We stayed at the Albatross the same week as Mr & Mrs Taylor (see them below )
We did not like the Way , the Managers ran this lovely Place . Yes it doe's look after the Ex pats & British !!!!! Sad realy not "WoT " we needed . The Greek owners Were Rude ! Will not Go back to Albatross would NOT RECOMENED for peace & quite !

when we went to turkey we was put in to a hotel and we was disgraced by it and the next morning we was in the albotross.when we arrived we was greated with a warm welcome
im so glad that we moved because the albotross is amazing....
i have NO complaints and every one was so nice it was family run so it was a good relationship between the staff and the familys staying..
we went to cancun this year (2008)
and we was put into a horribal hotel called The Caribbean princess
we have now decided that we will beging to turkey about twice a year and we will be going to the Albotross
we was really pleased and i recomend this to all ages ..:)

Stayed at the Albatross in June 2006 and had a wonderful time as the owners are lovely people and Demitri who managed it for them couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
We went back this year and I have to say that we were disappointed that Demitri has left and also the relaxing and welcoming atmosphere along with him. It's still the same two lovely Greek couple that own the place but now they've employed a British couple to manage it and the atmosphere has changed somewhat!
If you like constant music around the pool, darts and all that's typical English, you'll like it but if that's so, you might as well stay in the UK as it'd be cheaper.
The British couple aren’t quite as friendly as the Greeks either - unless you're a good customer at their poolside bar of course.

What can I say? Clean rooms, lovely clean pool. Demetri who ran the bar made the food and did just about everything, it was great.. Weekly bbq for guests put on by the owner and his wife was unexpected and very nice.
Studios in a quiet location in Kefalos, which was great and was adults only, so no shrill shrieking from unruly kids which was the best point of the holiday for myself and my husband.
Unfortunately we couldn’t go back this year but I booked in July for Aug 2008 and can’t wait. Can’t rate this accommodation highly enough had a wonderful relaxing holiday.

My boyfriend has been travelling to Kefalos since he was a young child with his family. I picture on this review is however different to the Albartoss in which we stayed although I thought there was only one Albatross Studios in Kefalos?
We stopped at Albatross 2 years in a row, one of which the english managers were still there who were very pleasant. Although last year was our 2nd time there, and we found the greek owner much nicer and much more forward with the guests. The rooms were clean, cleaned very regularly, bins emptied etc. The food and service is always lovely and always polite. Acon works fantastically, the first year we went we requested a sea view and a top floor room which is what we got, we enjoyed that room so much we requested the same one the second year which we also got! The resort of Kefalos would be perfect for a family holiday, nice and quiet, with beaches and water activities etc however Albatross is an adults only hotel!
Unfortunately the hotel was fully booked this so we are having to stop elsewhere but will definately be stopping there again! Kos is a lovely island however Kefalos is the best for us! I would highly recommend Albatross Studios!!
