why do so many of us go back so many times a year and over so many years if its so awful ??

Great for relaxing from A TripAdvisor Member
Me and my sister had a lovely relaxing time here at the Kamari Bay Hotel. Everyone was very friendly and the pool was simply bliss! We spent two whole weeks chilling out by the pool and had a great time, it was exactly what we wanted. Kefalos itself is a quiet place but with plenty of tavernas and pleasant restaurants. Thankyou everyone to Kamari Bay Hotel for giving us such lovely memories.

Yet another great week at this warm and friendly hotel, relaxing by the pool or around the bar at night. Yannis and Tony made us welcome as ever. Tony's wife Irene soon to have her second child, but nothing was too much trouble for her. Katerina and Maria always with a smile. We have seen some old friends yet again and made new ones who all state they will be back. The brothers on the Ocean flyer to Paradise Beach extend a warm hand of friendship. If the food concerns you, don't worry, nearly all serve a good and wholesome fare (one or two exceptions) If you have never tried it, go on give it a go, we have nearly 10yrs of trips and I know many more who have been going to this hotel far more than we have. Ideal for those who just want to relax and chill out

This is a fabulous hotel, in a wonderful setting two minutes from great beach, bars, tavernas and shops. Spotlessly clean, bedding and towels changed every day, air con in room phone in room and the best bar man ever Tony. He never forgets a name or what you drink and the bar is never closed. I have never been to a hotel before where I am determined to go back to next year. It is also incredibly cheap. We loved it and were desperatley sad when our week was up. If you go make it two weeks we will next year. It has a great pool and bar side snacks, it really is FABULOUS. Don't know why every one moans about the breakfast yes its a roll and jam, coffe/tea and fruit juice but hey what do you want your in greece you want an english breakfast there are plenty of places to get that for just a couple of euros and the breakfast is included in the price if your up you have it if your not its no great loss. Tony if you get that computer and look at these reviews Charlotte and Dawn will see you next year with the rest of the gang. BRILLIANT.
Super Holiday from marineman
Well what can one say, a superb hotel very clean and tidy hot water every day now that was a surprise!. Yianni a nice man very pleasant and friendly and the barman Tony well i do not know how you can describe him. A man of witt and remembers everything about you, very funny. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Kos. We will definately visit again next year and to all the friends we made see you next year same time same place.

We have just returned after 2 weeks at Kamari Bay It was wonderful. This is our 6th time and each time It gets better. The hotel bedrooms have recently Been refurbished and they really are lovely they Have new beds and plenty of storage space. The Staffs are all friendly and nothing is too much Trouble. The rooms are cleaned daily and you have Clean sheets and towels everyday. Yannis (owner) Is always friendly and willing to help in anyway. Tony (barman) what can I say about Tony he is the Best barman I have known and he mixes a great Cocktail. He always remembers what you drink And what your name is. You can drink all night If you want to as there is always someone there to Serve you. It is nicely situated near the beach, bars And taverna’s there are many tavernas’s. You always Have your favourites and some you wouldn’t go Back to. Over the years we have made many Friends and when you go back it is like a family reunion. I am hoping to go back in Sept. this year it is just a matter Of persuading my other half that we need to go back Only visiting once a year is not enough. If you’ve Not been before give it a try and you wont regret it.

We Have just returned from two weeks at Karmani Bay Kefalos the hotel is very clean although there is no fridge in room which we found a problem as it was very hot during our stay also no kettles etc. The breakfast was very poor although the staff were very friendly and Tony the barman was very nice. Yannis the owner was very nice although he did over charge us for the air conditioning we only had it for 5 nights but we were charged for 10 nights, we wanted to pay up front but he told us to wait till we were leaving so we had no proof of when we got it but i knew as we worked out we would be paying 25 euros but instead it cost us 55 euros so we put up the heat for nothing we could have got it from the begining. We think it should have been in with the price of the room and we think Yannis should have wrote it down. We wont be going back there as we wernt too happy the way we were treated over this.

All of the staff at this hotel are very friendly and welcoming. The pool is a good size, although a little cold, and there are plenty of sunbeds to accomodate the guests. Kamari Bay Hotel is in the centre of the resort, as bars and restaurants are a short walk away, and it is only a couple of minutes to reach the beach. Only negative thing was lack of a room to shower etc on our last day, as had to leave our own room at midday, and coach didn't arrive until after midnight, but was told to use beach showers to wash and change in bar toilets, as there isn't even a poolside shower. Other than that, hotel is wonderful and highly recommended!

Fantastic hotel. Spotlessly clean, however the rooms are a little on the basic side. The breakfast is contiental but would see you through to lunch. The staff can't do enough to help, and Tony the barman is a great laugh. He has just opened a 'wacky warehouse' style kids play area round the corner. Well worth taking the kids up for a visit!!!!! Would recommend and would re-visit.

Myself my partner and my daughter had a FAB time at Kamari Bay.It was very central for everything.Fab Chinese Resturant just across the road. The staff were all so lovely and the rooms were kept very clean only downfall NO airconditioning. If you can drive then it's a must that you hire a car.We got a real bargain and hired a car for 11 days where we got to tour this LOVELY island. Hope you all have a fantastic time. ENJOY.
Yet another great time with the family from A TripAdvisor Member
Have just spent another 7 great days warmly received by Yianni, Tony, Irene, Katarina and the new lady at the pool bar, Maria. It really is like going back to see the family, we know all so well now, not just the hotel but in most of the Tavernas, where as usual the food is well produced together with a warm welcome. There have been one or two changes in resort but nothing to detract from the peaceful surroundings. I am often asked why we go back so much, all I can say is that once you have been you will know the answer. Even though Nick has closed his bar, you can still play boulles at the back of his supermarket and still buy a cheap drink from the shop and enjoy the game We have relatives visiting the hotel mid June, my daughter is visiting end of June and relatives again visiting in september. It started with two of us on a last minute deal, now we go in droves to this lovely hotel and lovely resort
