taverna right next door as well and the food is just to die for I enjoyed my stay at elite and I’m sure you will too!

I found Kos to be more expensive than I had expected. I was the only adult with two teenage children. Eating out cost in the region of £50 per meal for the three of us, which adds up over the course of a week. Also the owners of the Elite Apartment are keen to get as much cash out of you as they possibly can, so be warned that you will not be getting any thing for free. We stayed the very last week of the season, we were the last people to leave the apartments and so no one would be staying after us, and yet I was charged 30 euros to keep the room for 6 extra hours after noon on our departure date. I also found that the exchange rate was such that it was cheaper to use the cashpoints in Kos than to bring Euro's with me.
However the reason that I am writing this review is to warn other unseasoned travellers... do not go to Kos in October! It rains, and rains and there is nothing to do in Kos when it rains!
Advice: I thought that Kos Town was very pretty. The harbour was lovely.
Activities: Boat trip to Turkey.
Good for: Beach
